Riad Fez Qamar

Booked for a night but stayed for two. Very nice riad in the madina. Close distance to public parking was a plus. Nice rooftop and delicious breakfast.

Not a big deal but the room didn't have a window.

Exceeded the expectations. Everything was soo good. The People, the Room, the breakfast and dinner everything was soo good ! 10/10 would recommend this - location wise

Absolutely nothing

The terrace not only is a great view, but also a good place to meet and hang out with other travellers. The breakfast was excellent as well.The owners were helpful for anything you need.

This is likely the best place l've ever stayed. I've never felt as peaceful as I did during my time here-it was spotless, beautiful, and incredibly quiet. The staff was warm and welcoming!

The Riad is located in the medina. Rooms were clean and spacious and the staff were great! Thank you Omar and Mohammed for all your help - especially Omar for helping with our heavy luggage.

Everything was excellent except the bathroom had a very strong and damp/musty smell and maybe the drainage needs a clean out?

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, cannot fault them at all. The Riad was also kept clean and welcoming at all times.

We are a family with young children, and unfortunately the ladders to the bunk beds were not attached. They slipped a few times on the tiles and was a bit dangerous. Also, while there is food available at the property, they need notice for it (otherwise you’re waiting a long time) and the prices are steep compared to other options elsewhere. In general, we found food prices in the medina to be high, but it was the highest at our Riad. Unfortunately, the Riad is also located quite far from bab bujlud where there are many more food options. It’s important to look at the location carefully as it’s not easy to walk to that end late at night. In the facilities mentioned, we were expecting the option to make tea and coffee etc for free with access to a kettle, but this was not the case. All in all, it’s a good option for a couple of nights, but not the best for a longer stay.

We loved the staff, Muhammad in particular was the sweetest we got to meet during our trip, he always had a kind word and useful tips to give us. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and kind. The terrace was super agreeable, and the Riad itself felt authentic and beautiful.

A gluten free breakfast was offered upon booking, but not available at the property.

Central to key locations in Fez. Helpful staff, rather unique/quirky decor evoking a real sense of history. Good value

The hospitality

Bathroom was a little small but for a building from 1327AD you’re being nit picky

The staff was amazing, most hospitable. They helped us with our luggage and walked us to different restaurant so we would not get lost. Fabulous room, excellent service, and close to everything! The most remarkable part is that I left my jacket in a taxi aster leaving on the train for Marakesh, and the owner found it arranged to send it to me in Marrakesh. BEST HOSPITALITY!

It was a beautiful Riad in a very convenient spot. The staff were all lovely and extremely helpful finding your way around and arranging transfers / guides on your behalf.

One of the best Riads I’ve been to, the atmosphere is very cozy and calm, rooms are clean and comfortable, the terrace rooftop is a sight to behold and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful they make you feel very welcomed. I would definitely recommend trying the food here, it’s freshly made with reasonable prices and generous portions. Definitely worth the price, I’ll be coming back on my next visit for sure.

The very warm welcome provided by Aymen, who shared Iftar with us, a very special experience. We liked the beautiful restored Riad with its ornate tiling.

Everything was really perfect and as I was expected The room was big and clean and the hot water is available 24 h , the heater was very helpful during my night there The staff are speaking a lot of languages and help you to feel comfortable, they gives us a welcoming atmosphere and tea !!
