Gimpo JK Hotel

Lo que más me gustó del alojamiento fue el servicio del personal. Son muy amables, te explican todo muy bien y están disponibles para ayudarte en lo que necesites. Lo mejor del hotel, sin duda, es la bañera, además de su ubicación. Está muy cerca de la estación y también de muchos bares y restaurantes, por lo que resulta muy cómodo para moverse y disfrutar de la zona.

Friendly and helpful staff. Owner speaks English well for those who aren’t familiar with Korean. The rooms are super spacious with a massive TV, desktop for gamers, and a bidet in the toilet. They offer free ramen and light snacks and coffee/tea. The hotel is surrounded by eateries and GS/CU stores. Walking distance about 8mins to Gurae train station (Gold line). Easy to get to Gimpo/Seoul stations. If you’re going to Kintex/Goyang, I suggest Taci/Uber (20mins max). If taking train, you’ll need to “transit” Gimpo airport line. After concerts, pls arrange a car/Uber/taxi to pick up from Daehwa station exit 2.

The rooms are excellent guys.. The hotel area also surrounded by restaurants and many convenience stores.

It was clean and comfortable.

I thought it was closer to the airport than it was 40 mins by train and far away from the tourist area of Seoul up to 3 hrs

Staffs were very nice, great location and comfortable.

We booked 3 rooms, we arrived early and we were allowed to check in to two of the rooms which was greatly appreciated. Location is a short walk from train and bus stations as well as restaurants, cafes and shopping. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The entrance was a little hard to locate. The computer in my room was very noisy and the screen wouldn't go to sleep. I ended up shutting it down.

On a positive note, the room was quiet with no noticeable noise, and the heating system worked quietly and comfortably, allowing me to sleep well.

I booked a Deluxe Room mainly for the bathtub, but I was initially assigned a Standard Room with only a shower. After contacting the front desk, I was moved to another room; however, that room had a very strong cigarette smell, so I had to request another change. Unfortunately, the third room also still had some cigarette odor. In addition, the furniture such as the table and chairs looked quite worn, the silicone around the bathtub was coming apart, and I found a long hair in the sink, which was disappointing in terms of cleanliness.

In the hotel in self everything was great, clean, a very confortable bed, big room, free water and ice; outside a lot of restaurants and stores around, public transportation at 4 and 10min (bus and subway), in the night with more movement but not noisy

Maybe the distance to Seoul or popular tourist places but I knew it before the reservation so no problem at all

I stayed here to attend a concert at Goyang stadium. This hotel is amazing. The staff were kind and so helpful. The nightlife in Gimpo was great and had some amazing food. If you have a chance, stay at the JK hotel and enjoy the City of Gimpo. Did I mention the massage chair, computer you can use, and Netflix. This is a must stay!

Absolutely nothing!

Great location for one nights stay. Beds are comfortable. Room was a great size, with en-suite which was also a great size and perfectly clean. Hair appliances such as hair dryer and hair straighteners were much appreciated. Balcony which is also generous in size and very clean.

Can be hard to find. You will think you are entering a commercial building. Not very clean on the ground floor / entrance however lift works quickly and takes you to the reception area where you are greeted gracefully by staff. Delivery drivers and other off site guests can also access this area incase this is something you are weary about. We much prefer private access using key cards however this couldn’t be helped in this case.

I was really surprised to find a balcony in the room; I don't remember it being in the description. The massage chair was fantastic, and the spa bathtub was too, even though I'm too short to enjoy it fully 😉. It was one of the biggest rooms I have ever stayed in, very comfortable. Very nice location when staying at Gimpo. The area has many restaurants and is very lively.

It's not a hotel issue, but for travelers without a phone number, you cannot use the TV apps because they require downloading an app, which requires a phone number to link your phone to the TV (for Netflix, for example). YouTube and regular TV are available. I needed to work and needed background noise. The balcony/terrace was great, but I found cigarette butts in the wood interstices. Maybe the room walls could be cleaner. But overall, the room was really great and clean.

Good value for a nice hotel and in a great location w/ lots of restaurants, leisure activities and markets. It’s about a 10 min walk from the closest subway station. The reception is also very kind and helpful!

We had mold in our shower.

The receptionist Benjamin was wonderful, he made our first few days in Korea seamless and very comfortable. He gave us lots of good information on the local spots and spoke impeccable English

It was a bit far from downtown Seoul but the location of the hotel itself is great, has everything you need around it

Well located. You have restaurants and supermarkets around the corner. Lovely room and very helpful service speaking perfectly English.

Hotel staff were very friendly. The man at the front desk spoke English well and was very kind. They made my first day in Korea seamless. Room clean and internet was super fast.

The JK Hotel is the best hotel near Gurae Station...which is just 5 minutes walk in a pedestrian zone. The hotel offers comfortable quiet rooms that are very well equipped. Some rooms have a balcony. The staff was great and spoke English and took special care of my wife while I was out on business during the day. Thank you to Benjamin and the other staff members!
