The place was amazing and all our needs catered for. The room was absolutely stunning with breathtaking views and the host was amazing. Will definitely visit again

Manchmal trifft man auf Unterkünfte, bei denen alles passt und man einfach nur staunt und genießt. Das Ocean Gaze ist eine davon. Sensationeller Setup, allerhöchste Qualität, eigener Parkplatz, unser Appartement (ich glaube Nr 3, Obergeschoss links wenn man gen Meer blickt) war sehr großzügig und mit vielen liebevollen Details ausgestattet (zB Fernglas für die Walbeobachtung). Der Pool ist schön, der Blick atemberaubend. Die Gastgeber sind freundlich und sehr kompetent. Man läuft keine 5 min zum Meer. Mehrere Restaurants sind in Laufweite (Blue Lagoon, Lobster Pot). Wir haben aufgrund der hohen Wellen den Gezeitenpool am Ende des Standes sehr geschätzt. Unser Aufenthalt in Ramsgate hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

We had such a lovely stay this weekend! The place was beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. You could really feel the care and thought that went into creating such a welcoming space. A special thank you to our host, Clare, who was absolutely wonderful. She was so helpful, attentive and accommodating throughout our stay, and made us feel genuinely welcomed.

I really needed a beautiful break from my crazy life and this Bed and Breakfast was just that. It was quiet and peaceful. It had the most beautiful view. It was so luxurious and the attention to detail made me feel special. Little touches of class everywhere.

Finding staff onsite was difficult because it was so quiet. I ended up writing via booking.com to ask for my wifi password and where the microwave was. The owner answered quickly so that was good. Also when I was leaving I could not find anyone to open gate and where to leave my keys. Maybe they should have a lock box or some system to drop keys

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Ozean Gaze sehr genossen. Die Lage ist perfekt – mit wunderschönem Meerblick und einem schönen Strand mit Badmöglichkeit direkt auf der anderen Straßenseite. Unser Zimmer im ersten Stock war sehr geräumig, mit großem Balkon und herrlichem Blick aufs Meer. Perfekt war auch das Badezimmer: sehr groß, makellos sauber und geschmackvoll ausgestattet und eingerichtet. Das ganze Haus ist liebevoll gestaltet und sehr gepflegt. Die Besitzerin und das gesamte Team sind ausgesprochen herzlich und hilfsbereit, sodass wir uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen und wohl gefühlt haben. Auch das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet - es gab frisches Obst, köstliches Brot, frisch gekochtes Porridge und Rührei. Alles war perfekt!

It’s in a beautiful location, and the view from the upstairs rooms is stunning!! Super quiet and peaceful.

Breakfast options were a bit limited, but understandable since I hadn’t included it in the booking.

Clare and Ken are the best hosts. Very courteous and helpful.

The bed was absolutely gorgeous we had the best night sleep.

I loved the whole lay out of the room and bathroom.

Patio floor was a bit slippery after the rain.

The owners Clare and Ken were extremely friendly and welcoming. The views are incredible and the facilities are top notch. I will definitely book Ocean Gaze again when I return to Ramsgate for a holiday.

Nothing that I disliked about the Guesthouse.

Quiet and beautifully appointed establishment. Lovely linen and bath towers and a super comfy king sized bed. Superb beach views a lovely pool to swim in and loungers to relax on. The owner Clare was most helpful with suggestions for eating locations nearby.

The room was hot and there isn't any airconditioning, however we understand that with the intermittent power supply on the South Coast, running an airconditioner is difficult. That said, they have solar and jojo tanks, so you will never be without power or water and the fan in the room did help.

We had a wonderful stay! Clare made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was a highlight — modern, roomy, and very neat. The facilities and pool were excellent, and it was clear that everything was well-maintained and clean. The location is perfect, right opposite the Waffle House, and the pricing is reasonable for the quality provided. A really lovely place!

While the room didn't have air conditioning, the large ceiling fan was sufficient. Since the weather wasn't overly hot or humid during our stay, we found it manageable. Other than that, everything was excellent.

We had a lovely one-night stay at Ocean Gaze. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The place itself was wonderful—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up. The views were absolutely beautiful and truly lived up to the name. Even though our stay was short, it was very relaxing and memorable. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Such a great location..a beautiful view of the ocean and Ramsgate beach from our balcony in room no4..in addition to this the location is so well positioned that many amenities are in walking distance (the waffle house and blue lagoon restaurant) a mere 100m walk Clare and Ken were also lovely hosts. With a long standing history and love for Ramsgate. They shared many tips and insights on things to do and where to go. I must also say that the accomodation is of top quality, spacious rooms with lovely, good quality beds,linen,and furniture that added to the comfort and luxury of our stay..we only stayed 6 nights and they were quality nights. We wish we could have stayed longer.

I had the most wonderful stay, the room was so beautiful and comfortable, and everything was thought out, the host was so accommodating with my requests. The views were exceptional, the breakfast was gorgeous and sophisticated, I enjoyed the evening and stay and will be back!

This was definitely one of the best guest houses we have been so far. We had a room on the first floor with a large terrace and an exceptional view. The room was equipped with everything what was needed for a comfortable stay. The golf courses Southbroom, San Lameer, Wild Coast and Margate are all close by.

Beautifully positioned and designed property. Much thought given to facilities for guests whilst at the same time feeling comfortable and homely. Also within easy walking distance of restaurants and beach.

Our host Clare received us warmly when we arrived. . My siblings and I appreciated that what appeared on the website is what we found at the property. Our exceptional host gave us options, and that is to have breakfast at the property or at The Waffle restaurant that is a stone-throw away. We opted for the restaurant and had discounted breakfast for staying at Ocean Gaze.

Some lightning for the balcony upstairs and the pool area would be great, especially if you want to relax outside during the night.

Cleanliness and location. The property has a beautiful sea view .It is quiet and secluded. We liked that the property is not big and less noisy

There is no privacy on the balcony to the next room. The breakfast was bare minimum only egg and mushroom . They can do better with breakfast and provide good filter coffee.

We loved everything about this guest house, beautiful, comfortable, and tasteful furnishings. The rooms are spacious with an excellent sea view.The location was perfect for us, and spacious off-street parking. The hosts, Ken and Clare, were very friendly! I liked the cafitiere rather than instant coffee.. .

Clair, the host, was a lovely person - friendly and helpful. The decor and artworks were inspiring and homely. The rooms were exceptional as they were large and had beautiful views. The bed was large and comfortable. Everything one could need in a room was thought of - like plugs, suitcase stand etc. We could easily walk to the beach. The sea and pool's water were nice and warm (October).

On the booking site - a photo was a little misleading as it showed a path to the beach - so one assumed it was on the beach - however it was on the other side of a road. Not a big deal - as one could easily walk there anyway.

Good but missed the bacon.
