Hus ved Lillestrøm by

It feels homie, a very nice and well decorated house near a river. Everything you need for your stay all available. Host welcoming us a day before check in with simple instruction on house key, the rest is memorable stay. Wish to meet the kind host but he unavailable. Would like to come again.

Beautiful view of the water, lovely comfortable house, full of character, with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The little private dock has a seat as well with a beautiful view of the waterway. The owner lives there when it is not rented so it is well appointed with everything, including cooking and serving dishes, and a large TV..

You could occasionally hear the tenant that lives in the downstairs apartment but they were courteous and did not have the TV on very late.

Das Haus ist das ehemalige Familienhaus des Gastgebers, und es war sehr schön, in diese familiäre Atmosphäre mit Familienbildern an den Wänden und vielen persönlichen Erinnerungen kommen zu dürfen. Da er bei unserer Ankunft anwesend war, ergab sich auch ein nettes Gespräch über die Geschichte des Hauses. Man wohnt hier nicht in einer reinen Ferienwohnung, sondern in einem Haus, das mehreren Generationen als Lebensmittelpunkt diente. Es ist entsprechend in die Jahre gekommen, verfügt aber über alle technischen Notwendigkeiten, über moderne Unterhaltungs- und Kommunikationselektronik und eine sehr schöne Terrasse samt Gartengrundstück, über das man einen kleinen, romantisch wackligen Steg zum Wasser erreicht. Es gibt einen Grill und viel Platz im Haus und rundherum. Wir waren mit Bus und Bahn unterwegs, und wer das ebenso macht, sollte wissen: Wer kein Auto zur Verfügung hat, läuft eine ordentliche Strecke zum Bahnhof und zum nächsten Supermarkt. Das war nicht schlimm und wir wussten das vorher, da man sich ja mit der Lage vor dem Buchen auseinandersetzt. Lillestrom ist ein typischer Vorort - nah genug am Zentrum von Oslo, aber eben auch ruhig und nicht weiter aufregend. Nach Oslo fahren mehrfach pro Stunde Züge, die Fahrtzeit beträgt etwa 15 bis 20 Minuten. Uns diente das Haus zwei Nächte lang als Basis für Oslo, und dafür war es sehr geeignet, denn dass es etwas außerhalb liegt, macht sich natürlich auch preislich bemerkbar, denn in dieser Größe bekommt man in Oslo direkt auf keinen Fall etwas Vergleichbares. Fazit: Ruhig gelegenes, sehr angenehmes Haus mit familiärer Geschichte, sehr gut geeignet als Ausgangspunkt für Oslo und um zur Ruhe zu kommen. Wer das Glück hat, den Gastgeber persönlich kennenzulernen, sollte sich die Zeit für einen kleinen Plausch nehmen, es lohnt sich. Man reist ja, um Land und Leute kennenzulernen - hier hat man die Gelegenheit dazu.

Geluidsoverlast van de onderbuurman. Overdag aan het werk maar in de avond veel aan het bellen en bezoek.

Flott hus med alt du trenger. Flott terrasse med utemøbler og mulighet for å grille. Rolig nabolag . Sentralt til både Oslo sentrum og Lillestrøm. Rent i alle rom og hyggelig vert.

Les équipements de la maison sont parfaits. Rien de manque.

On n a pas pu profiter pleinement de la terrasse d une part à cause du trafic routier sur la route du haut. La terrasse pourtant très agréable sert de passage au locataire du rdc et aux personnes allant au lac. Dommage

It is old house but clean and neat. Good experience if you want to feel Norwergian vibe.

It is like you are staying at someone house because owner are staying there when no one renting the house. Wardrobes are full of owner clothes and items.

Super service. Tor er kjempehyggelig, lett å ha med å gjøre. Fin stereo om du er glad i musikk, stille område. Et hus med ro. Anbefales på det sterkeste. Alt av kjøkkenutstyr, så her kan man føle seg hjemme uansett.

The hosts were excellent. They made sure the property was clean before my arrival and they even drove me to the train station at the end of my stay. The property is beautiful with everything you need. Thank you again! Hopefully I can come visit next year as well

Everything was great. The house was large, clean, and had everything you need inside. The owner was very nice. I will definitely book again next time I visit Oslo. I recommend it.

Huset lå fint i et roligt bolig område, pænt rent, gode faciliteter og levede generelt op til forventningerne.

Det var desværre et stort minus for mig og min familie, at der var en underbo som vi ikke vidste noget om før vi kom, da personen larmede rigtig meget og stod tidligt op om natten ca. 02.30, så børnene vågnede og ikke kunne sove før personen var kørt kl. ca. 04.30.

Vue sympa sur le lac. Tous les équipements dont on peut avoir besoin sont présents. Logement très bien.

I am very happy that I have found this accomodation so close to Oslo. We really loved this place. The kitchen was very well equipped. We had the feeling that someone is still living here, we really felt like home. It's pretty clear that someone is taking really good care of this place. The view from the window is great.

Lovely home with access to all facilities and extras the same way the owner would :) Quick 10-15 minute walk into central Lillestrom, and another 10 minute train to Oslo Sentrum means this house is in a great location for its price!

Very nice fully-equipped house in a great location. Laundry facilities available. Nice quiet spot.

I wish we’d have known beforehand that there is a person who lives in the basement. It scared us hearing a person scurrying around under the house during the night when we were under the impression we were staying by ourselves. This is not a known thing in our country and it took us by surprise

It's really exellent. The host is very hospitable and friendly to us. We can charge for our EV car in front of house. A lake behind the house is beautiful, it is frozen and covered by white snow.

Amazing view from the house. Quite, clean and comfortable place for a weekend and for longer stay as well. About a 15-20 min walk you can reach a railway station.

We was not aware of heating in a bathroom, so it took some time to apply that, but after that it was super warm.

Host need to be more attentive and communicate better on guest arrival. We could not contact the host and almost had to be relocated because could not be contacted for key box password.

The host was awesome, and so was the house! The house is spacious and tastefully decorated with panoramic windows overlooking a river in the guestroom. The linens were also provided! The neighborhood is quiet, and it's 20-25 min drive from Oslo Downtown. It's one of those very rare cases when it seems too good to be true, but ends up being true. :) We would definitely stop there again!

The view of the sea was beautiful! Brilliant sound system when watching TV. Host was very friendly & helpful. The actual house is much better than the photographs.

Ii is a great older house, fully equiped, very comfortableby the lake. The view is beautiful. And the host was very helpful, since the google maps didnt find the adress. He was leading us to the house on the phone. I loved it.
