Lovely historical Inn in set in a beautiful countryside environment! We felt welcomed by the lovely staff who were incredibly helpful! Food was amazing and so was the choice at the bar!
Everything. Very relaxing, friendly, and helpful. Also very interesting interior features. We stayed for six nights. Saw interesting birds on the local roads and loved the kittens cared by staff..
Just an observation....you need transport to get around.
The room was nice and spacious, with a queensize bed. Plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe and draw space ample to suit our needs. Large shower in bathroom for a refreshing start to the day. It was also nice having our tea/coffee biscuits and chocolate drink replenished everyday 😋
Welcoming stay. Good food . Comfortable accom . 3rd time here says it all really
Nothing
Had character
Pool table room was not big enough. Two foot long cues not ideal.
Lovely peaceful and relaxing
Oldy worldy pub loved it
Good ingredients and a wholesome menu
Good location, clean, Friendly staff

Found The Olde Windmill Inn to be a great place to stay with my dog. The room was of ample size and provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay. As a family we ate multiple times in the pub at breakfast and dinner times. The food was great and good value. There was a vast choice of beers and ciders on tap. The staff were all polite and courteous at all times and more than happy to help with any requests. Plenty of parking at the back of the pub and extra space available at the campsite/overflow parking opposite. Would definitely stay again when visiting the area.
Very reasonable price for a great big room.
My door handle was a bit stiff
Lovely location
Room numbers and layout confusing; wasn’t given instructions when checking in where breakfast would be served so missed out on they dispute having it included in the room price. Soft drinks very over priced which was disappointing
Great location good food friendly staff
Nothing was very happy 😄
Friendly staff, dog friendly and good value
Wasn’t asked to have breakfast
Please with everything
breakfast very good pub menu very good and food nice. beds comfortable.
Taps in bathroom in room really loose and awkward to use. Too many cats around and lot of flies in the pub eating areas and in conservatory. would be better to have some fly control. very early morning wakeup with some star guy smashing bottles and raking them around in the glass disposal bin. why necessary at that time of day waking guests up at a very early hour.?
Location, carpark, Great restaurant, large rooms
Starting to look tired in places but still good
Lovely, charming old world proper pub.
Nothing
Room was comfortable and location
Service downstairs was slow and evening meal was adequate at best Breakfast could have been better if laid out rather than asked. Had to wait sometime to be served.
Everything - plenty of secure parking - accommodation is in self contained block around the back - pub has a great ambiance - family run all hands on deck which was brilliant, they had time for their guests - great food and plenty of different areas to eat, inside and out - would definitely recommend 😊
Nothing
The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The room was quiet. There was plenty of parking. Breakfast was good. Excellent range of beers.
Good food and friendly staff
Outside area needed some renovation
Very spacious clean twin room and en-suite with Tea and Coffee facilities. Friendly staff. Nice traditional pub in a quiet very pleasant location.
Evening meal and breakfast was a disappointment. Rib Eye Steaks were thin, dry and pretty tasteless @ £28. Kippers for breakfast was again a real disappointment @£11 - three thin strips of overcooked kipper with a small amount of bread. Tea and Coffee was not good either. Sorry to say the quality of food was average at best and didn't represent value for money. Limited wine choices.
The staff… really friendly and helpful. Great country pub
The rooms needs some TLC… wobbly bathroom taps (room 9), shower head that needs replacing but nothing major. Bed was comfy
Everything fine for our needs.
Lovely staff
Bedroom was good but the bathroom was too small and nit enough pillows Breakfast and dinner were good
Larger bathroom or at least shelves to my toiletries Need more pillows
I love the Olde Windmill Stayed a few times. The staff are outstanding, helpful and kind.
Location Fab Breakfast Friendly staff Comfortable Room
Food was good ,staff were very helpful and the service was fantastic. The issues I had were resolved and dealt with professionally.
Avoid room 12 kitchen extractor was directly outside room window running till 23.49 and on again at 07.00. The bed base was broken
Food excellent, staff very friendly
Carpet in room was a bit damaged. The chairs had stains on them
All staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bright and comfortable. Food was excellent and good value for money. We look forward to returning soon.
Nothing all was excellent
Everything was brilliant: the peaceful location, my clean and spacious room, the bath/shower, and the pub downstairs.
Nothing at all, everything was great.
Stayed here many times and Never disappoints. Great staff, lovely rooms, great food and lovely chilled ambience. 100% recommend
Nothing
Lovely country pub in an isolated area. It has a large car park across the road and I also noticed a Camping and Caravan Club site alongside the car park. The staff were brilliant and went over and above for me by collecting me from Little Cressingham, following my walk, and returning me the following morning. The ales and food were excellent . My room was large and the bed was comfortable. It had ample tea making supplies.
I was given a lift from Little Cressingham but it is in far from bus stops or walking routes. It was a little warm in the room.
Was working late and received a call from the pub, asking if I would be back before the kitchen closed, if not the would leave me a cold sandwich in my room and if I were too late for the bar, what drink would I like. Very thoughtful. Staff were all excellent. A really lovely friendly place.
Nice room, the bar had a very good selection of beers, nice restaurant , nicely placed for visiting all areas of Norfolk.
Would have preferred a ground floor room.
The room was ok as expected, the pub is just a local none event run buy one friendly lady the others are very slow for service and just angry at the world .. I would avoid the place; it’s just an old sticky pub for locals.
