Eco Rice Fields House Sapa

Our stay at Eco Rice Fields was nothing short of fantastic. The rooms were immaculate and the beds comfy. The family was amazing, always there to help and give you advice on walks/things to do/how to get to places. No faults from us!

the owners of this homestay are SO kind and very helpful. the dinner on property is a must, and costs 125k/person I believe. the portions were huge and food was really delicious. the rooms were also very nice , but bugs can get in easily so just be mindful of mosquitos !

The Family was super kind just as all the other guests I met there. The family cooked delicious food and all the guests ate togethere like a big family. I made some of my best memories there and would come back anyday. I would recommend this to everyone who wants a real Sapa experience and especially to solo travlers.

I liked everything but you have to be aware that this is not a hotel, you come here to connect with the local family and other guests. The rooms are good but just not the comfort you'd get in a fancy place which I was totally fine with.

Beautiful, peaceful home with wonderful hosts. Very clean and spacious. Beautiful view and you can watch the paragliders land in the field near the home. Hosts are willing to help with any arrangements you need. Host husband led me on a very nice trekking adventure. My flights were delayed so I arrived at midnight, much later than planned, and they waited up to welcome me with a cup of tea. I do highly recommend to other guests arriving during the day if possible because your transportation will have to let you off on the road and you will walk up an unlit city path that has a drop off in places. Thank you for being great hosts and providing this beautiful oasis.

Loved everything. If possible, it would be nice to have a sign on the path pointing to the direction of the homestay but may not he possible. Totally my fault for getting there in the dark.

A warm, inviting homestay with wonderful hosts. The private tours are so good. The dinner every evening was amazing. The location is also good, located between rice fields and surrounded by nature and beautiful views.

The beds can be a bit hard.

Escriptura Ressenya Vam reservar inicialment només una nit, però l’habitació ens va agradar tant —neta, espaiosa, agradable i amb un lavabo nou i molt net— que vam decidir allargar l’estada. Els propietaris, la Sisi i el seu marit, són encantadors i molt atents. Un exemple: vam agafar una habitació amb dos llits i, com que no hi havia disponible una amb llit gran, ens van proposar ajuntar-los. L’endemà, per iniciativa seva, ens van canviar els llençols i ens van preparar el llit amb un llençol gran i un petit matalàs perquè no es notés la separació. Un detall que ens va sorprendre molt gratament. També vam demanar al propietari que ens recomanés algun restaurant per dinar i va ser tot un encert: molt bona recomanació! Com a extra, vam fer una excursió de 15 km i 600 m de desnivell amb la Sisi. Vam passar per arrossars, una cascada, boscos de bambú, camins i poblats que probablement sols no hauríem descobert ni ens hauríem atrevit a recórrer. La Sisi va estar sempre molt atenta. L’últim dia, com que no teníem el bus fins a Sapa fins a les 21 h, vam preguntar si podíem allargar l’estada unes hores pagant un extra. Ens van dir que sí, però finalment, a l’hora de pagar, ens van dir que no ens ho cobrarien. Ho vam voler agrair amb una propina, que fins i tot els va costar acceptar. L’esmorzar és molt abundant: ous, frankfurt, pa de motlle, pancakes tipus crep i fruita. També ofereixen una ampolleta d’aigua de 600 ml i sempre t’ofereixen te. Vam utilitzar també el servei de bugaderia i tot va anar perfectament. L’allotjament està en un entorn molt tranquil i natural, una mica apartat. A uns 400 m hi ha el poble, amb alguns restaurants i botigues locals i de souvenirs. És ideal si busques tranquil·litat i natura, però no tant si busques molt moviment o ambient al voltant. Un lloc molt recomanable, no només per l’entorn, sinó sobretot per l’amabilitat, generositat i atenció dels propietaris.

El menjar de la ruta és correcte però senzill i força orientat a turistes, tot i que és d’agrair que la beguda estigués inclosa. Pel que fa al recorregut, vam fer un petit tram de carretera durant la ruta que potser es podria substituir per alguna alternativa per camins. En tot cas, són aspectes menors i, si tornéssim, repetiríem la ruta igualment, perquè l’experiència en conjunt va ser molt bona. Com a petit suggeriment, afegiria un endoll a l’espai exterior, sempre que es pugui fer sense trencar l’estètica del bungalow. Podria ser pràctic si vols treballar amb l’ordinador o utilitzar el bullidor que ofereixen amb te i cafè. Tot i així, no ha estat cap inconvenient important, ja que l’espai exterior és molt agradable i s’hi està molt bé.

