The Road Hotel

My 3rd stay here, because the location was amazing. I was travelling with a family member and needed an extra keycard, which the owner/staff kindly provided when asked. He was also was very nice to talk to!

I have stayed in 3 separate rooms so far, the condition vary and is not perfect. But nothing major or deal breaking, especially for the size and location for the price.

駅から坂道が少しきつかった。サイレンかアラームのようなものが廊下でなっていたが、スタッフもいなくてアナウンスもなかったため不安だった。滞在中いちどもスタッフを見かけなかった。

地點位子真的很棒，從飯店往大馬路方向走過馬路就是明洞逛街的地方，離4號線明洞站走路5~10分鐘(看累的程度)，購物血拼超方便，周邊食物也很多，飯店對面就有一家小小的早餐店，下一點坡就有一家24小時的便利店

不知道這次是不是邊間的緣故，當別人開關門，房間門也會因此而波動，一開始以為有人敲門，後來發現是因為空氣壓力緣故，隔音效果也不好，走廊拉動行李箱的聲音聽得到，走路也是，冷氣壓縮機的嗡鳴聲、冰箱的壓縮機嗡鳴聲半夜會歡唱，所以對於聲音敏感的人可能不適合，不然就是要戴耳塞(飯店一樓櫃檯可以拿)，毛巾有味道

There is no lift, we were on the 3rd floor and we were shocked because it has never been mentioned on the booking, we struggled carrying our heavy luggages on the top floor and nearly fall, high risk of falls especially guests with disability or elderly

The hotel provides what it promises, it is a small space, not a special case, but a clean, small space for a short-time residence in the heart of Seoul, everything within walking distance, ask for a room with window, the owner is willing to sort out any problems.

I really loved localisation of this hotel. The staff of this hotel were really helpful with everything. There were also very friendly and really good to talk to.

Was really good easy to check in and staff were helpful. Room was clean and as expected. Beds are soft and comfortable.

明洞から近い点、それだけです。

水回りはカビがひどく、客室内は掃除が行き届いていませんでした(鏡台には食べかすが付いたまま、ほこりが溜まったまま)。挙句の果てにはゴキブリが出ました。ホテルの方いわく、穴等はないので掃除の際にドアから入ったのだろうとのことでしたが、穴が無くても十分発生しそうな環境という印象です。そのため3泊の予定を1泊でチェックアウトしました。2泊分の返金は出来ないとのこと。フロントの方には、返金についてはマネージャーと相談すると言っていただきましたが約1週間後の現在でも返金なしです。

床不好睡 感覺有鋪防水墊在下面 很硬很吵且不透氣 馬桶坐墊比本體還小 面前有樑柱只能歪歪的上 太高的人會無法使用花灑 我155都已經很靠近了 只有提供毛巾沒有浴巾 自助入住方便 設定個別密碼也很棒 但直接顯示在辦理機器畫面超級沒意義 任何陌生人都可以點選輸入畫面顯示的驗證碼辦理入住 不太安全

Great location, nice and easy to find and check in. We never saw any staff but you have access to fresh towels all the time. Good share kitchen and washing machine/dryer available (pay K2000 for each). A few steps up to entrance and stairs for 2nd and 3rd floor rooms. Nice hot water and good bathroom. Good wifi in rooms.

Only issue is the blue lights on the light switch which stay lit all night! Very bright.

The location is great - close to the Myeongdong station, however in a quiet neighbourhood. The bed was comfortable. It is great that hotel offers baggage storage free of charge. There is a shared kitchen with microwave ovens, coffee machines and hot water available for guests.

The room is quite tiny and may be not suitable for longer stays.

いつも泊まってるけど今回は狭い部屋で、シャワーが狭すぎた。 部屋こばえが三匹ぐらいいて不快だった。いつも思うが足のバスマットがないと気持ちが悪い。

I was able to check in even I arrived so late.

Check in was easy and seamless. No lift to 2nd floor and 3rd floor, but staff was kind to help with bags if needed. Everything you might need are there in the room. Aircon works very well. Hot shower is great. No room cleaning service done regularly - but can be requested if wanted with 1 day notice. We stayed for 2 weeks and requested for a clean after 1 week, no issues. For the price we pay, this is good enough. A bit of a hilly walk to the hotel, but generally we were okay with it. location is very close to myeongdong station, and away from the busy and noisy areas.

Towels need to undergo deeper cleaning to treat the musty smell. Towels provided are clean, and we can get clean ones everyday which is great. But the towels have developed to a stage where it requires deeper cleaning, it produces a smell when it gets wet. Maybe replaced with entirely new ones, if not possible. Boss, please google "towels smell sour even after washing" to see how you can treat this issue. There is a way to treat this, I hope you can try and tackle this issue. Other than this small issue, your hotel is good and we would definitely stay again if we come to seoul once more. Thank you for taking care of us.