Friendly, clean, traditional style pub in quiet location.
Nothing
Lovely rural location, good rooms, nice reasonably priced breakfast, extensive menu, friendly staff and cats!
The food isn’t gourmet but that didn’t bother us. Would stay again.
Great location bed linen and towels were spotlessly clean and all set in a great pub atmosphere and large outdoor seating area.
Lovely staff
Food was a bit oily
We have stayed there before and it was just as good as we remembered. Would definitely stay again.
Nice looking
Bar small
Breakfast was good, very good choice options. Staff dealt with our requests very well.
Traditional Olde worlde proper pub in countryside location.
Smelly carpets in the corridor, rather stuffy ancient furnishings
Great for a relaxing stop over , great food and nice location
The staff were brilliant and the rooms and food very good. Ben in the bar went above and beyond
It was slightly further from Dereham than e thought but that was our fault
Friendly staff, good restaurant and quiet room
Location lovely quiet spot
All was fine.
Dinner a little cold, Waitress offered to replace it - my choice to not accept.
Breakfast
Staff could have been warmer, more welcoming and more focused on customer service
we loved the ambience.
nothing..all was great.
we had Dinner and breakfast at the property. Both meals were very good quality
Can't think of anything
Great little pub with loads of character ..... seems very popular which is always a good sign . Staff friendly and helpful ..... lovely location
As I say a popular pub and getting served at bar could sometimes be a bit of a struggle at busy times but nice ambience and once served plenty of seating areas ... inside and out
Nothing really
Partner got food poisoning
Great atmosphere, lovely setting, staff were very friendly and welcoming
Nothing
Good location
Very friendly staff , we felt very welcome right from the start , comfortable bed , fantastic breakfast
Friendly and helpful staff. Great food. Lovely location and close to the Peddars Way
Nothing
Everything was just perfect
We stayed at this lovely hotel close to the Peddars Way. Everything was great - the rooms were quiet, but the bar was lively…breakfast and dinner were good.
clean tidy good value fantastic setting staff great real ales fantastic
no heating so cold at night and in the morning
The location was excellent and the cleanliness was very good.
The room was opposite the boiler room and the boiler kicked in nearly every half hour and the vibration from the boiler room needs attention
What a find, we were in Norfolk looking for a new house and found this little gem, lovely comfy bed, great pub, food/breakfast very good & once we move undoubtedly we will be coming back for a drink & bite to eat. The best thing about staying here however are the staff who were just lovely 🥰
Nothing
Great location, great people, great bar, great food, great room
The room was outdated but comfy
Good location
Expensive bar and restaurant
Gret location. Helpful and friendly staff8
Warm efficient welcome, friendly staff, comfortable well appointed room, good food.
Nothing
Excellent and varied choice of breakfast and not stinted. Service was good and the staff really helpful. We only had dinner one night but that was very good with plenty of choice. Nice quiet out of town location
Location was convenient for our trip. Food was good and the staff at breakfast were very helpful. Room was spacious
Thought decor was a little tired and could have done with a referb. Not saying that it required a large overhaul just repair of items that were worn e.g. bench seats in the bar had holes in them where the fabric had worn through
In a lovely quiet & peaceful setting, friendly & helpful staff . It was lovely to wake up to bird song & not heavy traffic! Lovely food, lovely room with a very comfortable bed, good value would recommend & will definitely be back! ☺️
There wasn't anything we didn't like!
Great location. Very friendly. Good food. Bedroom was much larger than expected.
Nothing!
Lovely village in the countryside, with this great pub cum hotel. Two large car parks. Easy distances to Kings Lynn, Norfolk Broads, Norfolk Coast and Thetford Forest, and a city, whose name escapes me. Good breakfast and an extensive dinner menu. Some good ales served, Norfolk does have good beers. The best bit. We visited to see our football team. We won.
It was all good, but the bathroom probably needed a shelf and the overhead shower was a bit hot and then cold. But there was another shower option via the taps.
So lovely old place, much better than I expected. Staff was friendly, using the restaurant /pub was easy and convenient while staying the night.
The rooms are of course a bit outdated. The style sort of works with the old inn and all but changing the stained beige carpet to hard wood floor and cleaning the grouts (mold) in bathroom would upgrade the rooms a lot!
Welcoming, dog friendly, comfortable, good food, good service, friendly staff, great breakfast.
The only very slight draw back is wooden parts of the building are a little tired/in need of refurb.
The room was like home from home. Very comfortable wide bed, spacious room and en-suite, 2 lovely comfy armchairs to relax in after a long journey. Tea and coffee making facilities. Room and parking easy to access. Lots of quirky little rooms in the pub, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, plenty of choice for evening meals. Play park on site for little ones and woodland walks nearby. Buzzing popular place deservedly so.
NA
Comfy beds, large bedroom, plenty of hot water. Parking is brilliant. Very friendly bar and waiting on staff. Food is good and large portions. Local people very friendly.
Nothing
quiet clean and comfy
the TV wasn't a smart tv
Everything! We had a brilliant stay, super friendly staff, room was very comfortable and excellent value for money. We had an evening meal which was lovely, dont expect a fast service as everything is cooked to order, we were with family so it was lovely to have a relaxed meal without feeling rushed, if you want a fast food service then this isnt for you, personally i prefer to have a longer dining experience.
Nothing to write because it exceeded our expectations.
Very nice hotel and staff members did a great job.
The pub and rooms was great
