Reviewed Aug 25, 2026La maison est parfaite. Typique des maisons malaisienne. On a l'impression d'etre inviter. Tres confortable, tres pratique. Miss chuah a ete tres prévenante, nous a aidé à planifier nos transferts à notre arrivée tardive. 10/10 pour Miss Chuah!

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Super nette Gastgeberin, extrem sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Sehr großes Haus. Wasserspender in der Küche super.
Nachts immer wieder Verkehrslärm, Betten und Kissen waren der Hälfte von uns leider zu hart. Das Haus ist doch mehr ab vom Schuss als gedacht. Zu Fuß ca. 30 Minuten ins Zentrum.

Serves us wifi as well with fully aircond and ceiling fan. Feel like home. And the owner hospitality was so kind to us. Recommended cozy place to stay with quite neighbourhood, Thanks to Ms Winnie Chuah. You are the best

Reviewed Sep 17, 2025We had such a wonderful stay at this homestay! The house was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the facilities we needed for a relaxing trip. The location is convenient as near with the jetty and down town, and the environment is peaceful—perfect for a group of family. The host was friendly, responsive, and very helpful by showing around the house and making check-in/ check-out smooth and easy. We really appreciated the small touches and hospitality provided. Overall, it felt just like home, and we would definitely come back again. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a cozy and enjoyable stay!
The only minor drawback is that the parking space is quite small, so it may be a bit tight for a bigger car. Other than that, everything was excellent, and we truly enjoyed our stay.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2025Herzlicher Empfang der Vermieterin mit persönlicher Einweisung. Das Haus ist hervorragend ausgestattet und der Boden war so sauber, dass man davon hätte essen können. Alles in diesem Haus war sauber und ordentlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und waren traurig, das wir aufgrund unserer Reisepläne nur für eine Nacht bleiben konnten.

Reviewed Apr 29, 2025The place is super clean and everything is neat and tidy. Bed is comfy, bathroom is clean, water pressure is good, shower is great. Location is superb, and it's very close to Mersing town. I've been to a 3 star hotel nearby for my last trip, but the cleanliness is very bad. But this place is worth every penny I spent, much better than a hotel. Thank you, and will definitely come back again!
One minor issue is that the first bedroom, the bed is next to the window, and the curtain couldn't block the street lights. Could used dark curtain to block out the lights from outside the house. I need complete darkness to fall asleep, so I put on an eye mask to fall asleep.

Nothing on top of my mind. There is a nice smart TV provided but no inbuild Netflix App. So if you want to chill with Netflix cast it.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2024The home was just right for our short stay in Mersing. Keep in mind it's a bit away from the city center and Grab is not easily accessible. However, the owner provided a taxi contact which we did use. The driver was excellent and fair.

Inside parking too small for a medium coupé. This next is NOT in the host's control: but right opposite the house is a futsal court where locals play till 10.30-11.00pm.

Parking inside the drive is only suitable for a small car although there's plenty of parking outside the house. The kitchen is spacious but not well equipped. For example we couldn't find a peeler.

Unit was big, clean and comfortable. it was great stay with basic amenities and greeneries around, also shopping and groceries available near by. Ferry terminal is 5 min distance only.
good. Toilets were bit far from rooms and mosquito outside due to greeneries around, however not a big problem as such and can be ignored. Property can provide oven or induction for kitchenware might be helpful for travelers.

The surrounding area is not particularly attractive. But it does have one or two restaurants at walking distance.

Reviewed May 2, 2023We had a comfortable night's stay - good mattresses and bedding; towels included. Hot & cold water dispenser. Good flush toilets. Strong showers. Very clean throughout. Parking for 2 cars in the compound. Electric gates.
Nothing to dislike. Note: no cooking facility. Not a problem. Mersing town is about 10 minutes away. Just eat early. Eateries close maybe 7 or 8 pm.
