Excellent view, room was lovely and comfortable. The hosts however are what make this place outstanding. They go above and beyond and made my stay truly remarkable.

スタッフが親切だった。近くにある穴場的な、MOMOの店や、天ぷらや、酒屋などを案内してくれた。 部屋がアイていたので、マウンテンビューの部屋にしてもらった。ただ、私が訪れた時期は雨季で、毎日霧がかかり、カンチェンジュンガが見えたのはほんの一時でした。

Wifi が繋がらなかったり、停電したりするので、ここでネットのしごとをするには、自前でモバイル通信、予備バッテリーなどを持ってくる必要あり。

The hosts helped us navigate the city and locate sites. They helped us get an early morning ride back to the airport, and breakfast was incredible. When we were stuck in our room because a ride did not show, they brought us food while we were waiting. The terrace and garden were beautiful. The rooms were very well kept. The host kitchen and living area were pleasant and beautiful.

Water bottles in rooms were not sealed— must boil or filter water.

Every thing was perfect.. host caring was like 5star hotel.. very neat and clean property.. awesome awesome awesome.. seriously i have never seen this type of caring host.. thank you so much ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

It's really good

La gentillesse des propriétaires, les petit-déjeuner délicieux. La vue incroyable sur l'Himalaya quand il n'y a pas de nuages. La terrasse d'une des chambres où on pouvait admirer Darjeeling le soir en buvant du thé bien chaud.

Même si on nous a fourni des couvertures bien chaudes, il faisait froid dans la chambre.

Les hôtes sont aux petits soins avec nous. Les dejeuners sont excellents et la vue du balcon, par beau temps, est sublime. Le père de la famille nous a énormément aidé à organiser nos activités et nos transports.

Il faisait froid un peu. Toutefois, les hôtes nous ont fournis beaucoup de couvertures et même du thé pour nous réchauffer sur le balcon.

The host Samir, was fantastic. Very helpful. He arranged a car share for us back to Siliguri at a locals rate. The room was immaculately clean. Breakfast on the roof over looking Darjeeling was incredible. Easy walk to all the attractions and restaurants. Definitely recommend this place to other travellers

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel à la Dew Drops Guest House, et cela en grande partie grâce à Samir. Il nous a très bien accueillis, conseillé sur les activités à réaliser, fait découvrir des restaurants locaux et concocté de formidables petits-déjeuners ! La chambre était impeccable, et le balcon offre une vue imprenable sur Darjeeling et ses environs. La proximité avec le centre-ville est un vrai plus. Le fait que l’établissement soit situé dans les rues adjacentes à la rue principale garantit la tranquillité des occupants. Bref, j’ai adoré cet établissement et je le recommande vivement !

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leckeres Frühstück. Schöner Balkon, der von allen Zimmern genutzt werden kann (wahrscheinlich hat man bei gutem Wetter eine tolle Aussicht von dort, während unseres Aufenthalts war es aber die ganze Zeit bewölkt)

Die Bettdecke war nicht ganz so toll und hat etwas komisch gerochen.

Booked this homestay based on all the positive reviews and it did not disappoint — truly a 10/10 experience! The owners are some of the kindest people we've ever met. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. One day my partner wasn't feeling well and they even gave us medicine and hydration salts... just like our parents would have. The guesthouse itself is lovely — our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. We even got lucky and saw Kanchenjunga from the terrace one morning! And the food? Absolutely delicious. Would 100% recommend and would definitely come back in the future. :)

Location is very nice and peaceful. Samir uncle ji is the best host you can ever get in your trip to Darjeeling. Polite, helpful , and such a gem of a personality.

The family who own and run this hotel are very kind, and helpful. The wife is an excellent cook. The husband helped me to obtain a ride back to Siliguri. The view from the balcony of the mountains and valley were exceptional.

Finding the hotel the first time was a little difficult since It's off the main road and down some steps. A bigger sign near the steps would be helpful.

I stayed at Dew Drops Homestay during my solo workation trip to Darjeeling for 3 days, and it truly felt like a home away from home. From the very beginning, Mr. and Mrs. Gurung made me feel like I was visiting old friends rather than meeting them for the first time. Their warmth, kindness, and hospitality left a lasting impression on me. The breakfast every morning was homemade, delicious, and so filling that I often ended up skipping lunch! The room was clean and well-equipped with all essentials—smart TV, geyser, electric kettle, comfy mattress, working WiFi, wardrobes, and cabinets. Everything I needed for both comfort and productivity was right there. Though the weather was mostly cloudy and foggy during my visit, the view from the balcony and terrace was still stunning—floating clouds rolling over the layered hills created a magical vibe. I was lucky enough to catch glimpses of the snowy Kanchenjunga peaks on the day I checked out. I’d love to come back again during winter for a clearer view. The neighborhood was quiet and the people nearby were equally friendly. Mr. Gurung also helped me explore local shortcuts since I love walking and discovering places on foot. Overall, it was an incredibly warm and fulfilling experience.

There’s honestly very little to complain about. The only thing to keep in mind is that the homestay is located a bit downhill from Hill Cart Road, which could be slightly challenging for elderly guests or anyone with mobility issues. Also, if you’re using Google Maps to find the place, it might suggest a wrong route. It’s best to use Hotel Priyatam (on Hill Cart Road) as a landmark for accurate directions.

