Clean, simple , enough electric sockets , views and park was great. Nice people , relaxed and quiet.
It was all good but if I were to add things then Could do with picnic bench and seats for each pod. Cafe/ bar limited with offering and the pan o’chocolate tasted metallic after being heated up.
Pod was great. Compfy and warm. Toilets and showers good
Nothing
The location, views and set up is fabulous. The pods themselves a good size
Floor in the pod needed a better clean
Very basic for the price! Uncomfortable, dusty with no kettle or mini fridge. By a main road - no soul
Kettle and mini fridge .. better facilities
Nature and comfort
We had to make beds after a long journey
There were ants in the cabin !
The location is perfect
It was unclean and the duvet had blood stains on it
Good location, easy access to Lyme Regis and short walks to local pubs etc
Uncomfortable beds, shower area needs a big refresh and the cafe wasn’t too inviting
The room was tidy
The ratio of toilets/rooms was a bit small. 4 toilets to 40 rooms to my recollection. After 6m there was no cleaning staff and the toilets would get really nasty by the morning
The Pod that we stayed in had fantastic views. The facilities were very good including showers, toilets, laundry and washing up places. The swimming pool, tennis courts, play areas and table tennis and onsite cafe were all very good. We were even treated to an end of summer party with live music, BBQ and Bingo. All brilliant.
The walk to the toilets included a hill to negotiate in the middle of the night.
Pods were a nice size and each had their own little space outside the pod. The site in general was nice.
Facilities were not clean and smelt bad. We tried to use the facilities as little as possible. The bedding provided for the pods did not really cover the beds and there was a plastic covering on the bed which was uncomfortable to sleep on.
Excellent location
Beautiful clean cosy
The small cabin is cute and cozy. Staff amazing and very friendly.
The pods being so far from facilities meaning toilets and showers. Caravans and static homes have entertainment within them (TV’s) and toilets and showers in them yet they were stationed right by the shared toilets and showers. The pods that have no TV’s within them and no toilets and showers were placed furthest away from the toilets. Especially the fact we were placed in THE furthest pod from the toilets. Another note, after driving for over 5 hours away from busy life we were not expecting to make our own beds. Not knowing what sheet goes on what bed unless you unravel all of the neat folding. The first impression was quite annoying.
Was tidy and clean when we arrived. Lovely dog walk field, and great play park. The pool was also clean and a great size, as was the sauna, which was a little bonus.
Could have done with hooks in a better place, or more hooks, as we could only hang the coats up on the bed posts. There wasn’t a dustpan and brush or anyway of keeping the area tidy.
Excellent location, set up.at site to a high standard. Will stay again.
Cafe Bar shut at 6pm. Few people disappointed after travelling, as we're we. Thought open in evening. Other than that all good.
Lovely facilities, very clean and friendly staff.
The cafe wasn't open the days we stayed unfortunately.
The location is lovely, 20 min walk to the beach which was dog friendly. Lovely little local bakery en route. Overall the pod was great! 2 adults, 2 kids and a dog fitted comfortably. Beds are comfy.
The shop was quite a disappointment, no fresh bread or meat. Closed at 3pm. Also no local cider 🥲 The showers need quite a bit of maintenance, they only stay on for 5 seconds and are so scaled up the water sprays in all directions, you wouldn’t want to wash hair in them is all i can say, you would be there for ages! There was also no soap in the ladies toilets for the duration of my stay (3 nights).
The facilities were great, staff were wonderful.
Pods were behind a road. Noisy and smelly compared to what I am used to.
The site is the perfect location and the pods are really cute. The onsite pool and sauna were great, and the lifeguard there was really friendly and helpful. There is a small shop onsite and staff there were also nice and friendly.
The shared bathroom facilities were really disappointing, there was a broken toilet seat, toilet paper on the floor, blocked toilet and cobwebs inside the toilet cubicles. The shower head was partially blocked in one cubicle, dirty floor in another. I was told that facilities are cleaned during the day, however the clean needs to be more often and more thorough. They are just not nice to use. Also worth noting that the onsite cafe/restaurant is not open every day, we found it closed for half of our stay.
The view from the pod was absolutely fantastic. The pod was cosy and clean. The location gives easy access to the beach and the towns nearby. Great as a base to explore the area.
Some of the shared facilities were not functioning as they should have been or were broken. A site map would also be very handy at the entrance to help to locate your accommodation and the facilities when you arrive.
Was perfect little pod to stay for a couple of days. Lovely warm indoor pool, which wasn’t over crowded even for school holiday. No problem booking the slots we wanted either.
