Nomad inn Tiwi

Tout, nous sommes tombés sur un super manager, un grand monsieur toujours avec le sourire et hyper agréable. Passé l'étape de on vous change d'hôtel car on a des soucis électrique. Nous sommes allé dans l'hôtel frère séparé de 2 km. Le manager nous a laissé le choix de choisir la chambre que l'on souhaitait dons leur chambre VIP avec piscine particulière. Tout au long, il a été aux petits soins, toujours a veiller a notre bien. Et nous avons pris le temps de discuter avec lui et apprendre a mieux le connaître. Bon petit déjeuner, litterie très bonne, propre. Cerise sur le gâteau, il nous a permis de faire le check out a l'heure qui nous convenait même en soirée. Certes pas bcp de client mais super emplacement a proximité de wadi Shab et Wadi Tiwi. Ils ont également un beau jardin.

Das Hotel hat eine super Lage zu den Wadis Shan und Mibam. Kleine Anlage mit 7 Zimmern, einem kleinen Pool und naheliegendem, neueröffnetem Café. Der Hotelmanager Farhan hat uns den Aufenthalt wirklich unvergesslich gemacht! Er war immer für uns da und hat alles möglich gemacht.

L’emplacement est vraiment super, près des différents wadis. L’hôtel est petit, 4 chambres. Son prix est bien trop élevé par rapport aux prestations.

Nous étions seuls avec nos enfants sans autre client. Le personnel était sympathique mais peu enthousiaste à notre venue! De plus, la climatisation ne fonctionnait plus en pleine nuit sans que le personnel ne puisse intervenir… le lendemain travaux au marteau piqueur a 9h00….. bref difficile. La direction n’a pas voulu nous faire une remise! Pour finir, bel hôtel, bel endroit mais pas accueillant!!

We got such a warm welcome when we arrived and the employees there have been incredible friendly from beginning to end. The rooms are very clean & well temperatured, if you go in front of your room, you get a real jungle feeling. - Banana & Papaya Trees, Geckos crawling along the walls and birds singing in most beautiful sounds. They have a nice coffee with a beautiful terrace, where you get pretty good drinks (coffee, smoothies, milkshakes etc.) all day long. You get them in To-go cups so you can enjoy them in your room, at the pool or wherever you like. The pool is small but pretty, really good possibility to refresh. - good water temperature and some sun loungers infront, perfect to read and relax. Delicious Breakfast and dinner buffet. Always fresh fruit and juices, in the evening they’re even grilling meat and veggies. Heaps of otions for vegetarians as well. We definitely would have loved to stay longer!!

Food was homemade, great flavor and a decent variety of options. There is plenty of food as well. Loved the breakfast. The pool is just beautiful. The whole area has a cozy jungle look and feel.

Bathrooms could use a bit better cleaning and even maintenance as the shower was a bit cloughted and the toilet seat cover couldn't remain open.

The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are beautiful, clean, light and airy. Sitting by the pool felt like a little piece of paradise. Breakfast and dinner both fabulous. I’ll definitely stay again.

Der Dome war eins unserer highlights auf der Reise. Geräumige Zimmer, sauber mit Outdoor Dusche und WC umgeben von sehr viel Grün und Vogelgezwitscher. Was will man mehr. Uns hat es gefallen.

We absolutely loved our stay at Nomad inn Tiwi. The location was amazing, the views you have there are indescribable and it is close to wadi shab, truly feels like a dream. The rooms are very tidy and provide everything you need, the presence of a pool is also great. But the thing that really made our stay was the wonderful staff, they provide everything you could possibly need. Both breakfast and dinner were also really nice. We will definitely be back in the future.

Un'oasi di pace in mezzo alla bellezza della natura! Luogo ideale per godere la bellezza suggestiva del wadi. La struttura è armoniosamente integrata nel paesaggio circostante, e mantiene le caratteristiche tipiche delle costruzioni locali. La colazione e la cena vengono servite all'aperto in una bella terrazza, ottima qualità del cibo. Il personale è accogliente e attento. Insomma ho soggiornato solo una notte ma sarei volentieri rimasta più giorni! Complimenti!

Struttura affascinante immersa tra palme da dattero, banani, alberi di mango all’interno del canyon del Tiwi. Il personale é molto accogliente ed i servizi ottimi.

