Happy View INN

I recently stayed at this hotel in Cairo, Giza, Egypt for four nights, and overall, my experience was very positive. ✅ Positive Points 1. Real and Genuine Hotel This is a physically existing hotel with a proper address. Unlike some places that advertise as hotels and then redirect guests elsewhere upon arrival, this hotel is exactly as advertised. That was very reassuring. 2. No Security Risk Regarding the Lift Someone mentioned in a previous review that there is only one lift going to the rooms and that if the lift stops working, it could be a security risk. From what I saw, this is not the case. The stairs are available from top to bottom. They are currently covered temporarily with a sheet, but in case of emergency, you can simply push it aside and access the stairs. There is also a large terrace area that can be used in case of emergency. Therefore, I do not see any security issue regarding this matter. 3. Excellent Value for Money The price was extremely reasonable. Honestly, the amount I paid for four nights was incredible — it did not even seem to cover the value of the complimentary breakfast they provided. It was truly excellent value for money. 4. Spacious and Well-Equipped Room The room was very large and everything necessary was available. I found nothing major to complain about. 5. Friendly and Helpful Staff All the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always available to assist. Their positive attitude made the stay even more enjoyable. 🔧 Points That Need Improvement (Suggestions) These are just suggestions for improvement: The wardrobe is available, but more hangers should be provided. Hooks or hangers inside the bathroom would be helpful. The bathroom could be cleaned more thoroughly. Silicone sealing should be added in the bathroom corners for a better finish. There is empty wall space near the small fridge where hooks for clothes could be installed. The entrance doors of the rooms need better sound insulation.

Place not clean, and high charge . This place is overrated. It is bad experience.😟😟

staff is very good and always greet with smile, nice view and close to pyramids,

للاسف بيعملوا تطوير ومصاريف لكن فيه مشكله تشغيليآ فى كل الجوانب صيانه ونضافه واستقبال

لا شئ

لم يعجبنى اى شئ

the view from the terrace towards the pyramids was fine. breakfast is fine. when I tried to book an UBER ride to the airport several times and the drivers always cancelled the trip asking for a much higher price in cash ... the staff was very helpful in ordering an UBER ride for me and the driver asked a smaller amount on top than when I ordered the ride myself

when I arrived the booking system in the hotel was not working. the property suffers power outages which is certainly not their fault but it is still a downer when internet is not working or the light goes of in a room with no natural light and you are currently sitting on the toilet. included breakfast is served on a per person basis from 0800 to 1100 on the rooftop and I liked it but I had to ask for it in the first place. breakfast tends to be salty. the house is acoustically open to the neighbours and their kids were quite loud at night time. there is no internet in the lobby, sometimes you have it on the rooftop and guaranteed only in the room. internet had to be topped up by the hotel when their data plan was used up. internet is kind of slow. the common staff is not really versed in English but the owner is. the toilet flush in the room had a broken technical design - they showed me I had to take off the cover and press a button to make the toilet flush. generally I thought there was construction work nearby ... because there is a recurring dark noise that you can hear throughout the building and in your room ... but it is actually the the elevator motor which is placed on the upper platform of the rooftop ... whenever the elevator moves - the platform vibrates and makes that loud noise - 3 months ago they had installed an elevator ... now they ordered an inverter to eliminate the noise and make it silent in the future

Die Personal sind sehr lieb und hilfsbereit war voll schön

Excellent breakfast, beautiful roof

No stairs only elevators which is risky in case of emergency exit

Great roof terrace with restaurant - basic but nice light breakfast- amazing view of the pyramids- staff all very friendly and polite, helpful

Overpriced trips and tours offered

The view from the roof and room was amazing, staff doing great, but ypu have to tell the reception if ypu need room service. They offer a good variety of breakfast. Also big thanks to Mr Ali & Samar for their kindness & hospitality

The internet wasn't working but they fixed it within 30 minutes, they didn't refill the minibar when I asked for room service. Overall was great stay at this hotel

The view from the terrace is pretty good

The staff was trying to oversell us stuff, the bathroom toilet seats were broken

Bathroom was flooded. Charging for tea for breakfast. Wifi was out of service for one week and we couldn’t connect to the internet.

