Reviewed Jul 22, 2026This was an awesome weekend in one of the wonderfullest, quietest, beautifullest and relaxed places, we've ever been. It was "lagom": not too many, not too much, all enough (staff and so on). Woke up with a view through the trees. We ate with that view and also get a shower with that view. Big special was the sauna. Sitting there and watching the evening sun getting through the forest warmed our hearts more than the hot temperature.
Also nice were the turntable with a nice buket of LPs. Matches with the feeling there as most as possible. We played Yenga, Yatzi and 4 wins al lot of times.
The bed were so cozy and very comfortable.
You can also get very delicious blueberries (and maybe in autumn also Lingon) right in front of the door.
The area around the cabin was gorgeous. We did some walks and spend some time at the Ostsee. Smelt jättebra.
That we must leave this beautiful place so early.

Tutto fantastico a partire dalla sauna privata. L’host è stato sempre molto disponibile e ci ha consigliato sulle attività da fare nella zona. Organizzazione perfetta.

Die idyllische Lage mitten im Wald ist einzigartig. Die private Sauna war das Highlight. Das Cabin ist sehr qualitätvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet und eingerichtet. Coal ist sehr hilsbereit, antwortet sehr rasch und seine persönlichen Ausflugstipps haben unseren Aufenthalt zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht.
Leider konnte der Schlafbereich nicht ganz verdunkelt werden (Markise und Vorhang sind lichtdurchlässig), was bei kurzen Sommernächten weniger ideal ist.

Reviewed May 18, 2026A really cozy place where you can slow down and recharge your batteries. The space feels minimalistic yet luxurious, and it’s equipped with everything you need. Just light the grill, put on some nice music through the speaker, and breathe in the fresh northern forest air.

Reviewed Mar 3, 2026Otrolig plats för avkoppling och lugn! Så genomtänkt och fint. Mysigt med flertalet olika spel att sysselsätta sig med. Sängarna var underbara, vi sov så skönt!

We really liked the beautiful forest location surrounded by trees and nature, while still being close to the seaside. The house is clean and thoughtfully designed in a minimalist style, and it looks just as nice in reality as it does in the photos. The arrival instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the host was friendly and welcoming.
Unfortunately, upon arrival both the sauna and the stove stopped working due to an electrical issue when we switched on the sauna. Cole was friendly and tried to help, but the problem required an electrician and could not be fixed remotely.
Because the house is about a 20-minute drive from the nearest town on a difficult road, eating out all the time was not a practical option. There is no microwave, so without a working stove we had no simple way to warm food. This was stressful with children and took a lot of energy from our weekend. In winter the house was quite chilly, which might have been manageable, but after long walks there were very limited ways to warm up: the sauna was not working and the hot shower lasted only 7–10 minutes.
Overall, we paid the full price but did not receive the full service, so it did not feel like good value for money. Next time we will just book a hotel.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Our stay in the cabin was a wonderful relaxing experience. The cabin is very cozy and comfortable and Cole was very responsive to questions and suggestions we had. The addition of a sauna was fantastic and aided in the experience. The charcoal grill was great too.

The stay was in general really cozy, comfortable and wonderful, we had a quiet time with family, cooking, playing, reading, walking around and the sauna was the best while these stormy days 😍
We loved the sense of style in the interior and all the things around! Nice salt & pepper, coffee maschine, radio…. We liked everything

Reviewed Oct 23, 2025This functionally designed, cozy cabin is a perfect sanctuary nestled in the beautiful Swedish nature.
We felt immediately welcomed by a personalized card from Cole and were able to completely disconnect and settle into the quiet. Every detail is carefully selected, from the luxurious linens and curated furniture to the sophisticated kitchen cutlery and dishware. Our time was spent exploring the beautiful forest trails and private beaches, guided by the excellent local tips in the check-in guide. Returning for a relaxing sauna or settling in with the wide selection of board games and books was the perfect way to spend the dark autumn evenings.
Thanks Cole for providing such a beautiful stay and a truly intentional escape. We absolutely loved it and can't wait to return in the summer to enjoy the patio and grill.
The cabin is beautifully set among the trees, though it's worth noting that it is more visible from the road than the photos might suggest, and you will see an occasional car passing.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2025Tolle Architektur inmitten der Natur vermitteln ein starkes Gefühl, ganz allein im Wald zu sein. Drinnen und draußen verschmelzen. Viele Blaubeeren direkt vor der Tür. Eine schöne Küste fussläufig erreichbar.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2025Cole é un host super disponibile e la cabin é esattamente quello che ci aspettavamo di trovare. La sauna indipendente é una chicca, bella quasi quanto le stelle che si vedono accanto all’amaca, nelle sere in cui il cielo é limpido. I giochi di società, inoltre, sono perfetti per trascorrere del tempo di qualità: consigliatissima!

Reviewed Jun 1, 2025A perfect spot in a most amazing stylish cabin. The ideal place to spend a couple of nights in the middle of a beautiful pine woods covered with blueberries and moss. Lovely sauna facing the sunset at the other end of a generous deck. Seaside two minutes walk away. An amazing discovery in our road trip through Hälsingland.
