Our 'nicest' accommodation during our trip through Taiwan. Very friendly welcome from the owner, Mrs. Grace. And, Mrs. Lee did everything to let us enjoy our stay. Very good breakfast. A bit challenging to reach the house, but worth to 'climb up the mountain'. We would give even more than 10 points.
The place is simply beautiful, a totally peaceful getaway for city dwellers to enjoy the fresh mountain air and immersed in nature. Wen Qiao Villa is kept very clean and well maintained, even the flowers around the house and in the garden bloomed beautifully. The friendly landlady welcomed us personally when we arrived. She even shared with us some of her food knowing that we must be hungry as we arrived quite late after sunset. She took time to chat with us and made us very comfortable at the villa. We enjoyed the hearty breakfast of porridge and some side dishes. We wished we could have stayed a few more nights here. If I could I would give an 11/10 rating.
Location is quite far deep and road is narrow, enough for 1 car. It is better to arrive before sunset, otherwise it may be quite dangerous to drive