Breakfast was same every day and the amount was not enough for all customers. Charging for tea on breakfast time. Wifi very poor also wasn’t available for 8 day because the router was broken. Very bad smell. Bathroom flooded when having showers.

Samar is an exceptional host and always took care of our needs. She is a delightful host and made our stay very comfortable. Facilities were very good and we were happy with our stay.

The bed sheets were clean

The entrance and hallway dirty and bad smell ! The room we booked was supposed to be 60sqm but it just had broken wardrobe and single bed and double bed which were not comfy at all , the bathroom constantly leaking water everywhere , it just made you feel even more dirty ! The drain was not letting water down ! Overall we left early as really not satisfied this room is not like in the photos or as described I think our room less than 20sqm which for a family wasn’t big enough !

🫠😉very nice 👌 very good

Everything

Reliable and people that u can trust

No thing really

‏ The rooms are not clean and are not cleaned daily , The towel was not changed and when I asked to change it, it was replaced with unclean towels. The bed sheet was not changed. There is no elevator and the stairs are difficult. I am surprised that it is four stars.

Nice location, respectful and friendly staff, I liked the hotel because of the behavior of the staff and workers and their cooperation with the guests .

The bathroom needs some plumbing work because the shower water does not drained and remains on the bathroom floor for about an hour until it drains, while the bathroom floor continues to be wet all the thime , this happened in our room but I don’t know about the other rooms , but still I recommend this Hotel.

It was a good stay

They were very attentive to everything we needed, they helped us with everything, the views are beautiful, they have air conditioning that works very well

improve breakfast

Excellent service and god part is that it is very near to pyramids. Plus point is roof top view of pyramids while enjoying breakfast. They treat the guest as their family member.

Idont like anything there is. Bad hotel

The location of the hotel is very bad, the food is very bad, and the electricity goes out every once in a while. The children cry from fever throughout the power and water outages, and the person in charge of the hotel is very poorly treated. His name is Islam. Our reservation was only 8 days old. We could not stay for more than 3 days and changed the hotel to a hotel. Second. Unfortunately, my children and I did not enjoy this bad place

I don't like. Any thing en this. Hotel feel like. The. Scam me really 5 star if I'm. I never give 1 star

I highly recommend this hotel! It was great to be so close to Gizas’s Pyramids and have a little break from the centre of the city. You can take a taxi and be in 15-20 min in the center. The rooftop has amazing views and it’s perfect to relax and enjoy the buffet they offer for breakfast and a great dinner with the sunset above the pyramids. The room was clean, big and and with all the facilities, also a mini fridge. The stuff and the owner they are so kind, especially Eslam who was taking care of me during my stay in order to feel 100% secure and checking if any help was needed.

It’s a new hotel so they are still working in some areas. But doesn’t affect to the rooms or common areas.

The staff was so friendly my family felt really well and comfortable.

The view from the top was absolutely beautiful. They were very nice and allowed us to check in prior to our check in time , Most of the staff were very nice, except for one person who was inexplicably rude when I asked a few questions about the local area. The breakfast operates on a first-come, first-served basis, with limited quantities: just 5 slices each of cheese, tomato, labneh, and what seemed to be mortadella. This small amount was meant for everyone to share, which was clearly insufficient. When we requested more for my brothers who were still asleep, our request was ignored. While the food was delicious, the portions were too small, so it's best to arrive early. There was construction inside, and you could hear all the noise. However, overall, for its price, it was really good. There were no electricity cuts, the majority of the staff were nice, and the beds were very comfortable.

Regarding breakfast, can you please add more food for everyone and ensure there are possibilities for refills? Thank you.