Perfect! The bungalows are very nice, in the middle of the rice fields. The host family is amazing, very arranging and very nice. Good breakfast. We have recommended this place to many people during our trip in Vietnam

Wunderschöne Lage bei einer super freundlichen, kleinen Familie inmitten der Reisfelder im Tal. Das Haus ist vollkommen aus Holz und sehr schön.

Es ist hellhörig und an heißen Tagen fehlt ggf. Eine Klimaanlage.

The hotel is located in a very interesting area. It is a bit secluded, but within a few minutes' walk you can find cafés and restaurants in town. The bungalow is clean and well maintained, with a distinctive wood aroma that adds to the atmosphere and makes stepping out into the courtyard in the morning feel even more special.

The best view and stay is eco rice field that too in our budget. It was leisurely and relaxing. The hoat was friendly and joyful. Host helped us to reach main road

the distance from sapa center was long and the location is roo remote one way. so we skipped our night plan to return to the stay safe on time. Except that i felt everything comfortable.

Mr Do and his family are very kind and hospitable. the structure is located in the middle of the rice fields and I liked this a lot. There is a lot of peace, tranquility and good vibes here. Restaurants, cafes and a grocery store can be reached within a few minutes' walk you can take beautiful walks to admire the view and the rice fields I took the motorcycle tour with Mr. Do and I liked it. It's simple and reasonably priced. I would definitely come back here for more days!

В номере нет кондиционера/вентилятора, но в прохладной Сапе - это не так важно, спать комфортно и без них

Parfait, extrêmement confortable avec le lit chauffant et la salle de bain privée, la terrasse privée et les énormes baies vitrées qui donnent le ressenti d’être à l’extérieur même depuis l’intérieur. C’était parfait, si nous pouvions nous y serions restés plus que 2 nuits !

Peut être que la vue aurait été mieux sans les maisonnettes en face, mais franchement cela ne nous a pas dérangé du tout !

Un lieu magnifique au milieu des rizières, une famille adorable et à l'écoute de tout nos besoins! Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour auprès de la famille, peut-être même trop court ! Merci pour tout, nous en garderons un souvenir précieux ! À bientôt nous l'espérons !

PARFAIT !! Notre meilleur logement actuellement en 2 mois de voyage en Asie. Le Bungalow est trop mignon, tout est beau dedans et il est grand. Les hôtes passent dans le bungalow tous les matins pour refaire les lits et changer les serviettes et nous donner une bouteille d'eau. Le petit-déjeuner compris dedans est complet et fait maison ! Oeufs au plat avec pains, fruits frais, café... Nous avons aussi fait le trek avec la dame de l'hôte, très gentille qui connaît Sapa parfaitement car elle est naît ici. Le couple est attentionné et adorable, leur petit garçon aussi. On a même eu un bracelet souvenir au départ 🥹 Le rapport qualité prix est inégalable ! MERCI BEAUCOUP 😍

Nous avons tout apprécié ! Il est juste bon à savoir que le logement est au cœur des rizières, soit à 20min du centre ville, il faut louer un scooter. Mais quelle liberté et bonheur ce lieu !!

The self contained bungalows are absolutely gorgeous! Loved my 2 night stay here & would definitely return!

The location isn't clearly advertised & myself & the grab driver were unaware that a short walk is required so we went quite far past the property before doubling back & him telling me to walk the rest of the way.

Amazing hosts! Went above and beyond to make sure my stay was blissful. Had a really good time staying here. They are so kind and helpful! The breakfast was fabulous.

The family who run this are such nice people. Get the breakfast included option! The breakfast is so tasty and plentiful every morning. I loved waking up to the rice fields and looking up at the mountain. It’s quiet, there’s villages a short walk away with great restaurant options. The trek to Sapa is quite long but what better way to see the countryside? The accomodation itself is beautiful with a thatched roof and large bathroom. We really enjoyed our time here.

Accueil Situation : 6 kms du centre ville de sapa en pleine nature. Si vous arrivez par le bus HK ou sapa express. Demandez à la homestay de réserver pour vous un taxi. Car à 7 heures du matin, la course coûte cher 350K car nous sommes captifs. Nourriture : Bon petit déjeuner, eau et thé à volonté Activité : Possibilité de faire une marche dans les rizières et les villages avoisinants avec le propriétaire. Hébergement : propre, matelas confortable et chauffant

Pas de vrai café. Villageois très tenaces pour essayer de nous vendre des souvenirs. Certains fait à la main mais pour d’autre de gros doutes sur l’authenticité

Le personnel est adorable, ambiance très familial, le lieu est tellement paisible rien à redire. Le dortoir est très sympa, les lits chauffants, et le petit déjeuner absolument incroyable ! Nous avons étendu notre séjour, ce lieu est génial.