Parking area outside the pod was a little steep and so underside of normal family estate car did scrape. That the only improvement I could recommend needs to be done.
Pros Nice pod Fantastic views Lots of sunshine Location was great Friendly staff Nice little shop Didn’t venture down the hill to the pool or cafe
Cons POD distance to far away need at least a toilet on the higher level especially when you have children Having to walk up and down the hill to the toilet Dirty toilets and showers Broken toilet seats No toilet brush to clean it Timer on shower annoying having to constantly press the button Block is run down needs a rebuild The massive humps that killed my car Humps should be removed or rebuilt no need to be so high Wasps No space for all the kitchen appliances I needed to bring more shelves would be helpful Having to make the bed is the last thing you want to do after a long drive
Been a few times lovely open place very clean great place to stay and relax
Not enough on site needs more
Clean pod lovely location
Facilities don’t stay open long enough, shop/cafe stays open till 3pm that’s not good enough when your travelling from far away and then you have to go out and find someone to eat. toilet/shower block need updating showers stay on for literally 3 seconds so lime scaled up water doesn’t flow properly. Taps in the sink the same water so hot it scolds you. Toilets disgusting.
We have been before lovely place. Beautiful scenery and peaceful.great location close to beaches. We went swimming and it’s booked for 45mins that’s more than enough.
Our pod beds were un made we had to do them. The shared bathroom facilities were quite dirty and run down. The shower runs for about 3 seconds before you have to press the button again. The restaurant only sells snacks until 5 and it’s quite expensive. I ordered x2 white wines x2 j20s, a lemonade pack of crisps and slice of chocolate cake £33 was the bill. I live in London and it’s not that expensive.
The pod was more spacious than I had feared prior to arrival, it was perfect for a couple of nights between a family of four. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the location was lovely. Massive bonus to have the use of the swimming pool and courts included free of charge! We didn’t bother paying for the WiFi- there was some phone signal (it was unreliable but did the job for us) and we didn’t want to be stuck to screens anyway. The washing facilities were ok, but I discovered that the individual shower and WC rooms just behind our main block were much better. The site was a short drive from both Charmouth beach and Lyme Regis (about 5mins to Charmouth beach, around 10 to Lyme Regis) which was perfect for us. It was also quiet on site, which made for a very peaceful setting. All in all, we had a really good time and my teen and child daughters are both keen to stay there again.
I think some lights to guide the way to the toilet block would have been beneficial at night. We also had some problems locking the door of our pod, which may be an issue for some people.
The location is perfect, the view is stunning from the top row of camping pods. Bed linen was all clean for us to put onto the beds on arrival, welcome pack was full of all the information we needed and all of the staff across the site were very friendly. Coffee was good in the café and the children loved the play areas too.
It’s a steep hill to get down to the swimming pool and café and the facilities block is quite dated. It was in an awful state most mornings (although I think this might have been to do with the large group of campers staying near the block sadly). We did also get a lot of ants in the pod.
The Location is perfect with a 6 min drive. The dog walk to the lake area is beautiful and well kept as was the lawns and outside areas.
Pods were not clean at all...floor clearly had not been washed for months as digustingly dirty on arrival when we took our shoes off outside the pod and walked in. Not good to start your stay like that. Beds were very uncomfortable. Pods were incredibly hot. Table was dirty. Ablution block was dirty especially toilets ...definitely not been deep cleaned nor daily cleaning as toilet bowl bottoms were black. The toilet seats were not straight or maintained at all. The taps were extremely annoying hell of a noise and kept going off and you have to keep pushing it on. The showers were the same...constant overflowing of water onto standing area outside showers. Showers noisy and kept going off. Last two days there was no hot water so could not shower. Told reception who had no care at all that we couldn't shower. Lady in the shop at the front entrance was rude. The main cafe / area was closed all the time so could not get breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Area around and in the cafe is not dog friendly. I would not stay in the Pods again. Too hot, dirty, and small and the ablutions are definitely not up to standard. It's really a shame as the holiday park is beautiful.
Really clean and comfortable
Nothing
Cute. Nice views. Good amenities
Camping pods were super cute. Beds were comfy and site staff were friendly.
Space between pods
No hot water and road noise
Very peaceful and well maintained site in a great location.
The pods would be a lot better if a fridge and fan where included
The view and and the camping pods
The common toilet
The views
Only that it was quite small with 4 people
Amazing views from the campsite, good facilities, clean rooms, and comfy beds. Feels spacious, with good play areas, a pool, tennis courts, and a cafe with croissants and coffee.