The homestay is so well maintained and the view from the balcony is breathtaking. You can sit there whole day enjoying the view. Mr.Gurung and Mrs.Gurung are the nicest and most humble people ever and they take care of each and every need. Super duper clean. It is near the railway station.

It is little far from mall road around 2 km. It is fun walking but can be tiring.

I like there service nd they are very humble and down to earth ,they know how to respect the client nd breakfast is also tasty and delicious 🤤😋.if I got chance to visit again dargelling definitely I'll choose this hotel only .u can't feel I'm in another house or out of city due to they are behaving like a family.you must visit , thanks for everything service and all.

We stayed 2 nights in Dew Drops Guesthouse and got spoiled by Samir and Kesia. What a warm welcome! We enjoyed the delicious home made breakfast! She made specially a non-spicy Nepalese dish for us. Yummie! The rooms are basic, but spotless clean! The view from the terrace on the Kanchenjunga on clear days is truly amazing!! And Samir and Kesia always want to help, eg tell you the best places where to buy good tea or help you with a guide.

The guesthouse is located in a small alley, only reachable by steps from the main road. However, Samir is very helpful explaining you (or your driver) where to stop and he will pick you up from there. The mattresses are super firm to western standards.

The hosts were extremely kind, humble and helpful. We will definitely recommend their property to our friends or family.

A bit off the main road so it's nice and quiet but still easy to walk all over the city! The hosts are incredibly friendly and accommodating and they made us delicious breakfast and tea on their terrace, and in their living room when the weather was bad. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the guesthouse is only a few rooms which gave it a nice, communal feel.

Rooms aren't huge and the Budget rooms have a shared bathroom with a squat toilet (very clean and we were the only ones using it during our stay but something to be aware of!). Hot water was also a bit inconsistent but had an easy fix.

The hosts Mr. Samir Gurung and Mrs. Chandni Gurung were very courteous and helpful to every small detail. The location offers splendid views of the Mt. Kanchenjunga on a sunny morning. The breakfast is also wholesome. A good and a safe place to stay on a visit to Darjeeling.

We had the best experience ever. The guest house is clean and beautiful and in a perfect position and Chandin and Samir were always very kind and amazing. They prepared us super tasty food and helped us in every way they could. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed my stay very much. My hosts were super friendly. The location is quite good, not directly at the main road but 1min walk away from.

I spent three nights from 19-21 Dec in this guest house. The owner is so hospitable. The staff Gurung Samir is cheerful always with smiling face and busy to give us comfortability. Snow-peaked Kanchanjangha view is breathtaking from balcony. I enjoyed much.

It was a nice experience to stay at this guest house. The hosts were friendly. I really enjoyed the breakfast served at the guest house and the terrace on the rooftop during sunny days. Also, the host arranged a transport to visit the Tiger Hill. It is highly recommended.

Cold, the sun does not reach the guesthouse in winter. An electric blanket was provided, but no room heater.

The bed was the Indian-style hard bed, which we’re not used to, but it’s only a preference.

AND LOCATION IS THIS PROPERTY IS VERY BAD PROPERTY OWNER IS SO CHEATER. I PERSONALLY SUGGEST DON'T TRAP IN THIS PROPERTY FIND ANY HOME STAY OR HOTELS

Location was very best, Darjeeling rail station just 2 mins walk, market, bus stand, tea garden all within 10 mins walk, property is itself on the main road. Breakfast was good but Maggie was But special, with that chutney... she ( our hostess cooks so well) But the best part is the host n hostess. They are sooo nice that they won't allow you to waste a single penny. At least my 15 thousands rupees saved with their correct suggestions. Dada(the host) takes best care of the guests, you won't feel you are outside, you will feel at home. I have never seen such wonderful people. I recommend it to everyone who want to visit Darjeeling for 4 reasons: 1.Location(best location to go to mall road, station, bus stand, tea garden, rope way or museums just by walking) 2.Views of the Kanchenjunga from balcony or terrace are just breathtaking. 3.Hosts:They are best part as your stay n sightseeing will be made very easy n cheap, please seek their guidance when you plan your journey around the city, you will be shocked how easy n cheap it all are made. 4.Maggie:This can be enough to visit the place itself. Hostess prepares the Maggie so well, that you won't be able to forget it, n chutney was very v special

Very nice location. Just 5 minutes walk away from darjeeling station location. Mall road can take 10-15 minutes with a little ramp. Bus stand is also 10-15 minutes walk away. Family is very good. Samir gurung is very nice person and he will make your visit more convenient with his guidance and short cut tips.

1) The host, Samir Gurung, is ex Army, and it shows. The place is perfectly kept and very neat. 2) A very beautiful terrace balcony and flower garden outside host's apartment, with good view of the valley. 3) Very welcoming behavior. 4) Food.

1) Approach to the place is via a narrow downhill street from the main road, without a vehicle approach. Not recommended for old people and people with walking difficulty. Host manages guests luggage, so that is not an issue. 2) Rooms are very small. Only one room had a view outside.

Not recommended for old people as one has to climb down few steps to reach to the location.