A place / location for R&R, Surrounded by mountains / natures. And if you are there at the right time to see the rice fields terrace maturing…wow. Owners are a young friendly couple with three (self entertaining) children. Owner can also set you up with the taxi service as needed, since the property is a bit out of town. Oh, and we were taking the overnight bus to Hà Nội…the owners were nice enough to let us hang around after checking out till the time we wanted to leave.

It was a bit hard to find (no one’s fault)… So here are the directions Take a taxi to ‘Ly Stream’ restaurant in Lao Chai pic 2, pic 1 entrance to the village and the restaurant is at the end of the bridge (we ate there 3 times), And take the walking (motor cycle) path in front of Ly Stream restaurant (2-3 mins walk), Make the first left on the path and the Home Stay is straight ahead (another 20 secs walk), If you see H’Mong Eco House or Nhà Bên Suôi,…you have walked pass it, Eco Rice Fields House is to the left of H’Mong Eco House.

Liked the location and the quietness of the place, the beds are not the comfiest but if you don’t mind a quite hard mattress you will love your stay here.

I stayed here for 4 nights and had a truly relaxing and memorable experience. This lovely homestay is run by a warm and kind young couple with their three adorable kids. Pros: The location is perfect if you're looking to escape the noise, it's tucked away from the busy town, offering peaceful and quiet nights. Surrounded by stunning rice terraces, waterfalls, streams, and paddy fields, the views are nothing short of breathtaking. Several cafes and local restaurants are within walking distance. The hosts are incredibly friendly, speak good English, and made me feel very welcomed. The home cooked dinners were absolutely delicious and came in generous portion, definitely a highlight of my stay. Suggestions: The homestay was a bit tricky to find at first due to the lack of clear signage. Adding a sign at the entrance or along the way would be really helpful for future guests. I was hoping for a shared dinner experience with the hosts and other guests, but it turned out to be more of a private dinner. It would be nice if the communal aspect could be encouraged. Overall, this place is a gem for anyone looking to unwind in nature and experience the beauty of Sapa in a more authentic and serene setting.

The couple who runs this house is so lovely! They were very helpful with transportation, tours, food, laundry. The food was amazing as well and the beds are heated!! Also the location is so nice it’s a bit of a drive from the city but it’s worth it in my opinion!

I would recommend notifying them if you are planning on ordering dinner from them earlier in the day

The hosts were extremely accomodating. I was sick during my stay and they helped me go to the pharmacy. They also arranged a tour with a local guide. The location is quiet and beautiful. Beds are comfortable.

The host family went above and beyond in making my stay comfortable and making me feel welcome, location was perfect if you want peace and quiet and to enjoy the surroundings and hiking. Evening food was exceptional and healthy and the property was very clean, good value for money!

The hosts are the nicest people, always with a smile and very hard working. We stayed for 7 nights and I think it was the right choice to stay here rather than in Sapa city. You can book a taxi to Sapa at the guesthouse or just book a Grab and reach the city within 15-20min. The breakfast was great! They make noodle soup, pancakes, omelet, bread with eggs and fruits. The rooms are cleaned everyday (vacuum included)! It was freezing cold so having an electric mattress to warm us up was great 😃 We were there during Tet (new year) and learned how to make some sticky rice cakes to celebrate. As a bonus we also met other nice travelers while we stayed there. Overall I highly recommend staying here.

Some tips to make this place even better: Having some heating in the breakfast/dinner area. Having the stairs inside the dorm to go downstairs to the bathroom (as per right now the stairs are outside the dorm so we had to go outside every time we needed to use the WC)

Everything about this accommodation was wonderful! The location is incredibly gorgeous, right in the middle of the valley. It's surrounded by a stream, mountains, and lots of wildlife. The hosts are so lovely. They constantly made me feel welcomed and taken care of. Even in the middle of winter, they ensured I never felt too cold. They gave me extra blankets and would turn on my heated mattress pad for me so my bed was already warm. Finally the house itself is just beautiful. It feels modern and rustic at the same time. All the facilities are very clean and work well, and the bed is comfortable. I cannot wait to come back and stay again.

The tranquility in comparison to Sa Pa itself. A really lovely family looked after me really well. Fansipan is still close by and is an amazing adventure. The accommodation has and value for money are excellent.

