Reviewed Jun 27, 2026Location is perfect : not far from the attractions but by the secluded farm house. The cabin bright and light and bed very comfortable. There is nice outdoor spot to relax against the fjord, unfortunately the weather was rainy during our stay and it was not possible to use.
The layout of the house is not so comfortable: the fridge is out of the kitchen and you have to go up and down each time via steps without fences. The bathroom is very small including tiny sink with no good option to put things. Also the cabin has a fireplace but you need to bring your own woods, it will be nice to supply them by owners

Reviewed Jun 15, 2026Patiešām maza, mīlīga mājiņa, kur varējām aizbēgt no stresa, baudīt mums tik svarīgo klusumu un mieru un fantastisko skatu pa logu. Jauki, laipni, neuzbāzīgi saimnieki, burvīgā Luna, kura vienmēr sagaidīja, kad atgriezāmies. Mums viss ļoti patika, tikai jārēķinās ar loti maza izmēra vannas istabu un dažiem stāviem pakāpieniem uz guļamistabu, mums tas nesagādāja problēmas. Pieejama veļas mašīna, silto laiku varēja baudīt terasē. Iespēja kurināt kamīnu, pašam jāsagādā malka. Virtuvē indukcijas virsma, trauki gatavošanai, mikroviļņu krāsns, varbūt pietrūka vēl kāds mazāks šķīvītis papildus diviem lielajiem.

Jeśli już miałabym coś tutaj wymyślić to schodki między częścią sypialnianą a salonem

Reviewed May 11, 2026The cabin was very cozy, clean and has a great view of the Olderfjord. The kitchen and bathroom was well equipped for our needs. The fireplace was a nice touch (bring your own wood). Luna was always welcoming.

Reviewed May 10, 2026Nous avons tout aimé dans cette charmante petite maison. Son emplacement près du fjord, sa décoration cocooning, ses équipements fonctionnels, tout. Et la table près de la fenêtre de laquelle on peut admirer la montagne et ses changements de couleur en fonction du temps. L’accès facile et la disponibilité du propriétaire est un plus non négligeable. J’aurais adoré rester plus longtemps si cela m’avait été possible.

Reviewed Jan 5, 2026La casetta è molto carina e accogliente, c'è una cucina attrezzata per poter cucinare e la posizione è super, con la vista sull' intero fiordo..spettacolare!! Il proprietario è molto gentile ed accogliente, ed il cane Luna è super coccolosa!! Esperienza molto bella, consiglio tanto!!
Se devo trovare qualcosa, il riscaldamento un po' basso appena siamo entrati, alzando la temperatura ci ha messo un po a riscaldarsi

Reviewed Dec 31, 2025La casa es muy acogedora y muy bien ubicada. Los propietarios responden muy rápido a los mensajes. Tienen un Samoyedo muy simpático. No olvidaros de comprar leña. Tienen una chimenea que hace que la estancia sea más agradable

Reviewed Nov 2, 2025Very special place. The cabin is located in a quiet fjord - perfect for those who want to enjoy nature. Still, by car most of the lofotes activities can be easily reached. The host was very welcoming and helpful whenever needed. He gave great recommendations for activities. We liked the little cabin a lot and had a relaxing time. It's not huge but it was perfect for us and we had a great time there. And the friendly dog Luna is for sure another plus!

Reviewed Sep 15, 2025La casa es muy agradable y confortable. A nosotros nos fue muy bien la ubicación para poder visitar toda las Lofoten Las vistas al fiordo son impresionantes. Vimos una pequeña aurora boreal, ya que no hay mucha contaminación lumínica El trato por las parte de los propietarios fue muy buena y de su perrita Luna.
Me hubiera gustado quedarme más días 🤭

Nichts. Wer eine abgelegene Unterkunft sucht, ist hier goldrichtig.

Reviewed Dec 23, 2024This is a perfect cabin, and I would highly recommend it to other travelers! If you’re looking to experience life among the locals rather than in a touristy area, this is a wonderful choice. While the red cabin isn’t located in a big town like Svolvær or Kabelvåg, it’s conveniently near the I-10, and just a 25-minute drive will take you to Svolvaer. The view is stunning. I wish I could live here 365 days a year! You’ll have the entire cozy and warm red cabin to yourself. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and live in the house next to the cabin. They even have the cutest dog named Luna. I absolutely loved her! The cabin is peaceful and quiet, and I had the best sleep here. The cabin is well-equipped with kitchen utensils, so you can easily prepare a great dinner with your partner. Plus, they have a Monopoly board game, perfect for a fun evening together. Overall, a fantastic stay!
The smell of the shower curtain is unpleasant; the host could consider replacing it periodically with a new one.