Le dîner et le petit déjeuner étaient délicieux. Le cadre est magnifique, entouré de falaises, avec le wadi tiwi qui passe au pied de l’hôtel et de bananiers. Mais surtout, l’accueil est exceptionnel. Toute l’équipe de l’hôtel est très souriante et fait en sorte que vous passiez le meilleur séjour possible. Amazing stay for those who are looking for staying close to nature, tranquility, and also feeling really welcomed! Hikes of Wadi Tiwi and Wadi Shab is very close, service is outstanding, food is fresh and just spot on! We stayed as a family of 2 and returned there second time. notre hotel préféré lors de notre road trip. en pleine nature juste à coté du wadi Shab, partie récente de l'hotel décorée avec beaucoup de gout, piscine, palmier , petite musique ...un petit coin de paradis. Le diner sous forme de buffet était dans l'ancienne partie de l'hotel, sur une terrasse, superbe ambiance, nourriture excellente.Personnel adorable. Et en plus il y a un petit wadi juste pour les clients de l'hotel

L’endroit est magnifique avec une vue sur les montagnes, entouré de nature et d’arbres. La terrasse du restaurant et le coin piscine sont super agréables. L’accueil était excellent avec Farhan en hôte très sympathique et professionnel! Merci Nomad Inn. On reviendra.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Auto konnten wir gleich unten an der Strasse parkieren und das Gepäck wurde in unser Bungalow gebracht. Dieses war sehr hübsch und mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Ausserhalb vom Bungalow gibt eine Sitzgelegenheit mit Tisch und 2 Stühlen, die zum verweilen einladen. Auch gibt es einen kleinen Pool mit Liegen und viel grün rundherum. Die Pooltücher wurden uns ohne Aufforderung ins Zimmer gelegt. Das Ambiente beim Abendessen war wunderschön

Une pierre précieuse au milieu des palmiers. Le personnel est extrêmement serviable et bienveillant. Les chambres et les extérieurs sont très propre. Le repas buffet du soir était excellent.

Entouré de palmiers à proximité d’un Wadi. Hôtel plein de charme avec seulement quelques chambres. La chambre dôme était magnifique et très confortable. Offrant une belle vue sur les montagnes et la végétation. La salle de douche à l’extérieur offrant un toit ouvert offre une expérience très agréable de prendre sa douche en pleine nature mais à l’abri des regards. Le personnel est adorable et le buffet du soir très bien.

We liked the support from Mr. Khan. With his recommendations we planed an additional trip to Wadi Tiwi. The hotel is exactly at the entrance of the Wadi Tiwi, and is idealic... You wake up with the view of the mountains and the sound of the birds. For the trip to Wadi Tiwi you need mandatory a 4x4 car.

Das Badezimmer roch nach Fäkalien und Schimmel! Die Bettwäsche und die Handtücher waren dreckig. Super Lage, um die Wadis zu erkunden, aber das Nomad Tiwi Alquir, in welches wir umgebucht worden sind, da das Hauptgebäude Nomad Inn Tiwi überbucht war. Alleine das war eine Frechheit! Aber dieser Gestank war so unerträglich, dass wir nach der ersten von zwei Nächten abgereist sind. Die zweite Nacht haben wir immerhin erstattet bekommen. Das Frühstück war dürftig und ein Abendessen ist uns nicht angeboten worden, weswegen wir dazu nichts sagen können. Insgesamt würden wir diese Unterkunft aufgrund dieses furchtbaren Geruchs und der wenigen Sauberkeit im Bad etc. nicht empfehlen.

Everything was thoughtfully prepared to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. And the staff… what an incredible team! They were exceptionally kind, warm, and attentive. They truly made our stay unique and unforgettable. Their hospitality went above and beyond our expectations. Everything about this place was perfect. nichts - wir wurden einfach in eine anders Hotel umgebucht (Nomad Inn Albir), weil es ausgebucht war.

bei ankunft hat uns der manager regelrecht überfahren: das hotel wäre nichts für meine frau, die leicht gehbehindert ist, wir können hier auf keinen fall bleiben, es gehe um die gesundheit meiner frau!, treppen zu steil, unfallgefahr! wir wurden einfach in das Nomad Inn Albir umgebucht und hingefahren. dort stellte sich heraus, dass das gebuchte Nomad Inn Tiwi ausgebucht war. Albir entsprach nicht unseren vorstellungen: kein frühstück auf der dachterasse, kein blick ins wadi, kein restaurant. Zimmer: beim duschen läuft das wasser unter die duschabtrennung und bildet eine große pfütze um die toilette. frühstück: fast nur industrieprodukte - nicht mal frisches brot, dünner filterkaffee bzw. neskaffe, obwohl eine riesige espressomaschine daneben steht (morgens nicht vorgesehen), kein karak -das alles in einem dunklen, nach fäkalien stinkenden garten, für stolze 172 € pro nacht. wir sind mit dem Gefühl von betrug abgereist. gruß an den manager....

