Our stay at this property was an absolute nightmare. Both my partner and I were severely bitten by bed bugs overnight. The bites became extremely painful and swollen, completely ruining the rest of our trip. To make matters worse, there were numerous spider webs on the walls right next to the bed, showing a total lack of cleaning, hygiene, and maintenance. It is unacceptable to host guests in conditions that pose a direct risk to their health and well-being. No cover sheets just a duve with no cover sheet We have taken clear photos of both the bites and the dirty room. We strongly advise others to avoid this place. We appreciated the goodwill of owner who refunded us the paid amount.

Cibo pessimo e caro. Non essendoci alternative, ed avendo la loro famiglia il monopolio degli albergue del borgo, bisognava per forza mangiare da loro. Per dolce c'era una mela dal gusto indefinibile.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Todo ! La construcción de piedra , era fresco en el verano , los baños siempre bien y no estaban ocupados . La cocina deliciosa y el personal muy muy amable . También tienen juegos de caja que se agradecen mucho! Y lavadora y secadora por un plus de precio. Divino sitio. Un poco afuera de Ferreira pero muy muy bien .

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026The staff made our visit - they were wonderful and friendly. We were not expecting our own room, but turned out to get a small room just for our group (there were six of us). We slept well - it was dark & quiet. The house is old and atmospheric but very well maintained. The food was good; location is right on the Camino Primitivo in the heart of the Galician countryside.

Personale poco accogliente, cibo non curato e caro, la reception/accoglienza ha chiuso - senza avvisare - mentre eravamo tutti fuori a vedere l'eclissi e una volta rientrati ci siamo trovati in difficoltà perché molte persone avevano bisogno di cose che erano in spazi comuni che erano stati chiusi a chiave.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026El albergue a pie de camino, regentado por una familia. Tiene bar y menú diario. Las camas cómodas (literas) en habitación compartida de 10-12 personas. El desayuno 5€ muy completo (café, zumo de naranja natural, dos tostadas y una magdalena). Juegos de mesa y jardín para pasar la tarde.
El menú del día es el mismo que por la noche, con poca variedad de elección, y cuesta 15€ (eso sí, nos permitieron compartirlo entre mi pareja y yo). A parte del menú tienen bocadillos (un poco caro, entre 7 y 8 euros). Los baños sin ventilación. La cortina de ducha daba un poco de repelús. Las bombillas casi agotadas.

No es bike friendly. Si tienes para guardar bicicletas pero siempre y cuando empieces ruta a las 7. Si te quieres ir antes te la dejan dejar en un salón común que por cierto está toda la noche abierto. Solo hay que empujar la puerta desde fuera.

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026Het personeel was vriendelijk. Ik heb er een eenvoudige maar lekkere maaltijd kunnen bestellen. Er was echt bedlinnen voorhanden. De herberg ligt echt pal naast de Camino Primitivo.
De kamer was heel donker. Er zaten ook veel vliegen in de slaapkamer. Het sanitair was heel primitief. Het toilet en de douche (met gordijn) bevonden zich in dezelfde ruimte. Na het douchen was dus alles nat. De voorzieningen om je kledij te wassen en op te hangen waren ook heel basic. Er was geen individuele verlichting en stopcontact per bed.

Tiene menos prestaciones que uno público costando más. No tiene microondas ni sala para peregrinos, hay muy pocas duchas y servicios, el desayuno es caro. Además, es un sitio donde uno acaba etapa para descansar no para ejercer de guardería. El niño de los dueños es majo, pero es muy intenso y cuando te pilla no te deja ni un minuto toda la tarde. Nos habría gustado descansar.

They promote as an albergue but you can't use the kitchen. They do not accept cards The room and other places in the albergue are not prepared for a hot weather which is more common these days in Spain. A member of the staff was sleeping in the communal area

Reviewed May 19, 2026Jätte fin Albergue med en hel del charm, värdinnan var väldigt trevlig även om det var en stark språk barriär. Det vegetariska alternativet var ingen höjdare men det känns som att det vegetariska köket inte är så populärt överhuvudtaget i Spanien, åtminstone på de platser jag ätit på.

Les sanitaires sont à revoir. Des aménagements individuels au niveau du dortoir, prise électrique et tablette individuelle, sont à prévoir. Le chargement des portables sur des prises multiples ne est pas très "réglementaire" et pratique.

Signage to the Albergue was nonexistent. We had to ask at a couple of other ones before we found it. There weren’t enough showers and when we got one there was water everywhere. Breakfast was dismal, almost no effort was put into it. There weren’t enough staff to take care of food and other requests
