great location - amazing value for money. Host was super nice ....It is in Gunten so you have to be ok with that we loved it felt a real Swiss experience. the breakfast was super nice

The host very nice, kind and warm welcome, the room is comfy , the bathroom is share but very convenient. The breakfast is great with good pick. The location is very near lake Tune.

Actually nothing, suggest you to have dinner before go to B&B. We came a little bit late night but the host recommend one Italian restaurant which is good.

We enjoyed a great stay at B&B Schönörtli! It's a lovely, cozy house with a beautiful view of the lake - convenient to get to with a car. The host was super friendly and welcoming, helped us unload our bags from the car, and even gave us a hookup at a local restaurant for dinner! We LOVED getting to say hi to the little goats and sweet tiny pup on the property. Dedicated parking was easy. Water pressure in the showers was great, and towels were amply supplied and soft. The rooms were clean and well furnished. Breakfast had an expansive selection and was tasty. Would definitely recommend this spot!

Friend and I had hoped for 2 beds, rather than having to share one, but I suppose those rooms had already been booked! Ah well! We did appreciate having separate duvets. The floor in the hallway outside the rooms is very creaky, so you will hear all the comings-and-goings, but everyone we met was very friendly and respectful with quiet hours. :)

Wir haben uns im B@B von der ersten Minute an richtig wohlgefühlt! Der Gastgeber Hr Budo und seine Familie sind super herzlich, aufmerksam und immer für einen kleinen Plausch zu haben – man merkt sofort, dass ihnen das Wohl ihrer Gäste am Herzen liegt. Unser Zimmer war gemütlich und sauber, das Frühstück lecker und liebevoll angerichtet. Auch die Lage ist perfekt, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gern wieder und können das B@B wärmstens empfehlen! Liebe Grüße aus Köln

큰길가에 위치하진 않았지만 버스로 접근하기 쉬웠고, 높이 올라온만큼 뷰는 좋았습니다. 방에 Thun 호수와 Niesen 산이 내려다 보이는 창문이 있었어요. 아침식사도 알차고 주인과 대화도 정겨웠어요. 시골집에서 아늑하게 머물다 간 느낌입니다.

El enclave es muy bueno, tiene un lago precioso a a pocos minutos, el desayuno esta muy bien

La habitación , es muy antigua, necesitaría remodelarse. Aunque era cómoda, para hacer noche de paso.

1. Location : the bus stop is right in front of the B&B, it’s convenient if you are traveling with public transportation 2. Hosts : VERY friendly and welcoming💓 3. Hygiene : the B&B was exceptionally clean!! 4. VIEW : The view through the windows is absolutely amazing and from the garden too! 5. Cost value : Very much worth the money (if you think it’s expensive, you should probably do your research first about Switzerland) 6. Breakfast : nothing special but good enough and it’s included We enjoyed our stay VERY MUCH!

I honestly don’t know why people are complaining about the location, prices and hygiene etc. Either they didn’t read the description before they booked this place or they simply didn’t do their research on Switzerland & the location of this B&B. That said, I had done my research & I have been to Swiss before, this is far better than any other places around here? Let alone the room rate was FAIR enough. Don’t be complaining about this B&B if it’s because of your lack of knowledge about where you are traveling to. It was 10/10

Easy to reach by car rather than public transport.

Great host, very nice guy. Cats, goats. View was amazing. Shared bathrooms, but you barely run into anybody. We had two full bathrooms with toilets shared with other like two rooms.

Es un hotel que engaña, cuando llegas parece una cosa, pero cuando entras la habitación es increíble. No tiene aire.a. pero tiene un ventilador para cada habitación. Camas súper cómodas. Hay dos baños con ducha para las 3 habitaciones, en los baños puedes encontrar de todo. Hay una zona común en la planta con nevera, microondas , y cafe e infusiones para los clientes. Los propietarios nos dieron buen recibimiento. Además de tener animales de granja y dos preciosos gatitos. Nos encantó!!

Por poner una pega, el desayuno un poco flojo, que también pudo ser, porque fuimos la última habitacion en desayunar, no obstante, puedes pedir cualquier cosa que necesites que te lo repondrán al momento.

I would rate this place less than one star if I could. When I arrived, it looked abandoned — dirt everywhere, both in the front and the garden. Even the rooms were dusty. I wish I could upload photos to show. The bathroom is completely separate from the room; to shower, you have to pass through the hallway. The place felt uncomfortable with many disorganized people around. When I tried to cancel, the first person said he didn’t care about the money and had no issue. But after two hours of cancellation attempts, a second person completely refused. A terrible experience that won’t be repeated, and it made me much more cautious when choosing hotels in the future.

it is the best accommodation in my travel this time. my window has a super fantastic view and fresh air. they have clean room and bathroom, and good breakfast. you also can play with the goats and cats there. Be careful don't miss the last bus to reach there, otherwise you gonna have a good exercise climb from the down hill stops, which is also a super cool experience.

