The Hospitality was great

It was clean and centrally located. Host was very pleasant and was able to give me one disposable cup to use for tea (tea kettle was provided).

WARNING. The keys to enter the hotel space were the same as my room keys - both keys worked on both doors. The host told me several times "they look the same but are not". I ended up testing after I was surprised that I picked the correct key each time for each door. Check in was not easy. It took the host an hour to arrive after I had to ask a neighbor to call, as she did not answer my whatsapp call or messages (I arrived in the hours listed on booking.com as check in hours). After she arrived, the room was not prepared and I had to wait another half hour. Soundproofing a major, major issue. Could hear my neighbor sneeze, move, exist. Host was unavailable after check in to ask about keys.

Tuve que esperar casi 1.5 hora a la propietaria para el check in cuando le había dicho la hora que llegaba. Cuando pude llamarla sun tardo 45 minutos. Es inaceptable y más las excusas df la propietaria que una vez tuvo que esperar 3 horas a un cliente. El aislamiento acústico no existe. No pude formar sprnss pues mi vecino tuvo csdi yodada la noche la TV encendida y no quiso apagarla. Se oye todo. Ls habitación mide menos de la mitad de lo que dice y no tiene las cosas que dice y dice cafetera y tetera y no hay ni una taza o una cuchara. Lo peor fueron las respuestas de la propietaris cuando me queje. No volvería ni gratis a ese lugar. Engañan y tratan mal a los clientes.

- we booked 3 rooms and when we arrived the lady told us that there was a mistake and there are only two rooms available, but she found us one room in different hotel, so all good after all - sound proofing is an issue (even for people with very good sleep), mainly the room located close to the street is noisy through the unused old door

The location was close to the town.

Customer Service is everything. Nobody was there when we got there despite stating our expected time of arrival. It took a while to get to someone we almost left. Nobody was there to check us out, so we left.

I booked a room with a shared bathroom, but there was only one other guest sharing the bathroom because some of the other rooms have their own bathroom. So it was no problem at all. Host was also responsive to my request -- there was no mug for coffee or tea with the kettle in the room, but she passed me some plastic ones. She also suggested a great place to get cheap, delicious and authentic local food!

The Room is much smaller then advertised (23 qm) Actually it is online 3 x 4 Metern = 12 qm I had problems with Moskitos and cockroach in my room

Excellent value for money in St John’s. We had a change of plans and had to book very last minute - JJ was very accommodating. Few mins walk to the waterfront and loads of places to eat, very comfortable.

The Location in the city was good. I could walk to the different restaurants ,Port etc. Peaceful area I felt like I was home relaxing.

A rude host who was fixated on getting the money straight away. When I asked to see the room first he wasn't happy. Would say very bad first impression. Thin walls, with so many rooms next to each other, are not recommended for families. The shower wasn't great either.

The security locks system for entering was superb, made the stay feel safe. The room was very convenient, clean, comfortable, lots of outlets and the A/C was very icy.

The shared bathroom was new to me and very hot, needs proper ventilation

The location was good, central to everything. The host was also very friendly and helpful, was able to check-in quickly. Rooms were basic and clean along with air conditioning. Wifi worked well.

Poor soundproof in the room. You could hear cars driving by on the street and quite annoying when late at night cars were blasting loud music. In addition, you could also hear other guests walk around and at times, guests watching videos. Better soundproofing would be better.

Not having water in the shower

Its perfect for one night getting from the airport and in the morning to the ferry ( 10 min walk to herriage bay), has a fridge and a cattle , good wifi . very friendly owner , but she doesnt live there. ( I came earlier than expected and there was no note , nothing what indicates that i would be in the right place)

a) if the taxidriver didnt know the location, there would be no way that i would have found that place. maybe she doesnt want to advertise that itis a guest house for the safty of her guest ( st johns is not the safest place) but maybe in an email after you book a discription like close to the burger king. next intersection the house on the corner. or something like that. b) i was not aware she wanted cash ( there it went my cash, i just got at the airport) - maybe i misread . c) the rooms was very minimalistic.( no nightstand, no lights, one chair. but very clean d) the bathrooms are pretty far and i could not figure out the hot water - cold shower is healthy for you ) e) st johns is not the safest place. not a vacation town.

Location - short walk to heritage quay and short taxi ride to airport

No hot water No sign outside - difficult to find I arrived at 6pm for a 3-6pm check in. No one was there and the phone number I had for the owner just went to hold music. Luckily I managed to speak to a neighbour who called the owner, otherwise I don't know how I would have got in

My overall experience at the Airbnb was excellent. The room was very comfortable, and the shared bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The location near the airport was convenient, making it a great choice for travelers.

I did encounter an issue with mosquitoes in the room, which was a bit of a drawback. It would be great if the host could consider implementing measures to address this, such as providing mosquito nets or using repellents.

An over expensive hostel

Bed with ripped plastic undersheet. No hot water. Only one teabag and no milk provided. Difficult to find no signs outside the building, no-one on the street knew where it was.

The owners are really helpful. They answered all my queries. The location is great. Close to the ferry and the market.

I liked that the room was spacious and air-conditioned. There were hangers to put up my clothes and paper towel - may not seem like much, but it's the little things that count. The security measures are also good. The host was great, and this is just a perfect room for an overnight stay.

The shower could be better. At a point during my shower, I was standing in my bath water. I didn't enjoy that. It's a mild construction problem, but overall I had a good stay.

As unable to connect to Wi-Fi spot at Antigua Airport, could not update with a delayed flight. Therefore, upon arrival at property had to ask a local business to make a phone call then wait 20min in heat and mosquitoes for entry to building. After requesting a light bulb to see within the bedroom, this was never provided so eye strain trying to see within the dark room. Would've liked to have seen a notice in shared bathroom to advise of the vile filthy people who found it appropriate to throw used toilet paper into a bin rather than flush that this isn't acceptable. Health hazard.

The location is close to the city and we all had our privacy and general support from management with anything I would surely recommend it to my friends who are planning to visit Antigua

It's new business and venture so as time goes by with little suggestions it seems as though management is willing to take the suggestions and try to improve the facility to make things better an comfortable for the guests

needs tweaking and more amenities, no mirror in bathroom, window aren’t tinted so had to shower in the dark because it’s opposites busy street, pillows are paper thin and had the worst sleep, no running hot water in shower and sink. no mosquito netting so there was many in our room.
