Reviewed Sep 7, 2026I’m writing this to help anybody that might stumble onto this place. This was the worst stay in my 10 years of using any app for finding a place to stay. It’s not even just the conditions but what I consider inhumane treatment. My room wasn’t great but that was fine but the place had zero, and I mean zero soundproofing and my room was facing a busy street with a bar nearby. It was literally like staying outside. It was extremely uncomfortable to stay in the apartment. This was already bad but the worst part is how the staff absolutely avoided me when I merely wanted to ask if they had another room. I went to their offices and they clearly recognised from the door camera. So no matter how much I knocked or rang the doorbell the staff refused to open the door or even engage me as a human being who payed to stay at their hostel. I could clearly hear that there were people on the other side, from doors closing to walking and even talking but they refused to even acknowledge me. Later I received a cold message through booking stating there were no more rooms and that it would be quieter after midnight. An absolute nightmare of a stay. I immediately grabbed my things and went to another place. If you care about your wellbeing and being treated like a human being, please choose somewhere else to stay.

Llegamos al hostal sobre las 21h para hacer el check-in. Al llegar nos dicen que nuestra habitación ya había hecho check-in por la mañana cuando es imposible porque ninguno de nosotros había llegado al hostal. Lo hablaron entre ellos y se ve que le hicieron check-in a otros clientes pensando que eran nosotros, después estos se fueron sin decir nada y pues vendieron la habitación. Se dieron cuenta porque en la hoja de registro de viajero ninguno de los cardex/documento coincidía con mi nombre. Encima en medio de todo esto estaban viendo un partido y cuando metieron un gol dijeron “ay tenemos que ir a ver el gol si no tenéis habitación da igual”, NADA PROFESIONAL, volvieron y la chica que se había equivocado al hacer check-in a los de la mañana dijo “es que los de esta mañana eran coreanos y estos son chinos” y ni siquiera se disculpó por SU ERROR, trato al cliente pésimo. Como nuestra habitación estaba vendida nos dieron otra habitación que no era la que habíamos reservado pero no tenía ni aire acondicionado, la TV no funcionaba y ni siquiera iba el Wifi porque era en el sótano. No ofrecieron ni compensación. PÉSIMO TODO. Encima la habitación que nos ofrecieron había polvo por donde la cama, sábanas manchadas y cosas rotas.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026The lady that welcomed us was kind and we managed to communicate the details of our stay despite the language barrier. Good: - location (close to Prado museum) - WIFI - A/C - smart TV - the bathroom has a window - spacious shower - luggage storage after check-out
- pricey for what it offers (127€ per night) - small-it wasn't what we booked here, us two didn't need a room with an extra bed, it just took up space (we booked the double room and this wasn't what we have seen in the photos, nobody informed us) - no sound isolation inside and by that I mean the rooms were along one hallway that had its own door and we were in a room next to it so every time someone went to their room you could hear them and the doors. Plus extra noisy guests/tenants on the upper floor(their kids stomping and yelling throughout the majority of the day definitely ruined our stay) *earplugs saved us at least at night - room doors made squeaky sound a bit - no propper bathroom door(it's a sliding one) Good & bad: - windows are blurred so there's not much natural light, should be blurred just in the bathroom and in the bedroom light curtains should be enough for privacy when needed :)

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026Me sorprendió gratamente, más tratándose de un hostal en pleno Madrid. Habitación para 3 personas amplia, con espacio suficiente para dejar el equipaje; baño amplio y limpio. Muy bien ubicado, a 5 minutos del Museo del Prado y de Atocha. Me sorprendió también que siendo un hostal se pudieran dejar las maletas el día de salida y sin ningún coste.
Lo único malo es que se oía absolutamente todo lo del pasillo: la gente entrando, el personal de limpieza, etc. Además, una de las noches se oía a través del patio de luces un ruido bastante molesto, parecía de las máquinas del aire acondicionado. No obstante, todo esto se soluciona con tapones.

Desde la habitación no se escuchaba ningún ruido, ni de la calle ni de las otras habitaciones. Aunque sea hostal no le tiene nada que envidiar a un hotel. Relación calidad-precio buena. Y la ubicación inmejorable. Cuando volvamos a Madrid sin duda volveremos a alojarnos allí!!
No hay nada que no gustara. No se le puede poner ninguna pega porque simplemente es genial!

The room was spacious, clean and a bit stylish too. The bathroom was just the right size for me. The staff were very nice and friendly. The mayordoma/Mgr. was very nice too and very welcoming. For the price I paid, I think I found a gem in the city. (definitely commendable and I see myself staying there again should I return to Madrid.

The room initially had a smell of cigarette smoke. It went away after a while or we just got used to it. The bathroom had a musty smell and after shower it turned into a smell almost like sewer smell.