Very warm room, but we used fans.

I didn’t like it all.

First of all, there was no check-in or check-out process. Second, there were three elderly people, one of whom appeared to be mentally unstable, and we were unable to communicate with him. Third, there were dogs barking at us constantly. Fourth, there were no locks on the doors—both front and back—which raised serious safety concerns. Additionally, this was not even a hotel; it was just an old house with animals.

Schönörtli is at a nice location above Lake Thun. During good weather, the view of Niesen Mountain is astonishing. It is an ideal place for someone who wants some peace and quiet for a while. Breakfast was simple but very good.

Take note that the toilets are shared between 3 rooms. Also, there are no lifts in the house, so be ready to lug your suitcases up the stairs. Though the staff was quickly stepping in to help.

The description of the property, facility and location are accurate, everything met our expectations. The view from the bedroom window was excellent. Considering the price this accommodation is excellent.

Having read carefully the description there is nothing to dislike or complain about. Other reviews that have rated the property poorly have not read the description properly.

Friendly manager, Perfect view, excellent breakfast, and a welcoming spot for pet lovers, including cats and goats. There's parking available behind the building. The house is old but charming—definitely not for luxury hotel seekers, but perfect for nature lovers and those who appreciate a more laid-back, tolerant atmosphere. Highly recommended! very close to Panoramabrücke Sigriswil.

Just a heads-up for future travelers: there are about three floor steps leading up to the room entrance, which might be something to consider if you have heavy luggage or accessibility needs. The refrigerator in the common area could be bigger. The water boiler in the room could also be replaced with a larger and newer one.

The beds were very comfortable and the scene from the window was breathtaking. The family who owned were friendly and the breakfast, which was included, was lovely. and only a ten minute walk away was the most refreshing swim in the Thunersee!

Breakfast is good, the location is very close to the lake. Also the bus stop is near, so you can take bus to interlaken and Thunn

The location, the view and the breakfast

There is no ac, the bathroom isn't connected to the room, there is lots and lots and lots of bugs, plus there is a hornet next right beside the window and got way too bug bites, no privacy since you can hear and see everything. No staff to clean the room, so if your going to stay long be ready to use the same sheets, blankets and pillows. The path to the room you need to climb a lot, so if you have a knee issue, you will have some problems since there is no elevator. Also you need to run for the parking since there is lots of wasps. Another thing the location is better accessed with car because it's far away from the bus shettle and the location itself is confusing with the neighboring home

I apologize for not being able to speak German. :( This beautiful B&B is situated in a tranquil mountain location with stunning views of both the lake and the surrounding peaks. The house itself is warm and cozy, equipped with all the necessary conveniences. The landlord is a lovely and welcoming gentleman! We arrived much later than the latest check-in time, yet he greeted us with enthusiasm, helped us check in, and gave us a thorough tour of the house. We also enjoyed a very delicious breakfast the next day morning. I highly recommend for this B&B! Thank you again for the amazing experience! Danke schön! :)

The view of the lake from the room is wonderful. You can see alps and the lakes from a unique elevated view. The owner was responsive and the breakfast was also timely and well prepared. There is a small garden that you are allowed to access. I believe it would be a nice place to hang around in the summers.

There are no options for dinner nearby. Make sure to pack some food before you reach. Also if you go with a heavy baggage, it can be a steep walk up the hill to reach the place. Definitely hard for old people/ people with limited mobility.

Everything was perfect!! Location, bedroom, breakfast, etc. I spent there 4 days and i have nothing to complain about. The host was really nice and helpful. I will definetely go back as the B&B stands in such a naturally beautiful place!! Thank you!!⁹

Very expensive! Not to much breakfast, and also very few options for vegans! There was only cow milk for example.

Most of the people here mentioned about the bed 🛌, That can be improved. And may be a better parking sign at the door will be helpful.

The host was very nice, the breakfast had more choices than expected from such a small place, and the area was stunning.

If you want a nice but tiring walk with a good view, walk up to the place from the road. If you don't want to get tired, drive up.

View from the room and hospitality

Amenities are of average quality. Furniture in the rooms are not just basic and not appealing. There was no TV although the images included TV. Parking space is not convenient. Very limited options to restaurants/ supermarkets near the location.

The view was absolutely stunning from the windows. Dramatic with the mountains and the lake. Lovely, cosy rooms in a truly quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Not even the fact that the bathrooms were shared was a problem. They were clean and everything provided.

Only one thing. We were asked whether we want omelette for breakfast, but nobody said we had to pay extra for that after having paid breakfast with the accommodation. We assumed that's what breakfast meant. So, that was a bit of a blow.
