Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Struttura confortevole in zona poco lontano dal lungomare ma distante dai rumori. Camera piccola ed essenziale ma sufficiente. Buona colazione e gestori molto gentili. C'è anche una piscina che non abbiamo provato.
La zona intorno all'Hostal è abbastanza mal messa, con strada sterrata piena di buche e immondizia, cani, capre e galline. Arrivarci di buio fa un po' impressione, ma non abbiamo avuto nessun problema.

Más ambiente, es decir falta de música para disfrutar en la piscina. Sería bueno que tengan variedad de desayunos, debido a que los días durante la estadía fueron el mismo menú. Aaah también aseo a la piscina por las noches para que al usarla al día siguiente esté limpia... Del resto todo espectacular!

No me gustó que la habitación absorbiera el calor y que no hubiera manera de tener ventilación natural. Lo cual hace que la temperatura del baño sea superior al de la habitación, era en extremo caliente y decidimos hacer mucho uso del aire y el ventilador. Es una cuestión del diseño de la habitación.n

A large group came and were partying until 3am and making so much noise and had very loud music and shouldn't have been allowed to be in the pool at that time but they were. I asked staff to intervene but they carried on partying. It really spoilt my time there as I chose the hostal because it said that it was in a quiet part of the village and I needed to sleep. My room also wasn't very clean and was in need of repainting as had some mold on the ceiling and dirty hand prints and lipstick on the walls. It also needed a bit of effort put into giving it a bit more character.

Reviewed Sep 18, 2025El servicio es bueno , la tarifa incluye un desayuno que puede ser huevos o salchichas fruta jugo pan o arepa, para el precio me parece muy bien, la limpieza de las habitaciones está bien , la piscina es limpia , las habitaciones cuentan con aire , y se encuentra cerca a la playa y la bahía de taganga, una buena opción para estar cómodo si se viaja con niños.
La vía para llegar no es muy buena pero no depende del hotel sino de la alcaldía y la gobernación de santamarta quienes deben preocuparse por sus habitantes y turistas y mejorar la vía

Reviewed Aug 25, 2025lo bueno del alojamiento, todo, primero la amabilidad y disposición al buen servicio de cada uno de los colaboradores del hostal, todos te ayudan en todo momento para lo que necesites. Segundo, las instalaciones, modernas, bonitas, muy seguras par aun viaje en familia con hijos pequeños, lugar cerrado, instalaciones que te permiten disfrutar de la briza en su terraza con hamacas, si necesitas responder a un requerimiento de tus negocios te sientas en la sala al aire libre con ventilador y listo, trabajas sin problema. El desayuno delicioso, con su fruta, huevos al gusto o salchichas. A las 5 de la mañana puedes disfrutar del amanecer con un tinto fresco preparado por el señor Luis, una delicia. Lo último, a 100 metros del puerto de pescadores, un lugar fantástico para conocer la cultura local, conversar con su gente, todos muy amables, caminando a 10, 20 o 30 minutos, diversas playas exóticas, aguas cristalinas de un verde esmeralda, con una careta puedes observar los peces en tus pies.

Reviewed Feb 24, 2025Wonderful staff - very friendly and helpful. The pool is clean and the patio nicely designed with loungers, hammocks and dining. My bed was very comfortable. It's in a good part of town at the quieter end of the beach so easy to get to the main part of everything.
During the week it was quiet but it's basically next to a music venue which was REALLY loud till about midnight.. I stayed on a Sunday night and apparently it's a weekend venue so probably Friday and Saturday nights too. my shower was basically a spout of one weak water stream... There's nowhere to put clothes, There's only one socket point and one overhead light in the room. But it's good enough for what you pay...

They had a breakfast, but they didn't put much effort into it ... it was quite meh ... the bathroom door lock didn't work and the door opened all the time, the bedroom door made a lot of noise with the wind outside, it was very hard to sleep. And the worst... the Internet was really bad, they had 3 WiFi options, nones worked very well.

The room was worn down and when I arrived there were a lot of ants in my bed. On the first night the power went out in the whole town for at least 2 hours and I was working on my laptop in the dark hot room. No one told us anything about the outage and when I asked they said it will be only 30 min. Apparently this is rare, but I don't believe it since I read afterwards that the outages are common there. The worst part was the surroundings of the hostel. It is basically at the end of the town, and the area looks like you stepped in the slums. It did not feel safe at all. Luckily it was about a 5 min walk to the main strip. I am not sure why this place has got such high reviews, because in my opinion it really doesn't deserve the hype.

Reviewed Feb 26, 2024The location it’s horrible, and if you are looking to have a peaceful night/afternoon this is not your place, the door make so much noise and there is people on the streets that will not let you sleep, speaking loud, kids playing by your window and loud music just across the street, no nice.
The breakfast was the only good thing about it.

The first day and breakfast I behaved friendly. They just laughed at me. While I was there. I got really bad service. The next day I was very strict, demanding, and like master and servant. Then the service was much better. Stupid.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2024Very nice hostel with great common facilities (pool, hammocks etc.), really enjoyed relaxing there after a day outside. Since the hostel is rather small, it has a personal atmosphere, where you easily get to know other guests. A bonus were the two cute cats living there.
The floor wasn't really clean when I arrived. The rooms could have had some more hooks for hanging up wet towels. Sometimes it can get very noisy, as it's close to the village centre. Overall still a very good place and I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Reviewed Jan 6, 2024Just few minutes from the beach/restaurants area. Very nice swimming pool and patio! Room was quite small but good enough, with comfortable bed and tv with Netflix! Nice breakfast and very very welcoming and friendly staff. Particularly the gentleman staying overnight (don’t remember the name sorry!) , he also prepared us coffee and some fruit early morning way before breakfast time, as we had to leave for excursion to Tayrona at 6am.
Bathroom needs some fixing, the door of the shower was broken and the head of the shower was rusty. Loud music until 11pm in the swimming pool maybe can be lowered a bit..

Bed: I couldn’t sleep well as the bed was really uncomfortable. Toilet: Toilet quality wasn’t good enough and very small with no air ventilation.