The cafe closes for one day a week.
Very nice AND CLEAN !! I WILL BACK THERE !! ;)
Pods good value, clean, comfortable. Bus stops nearby, or a 15-20 minute walk to the beach.
Lovely pods and amazing location. You're wthin a 5 minute drive to Charmouth beach or 10 minuet drive to lyme regis, both are great! Lyme regis if you're wanting a nice walk etc. The site was lovely, kept clean and the staff seemed nice! Take Crocs - its a pebble beaches so you can go in the sea with them!
The overall site was nice and clean, but the shared facilities can be kept clearer of water if only someone would attend each morning instead of early afternoon. Also, more attention to the mens area, my partner and son didn't like going. The best advice is to take Crocs so you can shower in them!!
Lovely views. Clean. Great facilities. Friendly staff
Friendly staff, lovely site with beautiful views, great onsite heated indoor pool which was exceptionally clean and well managed/staffed, superb park for kids. The pod itself was great, clean, perfect base for exploring.
Pods were close to a main road which wasn’t an issue but was unexpected. Didn’t hear the road from inside the pod so no issues but worth noting.
Loved yhe views from the pods, was amazing waking up to it every morning. The beds were so comfortable. Couldn't fault the pods at all. Would be great if they had a small mini fridge inside the pod just so you can have a cuppa in the morning. But thats just me beeing picky.
Only thing we had was on the sunday, the cafe was shut yill 12 due to sickness. But again sickness can't really be helped.
Lovely location, friendly staff.
Na
Pods spacious enough and served a purpose for us to come to Dorset fossil hunting. Facilities good with pool, tennis etc and good location. Toilet blocks clean and not busy.
Outside pods had scraps of food and other items left which we had to pick up so our dog didnt eat them. Old dog treat raw hide, beer bottle metal lid, onion net, hair band, veg peeling on wooden step, sunglasses arm. Underneath beds had not been swept and were incredibly dusty.
Quiet place
The toilets
Lovely site. Impeccable pods and clean blocks not far from the pods. Showers hot - but water from taps very hot ! Comfy beds too.
Outside socket would have been great !
Looks great from the outside And a peaceful and picturesque view Swimming pool was fantastic
Cold showers Dirty toilets Cobwebs in pod Cafe is very very limited in options and opening hours
Nice pods, close to the next, but we knew this. Doors of the pods can be a bit of a wiggle to close, but good. Very friendly personnel and nice location
Just perfect pods in great location with good facilities!
Only thing that was good about this property were the dog fields & Adrian
Where to start: Toilet and shower facilities absolutely disgusting to the point where we didn’t shower. No dog poo bins Cafe - No coffee, no service, ran out of sausages & only offer sausage or bacon bap, tbh Cafe is not what I’d call it. Constant Traffic as right next to dual carriage way. Beds and pods filthy. No fridge to keep anything cool.
It was nice and clean and lovely pool good facilities
A bit nicer seating area outside like a picnic bench would have been nice
The pod was the perfect size for my two sons and I. Great location to explore Charmouth and Lyme Regis. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool was a good size and had floats and pool toys we could use. Bins, airer and broom provided in the pods.
The toilet/ shower block could have been cleaner (lots of toilet paper on floor and dirty floors. Didn’t see a cleaning checklist anywhere). The floor in the pod was dirty too. Also lots of ants around the bins.
Cosy pod.
Too close to the road and disappointingly grubby facilities.
Cute pod
Very basic, grubby toilets. Took over 12hrs to clean up vomit only 3 out of 7 toilets working. No landscaping around pod. Felt like a car park. Check out was 10am and at 10.01 they were knocking on the door. Coffee machine in cafe broken. No club house. Very weird atmosphere in the place. Would not go back.
Clean
Na
Safe clean and comfortable
Not a dislike but suggested a bench in the dog field
Very clean comfortable good facilitys nice location
Rather expensive for a single nights stay
The Pod, and the views
The toilet block was dated and not well maintained.
Comfortable pod for a fun stay. Great you can park your car next to your pod for easy access to belongings.
Great location and clean
The mattresses had a plastic outer cover so when you moved in the night it was noisy
L’originalité de l’hébergement, la piscine, la proximité avec Lyme Regis et la gentillesse du personnel !
Lovely park and setting. Plenty of room for kids to play safely. Goats and sheep. Pod is surprisingly roomy to sleep 4.
