Reviewed Aug 23, 2026Beautiful surroundings, nice round pool, decent breakfast. There is a bench outside the room. We prepared our dinner with provisions bought from a medium-sized supermarket 5km away.
No kettle in the room to make a cup of tea in the evening. A small cooler would have been nice as well. You need a car.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026The view, the feeling and decoration of the place is incredible. The workers were kind and attentive. Totally worth it to unwind and enjoy nature.
The breakfast was just ok. Little variety and the coffee was instant coffee. I think they can improve this to be a 10/10 experience. Also, we found a couple of spiders in the bedroom, one of them big. This is difficult to avoid considering you're in nature, but could be improved I think.

Reviewed Jul 4, 2026The breakfast was lovely, the views were stunning, the area by the pool was great for our group to socialise, the hotel manager was kind and helpful, the rooms were large! It felt peaceful and comforting. The Aircon was good as well!
The toilet sometimes had issues with filling and flushing and also continuous running. I managed to solve this by intermittently turning off the flow into the cistern, but it might be something that someone else would struggle with. The inside of the wardrobe had clearly had some previous water damage.

Reviewed Jan 15, 2026Schitterend verblijf in de mooie streek rondom de Douro. De accomodatie was idyllisch en de uitzichten waren geweldig. Nuno was een prettige host die fijn met ons mee dacht. Het ontbijt was lekker. De kamer was simpel maar uitgerust met alles wat je nodig hebt in een hotelkamer. Bed was naar onze smaak wat te zacht, maar dat is natuurlijk persoonlijke voorkeur. In de omgeving zijn restaurants en een supermarkt. Heel erg genoten van ons verblijf!

Reviewed Aug 20, 2025Le lieu est magnifique, caché sur les hauteurs du Douro. Les chambres bien équipées dans le style rustique. La maison principale est un lieu commun où l'on peut prendre le petit déjeuner, se faire un café, faire un billard etc...Nuno qui nous accueille est charmant et vous donnera de bons conseils. Le petit déjeuner est très correct. La pisicne au centre de la Quinta est bienvenue pour se rafraichir. Vous pouvez faire un pic-nique si vous avez prévu quelques victuailles au village. Sinon un bon restaurant italien pas très loin.
Un peu loin de tout et la voiture est obligatoire mais la vue est à ce prix. Parking gratuit mais ça grimpe.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2025Adoramos a calma e tranquilidade do alojamento. Fomos muito bem recebidos. Os quartos são simples e confortáveis. As áreas comuns são muito bonitas e poder ter acesso às mesmas sem restrições e com total confiança do anfitrião é uma mais valia. O jardim e a vista são lindíssimos e a piscina maravilhosa. O pequeno almoço é simples mas delicioso, tem o essencial para começar bem o dia. Uma casa com muita história, adoramos a experiência e recomendamos muito.
A pressão da água no wc pode ser melhorada mas compreende-se tendo em conta a antiguidade da construção.

Le lieu est très bien entretenu, très beau jardin, vraiment magnifique, nous avons vraiment tout apprécié, le bar, la salle de jeu, la salle à manger, la piscine, la petite Chapelle, les chambres climatisées, literies confortables, le petit-déjeuner était parfait avec les fruits de saison....séjour un peu trop court, nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps, il est certain, nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Merci pour tout Nuno d'avoir rendu notre séjour très agréable...

Территория не очень большая, но всего хватает и красивые общие место в одном из зданий кинты. Открыта старинная часовня. Для гостей охлажденные напитки: вода, пиво вино (это за деньги) и бесплатный джин и акварденте. Нас принял Нуно, который чудесно все рассказал и пказал

Reviewed Jul 5, 2025Breakfast was basic but fine. Location was perfect to our wedding across the road. Be prepared for hills and cobbles. Not suitable for anyone with a disability or the elderly. The manager was so so helpful. Beautiful little garden area and pool. Air conditioning was great as it was so hot when we were there.
There is nothing near by. Too many hills and steps. Liked the location to our wedding but too far away from anything: not suitable for children. Bring supplies.

Reviewed May 14, 2025Such a beautiful property. Pictures don't do it justice. Spacious room and comfy bed. A/C heat pump in room. Nuno the host was friendly and helpful. Simple breakfast of croissants, rolls, bread, fruit, cereals, and sliced ham and cheese; orange juice and coffee too.
The bathroom fixtures are dated, but the new owner is planning on updating those facilities.

Le jardin est un vrai plus et la vue est magnifique. C’est un endroit où l’on peut profiter du calme et la nature. Nuno est un super hôte, accueillant, bienveillant et à l’écoute. Embora o local seja antigo e mantenha a sua história, isso não deveria implicar em falta de higiene. A minha habitação, assim como as áreas comuns, estavam bastante empoeiradas e sujas. Em especial, a cama onde pernoitei estava infestada de pequenos insetos que surgiam das paredes, dos lençóis e da mesa de cabeceira, o que me forçou a dormir de cabeça para os pés. Com um pouco mais de atenção à limpeza, o local poderia ser verdadeiramente impecável.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2024A Quinta é muito calma e muito bonita, ideal para desligar e descansar. O Nuno foi cinco estrelas na recepção e no acompanhamento da estadia. Achei muito simpático da parte dos anfitriões terem café à descrição na zona comum. O quarto é amplo, com uma casa de banho modesta (diria que seria um dos aspectos que recomendaria melhorar). A envolvente (localidade de Resende) não tem grandes atracções mas pessoalmente não me importei porque demos prioridade ao sossego e descanso.
Melhoria, como já disse, a casa de banho e, reforçaria o pequeno-almoço colocando, por exemplo, opções para intolerantes à lactose e café.