L’hôtel est idéalement situé, à proximité des principaux points d’intérêt à visiter, ce qui est très pratique. Nous tenons également à souligner la grande gentillesse du personnel : une équipe adorable, attentionnée et aux petits soins. On sent qu’ils font de leur mieux pour créer une ambiance conviviale et chaleureuse, ce qui est vraiment appréciable. Certaines chambres, quant à elles, ne manquent pas d’originalité...

Malheureusement, notre séjour a été perturbé par une odeur très forte et insupportable dans la chambre. Nous logions dans une sorte de tente igloo (en plastique) et l’odeur était suffocante. Nous avons dû dormir les fenêtres ouvertes, mais malgré cela, il était difficile de la supporter. Nous conseillons de réserver une chambre dans le bâtiment Enfin, la partie restauration est assez simple et mériterait d’être améliorée, notamment en termes de qualité et de choix.

Lovely staff and beautiful room.

The booking was a little misleading - after booking we were told we were going to be staying at their other hotel (nomad inn tiwi albir) but they assured us it was ”only a few metres away” and the two hotels really ”feel like one hotel”. On arrival we learned we had to drive 6 minutes to the other hotel every night for dinner. Not a big deal, but inconvenient if you don’t have a car, and I probably wouldn’t have booked it if I had known from the start. The mattress was also very hard.

Le déclassement dans le Albir, deuxième choix par rapport de Nomad Inn qui lui est bien situé et possède les prestations nettement supérieures. Nous avons été déclassé 2 semaines avant notre arrivée sous prétexte que Nomad Inn était plein alors que nous avons réservé dans cette hôtel en novembre. Très mauvaise politique commerciale. En dédommagement nous avons beaucoup négocié et obtenu la demi-pension gratuite. La douche était bouchée avec les cheveux, les serviettes très usées et la salle de bain est vétuste. La chambre bien décorée, les lits sont bons mais l’espace est petit. Trop cher pour le prix payé. Pas de dîner sur place, il faut faire 3 km pour dîner à Nomad Inn Tawi.

There was a leak in our bedroom toilet which was not fixed during our stay despite of our request The breakfast is equivalent to a budget hotel, well below what you would expect for a place that is more expensive than the Sheraton in Muscat. Lowest quality artificial orange juice money can buy. Fruits are limited to bananas, watermelon and a few pre-cut slices of apples. Plain sliced bread from supermarket. Packaged jam. Few hot dishes left in the cold morning weather were awfully cold. Eggs, cook to order were good. Drip coffee included. Good coffee from a proper espresso machine charged as extras. New section of the hotel is not a short walking distance to a proper hotel restaurant for breakfast or dinner. Good ambience but no special view of the Wadi.

Wir waren im vorderen neuen Teil des Hotels. Es ist ca. 3 min mit dem Auto vom ersten Hotel entfernt. Alles ist noch ziemlich neu, sehr sauber und das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und würden wieder hin fahren.

Das Hotel ist noch ziemlich neu und der Garten ist noch nicht so märchenhaft zugewachsen wie beim ursprünglichen Hotel, zu welchem man zum Abendessen fährt.

Accommodatie gelegen in een prachtige oase, ideale uitvalbasis om Wadi Shab en Wadi Tiwi te bezoeken. De dome waarin we sliepen was proper en gezellig ingericht. Farhan en zijn team waren zeer vriendelijk en stonden paraat bij vragen/verzoeken. Het dinerbuffet was lekker en er was voldoende keuze.

Perfekte Lage für einen Besuch von Wadi Shab und Wadi Tiwi. Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gadtgeber. Abendessen im Hotel war sehr gut (jedoch etwas teuer).

Welcher Handwerker hat die Badezimmer verbrochen? Das ist einfach Pfusch an jeder noch do kleinen Ecke.

Die Lage, nur 5min von wadi shab. Das Personal ist sehr, sehr freundlich. Prinzipiell auch eine gute Unterkunft, allerdings nicht zu dem Preis, wie unter den negativen Punkten aufgeführt.

Die Lage wird ziemlich ausgenutzt, um deutlich übertriebene Preise zu verlangen. Wir haben 83 OMR für ein Zimmer gezahlt, welches so klein war, dass man kaum ums Bett laufen konnte. Wir waren zudem nicht wie erwartet im Haupthaus, sondern wurden alternativlos ins 2 km entfernte Partnerhotel eingecheckt. Sie sagten es sei neu, jedoch handelt es sich unserer Meinung nach um ein bestehendes Hotel, welches renoviert wurde. Das Bad ist alt geblieben. Das Matratze war sehr hart, dass wir uns fragen, ob überhaupt eine Matratze darauf liegt. Das Frühstück war eher einfach.

