Reviewed Aug 16, 2024The location and the accommodation far exceeded my expectations. I looked out my door straight over to the 12 Bens peaks with water in the foreground. Wild flowers abounded in the fields and along the roads. The cottage was beautifully appointed. It's been recently refurbished and is very comfortable, cosy and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped and everything is good quality. The bed a high standard and very comfortable. Geraldine is a welcoming, warm and highly professional host. I would highly recommend the Island Cottage especially if looking for tranquil and beautiful and Roundstone only about 15 minutes away.
