Clean, quiet. Friendly reception made us feel welcome. The place is well kept.

The breakfast was iffy? There are lots of steps/stairs and the driveway is very steep, smaller cars will battle.

I recently stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it the perfect stopover. The hosts were warm, friendly, and welcoming, ensuring I had everything I needed. The peaceful atmosphere made for a great night’s rest, and the overall value for money was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable overnight stay and would happily stay here again.

We need utensils. Also, the ID requirement must be mentioned prior to booking because it is a huge inconvenience.

The breakfast was superb. It was very clean. Keith was very friendly. He welcomed us from the car.

Our room was not cleaned for the 4 days that we stayed there. The privacy, there's no lace cutain or voile in the windows thus we couldnt open the curtains during the day That there's no door to the toilet/bathroom . There's no variety with the breakfast. As mjch as it was a superb breakfast but eating one and the same thing for 4 days ended up being boring.

We felt very welcome, it was a good location for us and comfortable simple room, nice breakfast too

It was a little chilly at the time, but there were electric blankets as an option. Just a little more attention to detail with cleaning perhaps.

There is nothing to like there, the owner was very hostile and not accommodating. I hated every moment there he even chased away our food delivery guy without enquiring with the guest. He had this smirk look on his face everytime he look on us. Every answer of our questions to him were very condescending, I mean what kind of a guest house doesn't have an iron for guest

The fact that the owner is very racist in my opinion he should just state that he wants only white clients 🙄 because what do you mean he didn't have an iron on site but other white guest were ironing their clothing in their laundry room. The guy was very rude to us like he was disappointed that we are blacks. He didn't even greet us when he met and just started complaining. At first he said his last hour for checkin was 5pm but other whites checked in around 8 and he greatly welcomed them, his breakfast was the pits, tasted like rubber

The breakfast was great, we enjoyed it. Compliments to Keith and Chantal for their hospitality. The place is clean, calm and serene. The shower was nice and water was hot enough. I was able to watch my favourite sports channels by logging into my DStv stream app via their TV.

Our first evening didn't go very well. We brought in food hoping that there was a microwave in the room to warm it up. To our surprise, there wasn't one and was told that they don't provide one. So we ate our food cold. At the main entrance to the driveway, there's a trench which almost damaged my car's oil sump having hit it hard. That part of the driveway needs attention or at least a warning sign. The facility is located at a very hilly place and the guests should be informed about it. Some cars may struggle to climb up the driveway. My partner was not comfortable with the proximity/openness of the toilet from the main room. A door or a barrier is recommended.

The reception was warm and welcoming. The room was warm and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.

The steep driveway to get to upper parking. It's a struggle for smaller vehicles.

Racially motivated facilities

The views are spectacular, pool and braai area was amazing. The host I very accommodating and try his best to cater for your needs. Breakfast was good. Overall our stay was perfect.

There is no outside bathroom or a tap to use while braaing.

I prayed for God to direct me to a place where God is the center. The hosts Keith and Chantal truly God sent. Genuine, kind, humble and so welcoming. The Lord knew I needed this place and people with pure hearts. The electric blanket was a nice suprise. Breakfast was absolute stunning and special for those two mornings. Everything was amazing. I found a second home where God is praised, worshipped and loved. I am definitely returning 🥺

The scenery and pool was amazing

Firstly the host couple that watches your every move. Secondly we braaid cause there’s braai facility and after that a storm swept through and we needed to warm our food and were told it’s not self catering and we can’t use the microwave as it’s a bnb, no where did it state on booking.com it’s a bnb. Secondly we thought we could sit and watch soccer in the dining/lounge seeing that the soccer isn’t offered in the bedrooms tv. We were told that’s not allowed we need to go back to our rooms. We stayed for more then one day and our rooms wasn’t cleaned and we had to use the same filth towels provided. There also wasn’t water, they as hosts didn’t even make plan for water in the toilet. Whew worst experience in our lives and never felt treated so badly by hosts, also same breakfast provided over 2 days when we were there.

I liked the swimming pool becasue I was the only one using it.

The location is on a very steep hill with many long steps. Not convenient for walking. Its next to an abandoned forest. No great view. Its an old buliding. The breakfast was the same on both days, late on the second day. The host has too may rules, restrictions and is always present watching what a person does. Lied about the dining area being booked so I would not sit there The bathroom has no door. The host told me "Im not allowed" to use the bathroom outide the room. On check out day before even 5 minutes past 10am they knocked on the room door telling me to leave. Very unwelcoming and unpleasant.

There were no coffe cups in the room so could not have coffee in the room.