The staff is so welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect and the rooms are very nice and clean.

New building and very nice, super friendly staff

The beds were comfortable and staff good with children.

Renovations taking place for 5 out of 6 days there. Very noisy and dusty. My eldest is asthmatic so this was affecting him greatly. Breakfast did not come with fruit, like the picture suggested. There is a corner shop nearby. Some of the staff charged 6x the price because we are tourists. I advise you walk further down the street to more honest vendors.

Staff was very friendly and helped us a lot. Room was neat and clean. Prize was very good too. The location was fantastic and we enjoyed a lot the view of the pyramids.

Breakfast was kind of poor, but we can’t really complain since it was free.

Reasonable rates with good location

AC needs service. It only work if you let it run for hours and I even changed my room due to this but no difference .There is no electricity backup.Electricity isn’t available for hours in Egypt as a routine but this hotel doesn’t have any backup generator.Upon asking they said generator is in repair shop and will come in a while but in my 4 days stay it never came

Delivers on its promises! I booked a room with a pyramids view. Below are pictures of the view from my room as well as from the rooftop morning breakfast. Location is great, a short drive from the Giza Necropolis Main Entrance. Staff is friendly and helpful, and the pizza I got from the kitchen was really good!

Shower head was broken

Breakfast was good. Normal one but it's a buffet.

Rooms not offering the items in the app. The electric kettle is not working. The chair was broken. The iron box was in the list I booked but I didn't get one. Try to appoint a receptionist who speaks English. I spent an hour understanding them with Google Translate for an early checkout. Also they didn't show the outer view of the hotel in any website

Great atmosphere, in house restaurant and cafe.

No elevator

Rooms are clean and nice.Great value to money.Breakfast has just one item everyday so if you are planning to stay for longer time so you will get bored.Electricity is an issue in Egypt and during my 5 days stay their generator was not there and I was repeatedly told that its in repair shop which never came .However when I asked them to change the room because AC was suboptimal so they did. They can just manage this generator issue otherwise it’s a great value to money.I believe AC too need regular servicing. This place doesn’t has lift so if you have mobility issues so this place is not for you as all the rooms are on 1st and 2nd flood

No electricity shortage backup

Near the pyramid and the employees are very friendly

Staff was friendly

The included breakfast was coffee and a bunch of food laid on a table out in hot air, that was very unsanitary. And of course we didn't eat a thing.

The View is Perfection. Beyond my expectation. 😍🤩

No Elevator and any time of the day expect to have no electricity for a few minutes.

Excellent Staff mainly, location, view, safety & breakfast.

Its clean, ventilation available, air conditioning perfect, all stuffs provided as required like water, soap, shampoo towel etc

Amazing stay! super kind personal!

Really good location and view of the pyramids from the bedroom was a plus. Showers and toilet were also good.

Breakfast was very poor and had lack of food options, and just ended up getting snacks from outside. Also the pillows were not completely clean.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly

The stay here was really good, very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly, especially Adil. We had checked out and they let us sit in the lounge for a long time.

Nice terrace view. Piramid at Giza Food is nice

Electricity unstable. No lift

The staff was very helpful throughout. They let us do a late check-out without any charges and the apt was clean as well. It was a peaceful stay.

The noise from the main road and aircon is a little loud during the night.

They chraged me extra 600EGP for for extra 2 HOURS. I didn’t like it

Nice staff work in a hotel

The staff was really helpful Mr Ali did the best, the breakfast was good and fresh.

The noise unfortunately if you are sensitive to the noise ask for quite room, the children from the neighbors playing on the street it'll near 12, so if you came tired to rest this is what happens.

stunning views of pyramids from delightful bedouin style roof terrace that is all lit up at night simple buffet breakfast served outside spacious clean rooms and pleasing reception area friendly staff thanks to you all a really cool place

This is a very amazing and beautiful place and there is a good person named Bakkar who is
