THE BAY

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans cette maison . L’endroit est spacieux et la vue est magnifique sur la baie de Trou d’eau douce. La piscine partagée avec 2 autres villas est super agréable , un vrai plus pour le séjour. Mélissia était au rendez-vous tous les jours pour le ménage ce qui était très appréciable. C’est quelqu’un de très agréable et accueillant.

La maison est d’architecture typique avec le cachet tropical mauricien cependant la déco date un peu et mériterait un rafraîchissement pour donner un petit coup de peps à l’ensemble. Dés ventilateurs au plafond dans la cuisine et la véranda seraient un plus…

A notre arrivée, Mélissia nous attendait, les échanges avec Isabelle et Mélissia ont toujours été très bons et très réactifs. Mélissia a enchanté notre séjour, en venant chaque matin pour disposer d'une maison impeccable, sans parler d'un excellent dîner qu'elle nous a préparé. Isabelle de son côté nous a facilité la vie en nous organisant des sorties bateaux sur mesure, avec départ du ponton de la résidence. C'était parfait, nous recommandons.

Emplacement idéal, vue magnifique, piscine idyllique, la gouvernante Melicia était toujours aux petits soins pour nous ,elle nous a bien aidé pour organiser des activités . Et mention spéciale à ses plats Mauriciens qu’elle nous a préparé avec le sourire.

Efficacité de Melicia et sa gentillesse. La vue est exceptionnelle. La surface de la maison. Belle salle de bain. Propreté et décoration. Proximité du centre ville pour faire les courses. Plage de Palmar à 2km à la découverte des poissons tropiquaux.

La location ne concerne que la moitié de la maison photographiée au toit bleu. A l’arrivée, la piscine avait tourné. Vue directe sur la salle à manger et le jardin de la maison d’à côté. Accès au ponton dangereux, acces a la mer et pas à plage . Lit cassé à l’arrivée. Fuite dans la toiture, eau tombant sur le lit, bassine et serviette éponge... Une location onéreuse en regard 1 - de l’idée perçue par les photos de l’environnement 2 - des désagréments rencontrés.

Le ponton d’où on peut faire du snorkeling. La maison très spacieuse avec un petit jardin calme. Une mention spéciale pour Melisia qui est très attentionnée et qui prépare des bons petits plats. Mieux qu’au restaurant car on n’attend pas, on se régale en regardant la mer. On choisit les ingrédients et c’est délicieux. Bref, une bonne adresse et une vue de rêve.

We spent a fantastic month at Bay Villa in Trou d'Eau Douce and could not have been happier. The villa sits right on the lagoon, so every meal came with a sweeping turquoise view and a gentle sea breeze. The swimming pool is perfectly placed between the house and the water, which meant we could enjoy the island vibes from the pool’s edge overlooking the bay every day. Inside, everything felt designed for easy living. The kitchen is large and well-stocked. The bedrooms were airy, the beds were large and somewhat comfortable, and the bathrooms were spotless throughout our stay thanks to Melisia (the housemaid) cleaning them daily. The WiFi was fast and steady, which kept work and meetings smooth, and the alarm system added peace of mind fro us during our stay. Generally, the service made the experience even better. Melisia took care of the house with a quiet efficiency that let us relax completely; she kept every room clean and handled any request we had. Isabelle was equally thoughtful, always quick to answer questions and help with arrangements, making us feel looked after from start to finish. If you are after beautiful scenery, reliable comfort, and hosts who genuinely care, The Bay Villa delivers. We left rested, happy, and already planning a return visit next year :)

The pool is shared with other houses, which may sometimes host noisy neighbors and kids. Besides that everything was perfect.

Large house with great views on the bay. Excelent communication with owner, who helped us organize various activities there. Great housekeeper Melissia, who is very good chef, she prepared us wonderful seafood or fish for dinner.

Great views of the bay. Large house with great very warm infinity pool. Great housekeeper, Melisia, who speaks excellent English, who is a very good chef. She cooked up a wonderful fish/shrimp curry. Great communication with owner too. Very good restaurants and sort walk away, some of the best meals we had on our holiday that took in 4 different locations.

All good. When we arrived heard some music coming from the cruise boats returning from trips to Ile aux Cerfs. We cursed them but following day, we went on the same cruise and had a brilliant day out. So really can’t complain about the noise.

The view is amazing , especially in the sunset. The pool is big enough to accommodate everyone. The good place for quite and relaxing family vacation. There are a few grocery shops nearby, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything. The car is a must if You like to explore the island. The host is great , full of useful info, advices and etc. Good value for such price.

There are no good beaches in walking distance, but a good Palmar beach is couple of minutes drive.