The location of this hotel is perfect if you are visiting Wadi Tiwi, Wadi Shab, the village or the sea. Farhan made us feel welcomed from the very first moment. He was a shining light during our stay. Always ready with a warm smile and a friendly hello....his hospitality was excellent! All of the other staff we had contact with were genuinely kind and attentive. The property is a true oasis. Nestled in the desert with a lovely pool and lush greenery. We stayed in the last dome up top and it was perfection! It was so quiet and we loved the open roof bathroom....nothing like working on your tan while taking a shower! Inside the dome was clean, the bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the shower water hot. Both the dinner and the breakfast were on site and delicious. We walked away satisfied and appreciated the dishes that were authentic to Oman. Would recommend the Nomad Inn without hesitation. Thank you again to Farhan for making our stay fantastic!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft, sehr bemühtes Personal, Zugang zu privatem Wadi

Frühstück ist ausbaufähig und lag bei dem Preis der Unterkunft unter unseren Erwartungen. Ein Schild in der Zufahrt hätte uns geholfen, die Unterkunft zu finden

Die Lage und Nähe zu Wadi Tiwi oder auch Wadi Shab ist einmalig. Wir hatten einen „Dome“/„Zelt“ auf dem Dach und haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Kommunikation vor der Reise war ebenfalls sehr einfach und angenehm. Wir haben via dem absolut liebenswerten Farhan auch eine geführte Tour ins Wadi Shab gebucht und wir waren sehr froh, so entschieden zu haben. Die Fahrt nach oben war ein Abenteuer und wir hätten diese Strecke nicht selber fahren wollen - aber das muss jeder für sich entscheiden. Die Menschen in Oman sind ja generell sehr freundlich aber im Nomad Inn sind die Mitarbeiter einfach „outstanding“: Farhan war jederzeit für all unsere Fragen da, er hat uns sogar angerufen als wir einmal einen Rucksack im Garten vergessen hatten. Die Staff gibt sich zudem extrem Mühe, alles sauber zu halten. Für uns war auch das nette Caffee ein Highlight mit den vielen Kreationen und Säften. Wir haben auch zweimal Dinner gegessen, ein feines und abwechslungsreiches Buffet - da ich nicht viel Fleisch esse und die Staff das sich gemerkt hat, bekam ich sogar ohne Fragen ein feines Linsen-Dal - diese Aufmerksamkeit ist wirklich bemerkenswert. Für uns war es wie ein nach-Hause-kommen und ich kann diese Unterkunft allen empfehlen auf ihrer Reise durch Oman.

Boutique Style Hotel in nature Style, super friendly staff (special thank to Faran). Nice and fresh food for dinner. Cafe is just great, we loved the coffee variety and my daughter loved the mango juice 😊

A charming place, set among lovely gardens. We had a comfortable room with a wide veranda looking out through the date palms. The staff were very keen to please and there’s a high quality coffee shop open all day. It’s a great location for exploring Wadi Tiwi and nearby Wadi Shab. If you’re a confident driver it’s fine to take a 2WD car right up to the waterfall at Mibam, but go early to avoid other traffic. We were pleased to find that the hotel has good internet. The dinner is fine considering the remote location. Bear in mind that there is often confusion between Wadi Inn Tiwi and the Wadi Inn Tiwi Albir back down nearer the highway. The negative comments in some reviews appear to refer to the other hotel.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang (Wir sind morgens um 9 Uhr angekommen!!). Es wurde sofort ein Ausflug ins Wadi Tiwi organisiert. Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Die Mahlzeiten waren phantastisch. Die besten während unserer Omanreise. Wir haben uns in unserem Dome sehr wohl gefühlt.

Le Nomad Inn Tiwi est un hôtel typique situé à proximité des deux wadis principaux d’Oman : Wadi Tiwi et Wadi Shab. Le personnel a été aux petits soins durant notre séjour, ce fut un plaisir d’être chouchoutées de la sorte dès notre arrivée. L’hôtel est situé en plein cœur du Wadi et présente un cadre typique magnifique : végétation dense, vue sur les montagnes et habitations traditionnelles. La chambre est moderne, joliment décorée et propre. L’hôtel dispose d’une belle piscine, d’un café offrant une vue panoramique sur les environs et d’un buffet pour les repas (petit déjeuner et dîner).

Le lieu est magnifique. Il y a une super terrasse et le café sert de délicieuses boissons. Le personnel est extra. La chambre est très confortable.

La salle de bain mériterait de meilleures finitions. L’eau chaude part et revient. La douche n’est pas très propre (joints). La lumière clignote.

L'endroit ravissant. Au calme au milileu de la vegetation. Chambre agréable mais aux finitions mal maitrisées. Le point fort de l'hotel c'est l'extreme gentillesse du personnel En résumé je dirai que c'est un hotel équivalent à un deux étoiles.