The house itself is brand new, clean and in a convenient location. It was cold when I arrived and they had a heater under the mattress already on for me. The family with their 3 young kids are super sweet, both the wife and husband are guides so the wife Xi Xi guided me on a walk through the valley the first day and taught me about the local culture and area and the husband Dơ organized for me to hike Fansipan mountain and took me up there my second day, for a better price than I could have gotten elsewhere. He even had a little medal and certificate for me at the top. Dơ was a chef before and the food was very delicious with generous proportions. Xi Xi always prepared a delicious breakfast with and option of soup or eggs and fresh fruit. When I needed to go to Sapa early to catch my bus Dơ took me on the motorbike. All in all a perfect place with wonderful hosts from which to explore the area :)

You should definitely come stay at eco rice field house and the wonderful people are generous hosts. Beautiful views, clean and comfortable bungalows, The highlight was walking through the rice fields and learning more about their culture Hope to come back soon! not too far away

Quiet and in a local village. Beautiful spot even in winter. I imagine In summer it really shines. Everything is new and very lovely. Electric blanket on the bed was a real surprise and made our stay even better. Hangers provided as soon as they realised we needed hanging space. We ate with the owners at the homestay and this was 5 star. Delicious food. Great breakfast. Huge amount. Would love to return

The owners were amazing, very kind and very attentive to our comfort. The family was lovely and quiet. The scenery in the morning was beautiful with a beautiful sunrise for those who got up early. Despite the low temperature they all tried to make us comfortable and they succeeded. The breakfasts were delicious. The trip with the hosts to the mountain villages was amazing and the explanations were very interesting!

Lovely family and beautiful new home stay, built by the family themselves. Being out of Sapa town and amongst the locals was great. Hosts were incredibly accommodating and friendly.

The staff is super efficient and friendly; they helped us a lot with suggestions within Sa Pa and moving around other parts of Vietnam. The room is fantastic, super clean, and spacious, and the bed was one of the most comfortable ones I have ever slept in.

Loved everything about this place. It's rural, set back from the road ... great location near the local village and astounding views of the valley. On top of this.it has the most immaculate amenities... it's a new place. . Bedding was all fresh and clean, comfortable mattresses, shower and facilities all new...beautiful stone. and it still manages to keep the homestay charm. It was very cold in Sapa when we arrived, and the owner appeared with electric blankets to keep us warm. Food was delicious. On the first day I was worried I'd ordered the whole menu by mistake but in fact, they cook a selection of tasty dishes for you to try. The owner used to work as a chef in a hotel. They helped sort out taxis and made sure we paid the right price, advised on walks... all whilst looking after three small children. I mentioned liking mushrooms and though they had run out and the shops had shut the owner still went in hunt of some to add to my dinner,... someone else wanted beer and he disappeared again to find some. This family can't do enough. They are keen for you to be happy and I'm sure if I return here in a month's time they will have devised even more ways of making your experience perfect.

Xi Xi & her husband are lovely & caring. It's located in the valley, surrounded by rice fields, quiet & authentic. Atmosphere is almost magical, and the sort of dormitory upstairs have an old school vibe that gives the place a charm. Hosts are living in the house itself & makes you feel comfortable. Everything was absolutely clean & tidy. Thanks for the stay, it was great.

Highly recommended place. The host and his wife are the kindest persons. The place is beautiful and calm ( 4km from the crowded town , you can easily ask for a moto or taxi if you wanna go there ). They propose very nice treks in the small locals villages around , less touristic. Xixi cooks very well ( soup, rice , vegetables .. you just ask what you like and she’ll make it :). The beds are comfortable, the room super clean.

Facilities are brand new, location is beautiful, calm and very convenient for trekking. The best part is still the local family owning the house. They are very friendly and easy-going. They helped me a lot to organize my hikes and they prepared very nice breakfast and dinner for me.

My friend and I spent the night in the dorm, you can hear the nearby waterfall as you sleep. Such a beautiful setting, only took a 15 min cab drive from Sapa then a short walk down a path. A lovely cute young family. XIxi cooked us a feast for dinner then took us on a 5 hour trek the next day. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcomed in their beautiful house. The lodges look lovely if you want you own space.

The bungalow is very nice, in a beautiful place. If you don't like the busy Sapa this is the perfect place to stay for the night. They are very kind😊

Do and Xi Xi are fantastic hosts. Their homestay is only 2 months old, its a lovely home and is kept very clean. They served a very generously sized dinner of local Vietnamese food each night. They also offered guided walks in the local area for a reasonable price, which included getting to learn about the local culture of the H'mong people.

The homestay is in a stunning location and the facilities are top notch. The hosts were absolutely fantastic, as was their cooking. The views are out of this world, it felt like a dream. Highly recommend this place!

We had a wonderful stay! The host family is impeccable and super sweet. The location of the accommodation is amazing, right in front of the rice fields, offering a peaceful atmosphere. However, it is a bit far from the center, so we recommend renting a motorbike as soon as you arrive to explore the area and also enjoy the local life in Sapa. If you’re vegan, it’s important to inform them in advance, as the breakfast options are quite limited – mostly just fruit and bread. We loved our experience and getting to know this charming place! ✨