トイレとシャワーが同じ空間でシャワーカーテンがないため、床がビショビショになる。エアコンがカタカタ音がして寝ている時に気になった、部屋のドアが空気の圧でガタガタ音がする。

明洞の繁華街に物凄く近いのと、駅からも遠くなかった。 バスタオルは付いてないけどフェイスタオルの貸出(枚数無制限)があったため、バスタオルを持っていく必要もなかった。 チェックインは全て機械での操作のため韓国語が出来なくてもスムーズにチェックインできる。

湿気が籠りやすいのでユニットバスの換気扇は付けて出かけた方が良い。 個体差あるがたまに生乾きの匂いがするタオルがあった。 トイレとシャワーの仕切りがないのでシャワー後は便器がずぶ濡れ 部屋にもよるが、いちばん狭いお部屋だとキャリーを広げるスペースはない テーブルと椅子等がある訳では無いのでお部屋でご飯は厳しい

Very cute hotel located not far from Myeongdong. There is also a convenience store and a metro station nearby, which makes the location very convenient. The hotel is functional and comfortable. There is a shared kitchen with a water dispenser and a washing machine, which was very useful during the stay. The administrator was always available and ready to help whenever needed.

One small thing to note: after showering, especially on hair wash days, the bathroom takes a while to dry. However, this seems to be more related to the local climate and humidity rather than a downside of the hotel itself.

地點很棒，離明洞4號出口非常近，旁邊有超商，對門可以吃早餐，要到明洞逛街也很方便但又隔一條街所以安靜，但也不是在小巷子裡獨身女性夜晚單獨過來不會感覺不安。能寄放行李，check-in 全自動，吹風機不是沒力的那種，電源插座也完全不需要額外準備轉換器👍

門的隔音效果不太行，因為正好住在進門第一間如果進出旅人在前臺聊天完全能聽見，深夜動作進門大一點早睡或睡眠品質較淺的人可能會被嚇到。毛巾的味道有點遺憾不是很習慣。

駅近くて商店がいっぱいあってとても便利だった。街なかけど静かなところがベスト点だと思う。

帰国の前の日は急にトイレが詰まっちゃって困りました。夜中だから次の日にならないと修理も出来ないと言う話しだったのでちょっと………旅行先でトイレは詰まるはありえないですね。😂

Great value 100m from the hustle and bustle of Myendong. Close to rail stations and shopping for sure. Comfy and perfect for busy people that only need a room to take a quick break or sleep in. Quick and clean with laundry facilities for 2000krw per clean or dry

Only one key card issued so if you split up it can be tricky.

Muito bem localizado, quarto confortável e o hotel no geral é bem limpo. Funcionários atenciosos e gentis.

Location, close to subway/buses and tourist area with the tower and night market.

Nothing serious, but didn't see a single staff member in the 3 nights, not that it was an issue, small towels, and room had a window which looked out on nothing, but for the money and location very satisfactory.

Możliwość skorzystania z pralki i suszarki w symbolicznej kwocie 2000 KRW. Wielki plus za palarnię na dachu! Lokalizacja świetna na bazę wypadową. L’hôtel est très bien situé en plein Myeongdong, ce qui est très pratique pour se balader. Le métro est seulement à 3 min à pied ce qui permet de visiter tout les coins de Séoul 😊. De plus, le personnel est très sympathique et fait l’effort de parler anglais pour la clientèle. Petit + pour le troisième étage où il est possible de laver votre linge (machine à laver, sèche linge) et qui fait également office de pièce à vivre.

It has a pretty good location.

The staff was not there for check in. We waited quite a while as their self check in didn't work. The room didn't have a window while in the picture it indicated windows. Nobody cleaned the room during 10 days we stayed and there was water drainage in the bathroom. I think the staff could pay more attention to this.

The room had everything you could need for a holiday trip including a small fridge, hairdryer, international power sockets. The bathroom was clean and shower gel, conditioner, shampoo were also provided. Towels could be changed as needed and toilet paper was provided. The common area had an equipped kitchen as well as a washing machine and dryers. The place was quiet and rooms are air conditioned although it was a bit hard to figure out the remote as it was in Korean a google search made it possible eventually. The beds are comfortable and clean. Location is fantastic, close by to the metro station and not far from all main tourist attractions.

- dingy, dirty, cramped, security issues - not fit for a family vacation, it is a hostel not a hotel

Emplacement calme très proche de la N tower et d’un grand quartier très animé.

Great location for subway and airport limo bus. Room was reasonably clean. Bed was comfortable. Shared facilities like kitchen, washing were as expected. Note: we only realised on the last day of our stay that the TV and AC remote were in one. Easy self checkin and check out.

Bigger towels but then again they had abundance of the smaller towels available and we understand it’s more cost effective for the hotel.
