Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Ankunft über einen Schlüsselsafe.👍 Bequemes Bett👍 Tee, Kaffee und Wasser standen für uns bereit auch eine zusätzliche Decke und einen Fön gab es. Die Nähe zur Fähre ist perfekt. Nur 15 Minuten entfernt.

Reviewed Jun 13, 2026Ideaal als je aan het doorreizen bent. Ik moest de volgende ochtend de ferry naar Kristiansand hebben en dit kwam precies goed uit. Het is een oud gebouw en simpele kamers maar je hebt een goed bed en een warme douche en het was allemaal heel schoon en netjes. De self-service was heel duidelijk en makkelijk, ik kwam laat aan en kon binnen een paar minuten m'n bed in duiken.

Reviewed Nov 8, 2025Die Unterkunft ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Typ Omas Gästezimmer. Wir konnten nicht bleiben da mein Mann es bei starkem Milbenbefall nicht ausgehalten hat sich im Zimmer aufzuhalten. Leider kam auf meinen netten Hinweis an die Gastgeber keine Rückmeldung.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2025Strandlyst is nostalgie uit 1895. Je krijgt hetzelfde gevoel als bij Hotel van de Werff op Schiermonnikoog. Het is zeer eenvoudig, de bedden staan ver uit elkaar maar zijn prima, je slaapt als een marmot. We kwamen om 23 uur van de boot uit Noorwegen en zijn de volgende ochtend naar huis gereden. Daarvoor is het meer dan uitstekend. De gastvrouw is bijzonder gastvrij en we genoten van een heerlijk ontbijt bij haar. Het strand is op nog geen 1.000 meter afstand dus dat moesten we wel even bezoeken natuurlijk.
De prijs. Het hotel is gedateerd, wat de sfeer gezellig maakt en je voelt alsof je thuis komt. Maar dan vind ik DKK 880 exclusief ontbijt toch een hoop geld voor 1 nachtje slapen.

There were no staff, it was all self service: however, that turned out not to be an issue. It’s not in the center of anything in here so, but it’s not a difficult drive anywhere of value.
There are a few extras here, such as TVs or other non-necessities: however that was an important to us

It is all a bit older bit well maintained. We stayed in a quiet period, had no problems with noisy other rooms.

Reviewed Jun 21, 2024I think we were the only guests when we stayed there, which gave it a bit of an eerie feel. Room was minimal but clean and functional. Cute wall paper and design. Very easy check-in process, great parking.
No included breakfast. There were no extra pillows (just one per person) and since it’s unmanned - there’s no one to ask either. It felt low-budget (but not in my pocket book). There were only paper cups (2) in the room - no drinking glasses. Also a very small detail but the toilet paper was not folded over like it usually is at a hotel (even my house cleaner does it). Not important obviously but just contributes to the feeling of a low cost hotel. With some effort and attention to detail this could be a very cute place.