Shared toilets not cleaned enough.
We had a great stay in a pod for a couple of night Enjoyed visiting 4 of the beautiful beaches nearby so convenient for what we wanted just a little break to recharge Staff were super friendly and helpful
Road noise but not a lot you can do about that am sure it won't bother everyone and we both slept well despite the traffic
Brilliant location, staff friendly and good facilities on site. Overall good value for money.
Certainly wasn’t expecting 5* however pods could have been cleaned better alongside beds being made prior to check in. Also Ant problem needs addressing as it was particularly bad the two days we stayed.
Amazing location, beautiful views, pods are spacious
Toilets were a distance from quite a few pods, they are dated and not clean. Pod felt slanted and mattress wasn’t comfortable.
Good value in a great location
A use of a fridge would have made this so much better, maybe a little more outdoor furniture close to the pods also.
Iots of pace between the Pods and the site is very clean and quiet
Außergewöhnliche Pods.
Die Sanitären Anlagen könnten etwas sauberer sein.
Nicely situated close to the beach with great views over the surrounding countryside. Staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful.
Nothing
Location of our pod (7) overlooking everything. Swimming pool was very good, clean and the staff member very welcoming. Very useful having the washing up area and a fridge to use for our food as it was so very hot while we were there.
The toilets were not very clean. Every toilet bowl needed good quality bleach put down to clear the brown stains in the bottom of them. Also I often had to look in each cubicle to find one that actually had toilet paper in it. The thermostats on the showers didn’t control the temperature well and they were too hot making it very difficult to shower. My son and I overcame this by swimming every day in the pool and using the showers there afterwards as they were so much better.
Toilets were dirty, blocked urinals for the two days I was there. Pods are not for us lack of facilities also about the same price of caravan with all facilities, would use again for overnight stay.
Location was good
Toilet quite far from pod and down a steep hill. It would have been good to have a fridge and kettle in the pod as they had electricity. Also it was really hot so a fan would have been useful
Nobody told us that the caffè and the restaurant would have been closed. We had hard time to find something to eat even because we arrived very late.
It wasn't far from the beach. The pubs wasn't to far away. Swimming pool was good. Not sure about the sauna no mist just dry heat. Could do with little fridge and a kettle. But over all it was a good experience.
No fridge or kettle. Kept banging my head on top bunk bed. Didn't need a top bunk. More help should be offered getting you connected to WiFi you have to pay for, it wasn't that great, kept disconnecting.
This is the 3rd time we have stayed here in the last 6 months and we love it. The scenery is beautiful. The location is perfect and we love popping to Lyme Regis which is about a 7 min drive away.
It would be super if the shop on site was open longer and the cafe offered more varieties of food and until later. Also it would be great if companies like deliveroo or Uber Eats delivered to Wood Farm.
(1) it was the only reasonably priced option between Lyme Regis and Weymouth (2) the staff were helpful (3) the communal washing facilities were kept clean.
(1) the shop was open for not one, not two but a whole 4 hours a day ! Mind you life must be even worse for the cleaners who clearly felt that putting sheets on a bed and dealing with pillow cases were completely beneath them so they were left in a neat pile on the table with a notice asking guests to strip their beds before they checked out which I made damn sure not to. (2) wifi is £12 a day (3) no towels obviously - just in case the vermin who stay here steal and/or eat them, the mattresses were sealed in plastic so as to be nice and uncomfortable and the showers had those timer buttons which have to be pressed at 9 second intervals as clearly the people who stay at this place can't be trusted with a normal free flow shower. (4) a fan to cope in the 32 degree heatwave? No way !- just remember to stay well away from the garden shed erm I mean Pod between the hours of 8am - 7pm. (5) a swimming pool that had to be booked in advance and closed at 5pm just to be on the safe side (6) no communal cooking facilities nor fridge/freezers.
Loved it . Perfect in every way
Clean facilities, beautiful views, grounds well maintained and great location.
No cooking facilities or common areas you would expect at a holiday park, wouldn’t recommend for families. Has a pool but closes at 5pm. Mattresses were very hard and covered in plastic, so in current heatwave were very hot.
Great location!
The camping pods are not designed with summer in mind. Literally baked inside the wooden hut covered in asphalt.
It was clean and quiet
In the hot weather the pods were vey hot and no way to cool them down
Lots of space, lovely views, friendly people
Lots of hills, was quite a lot of noise from the main road from loud motorbikes/cars.
Amenities are great! Pool, greenery, pitches etc.
It was not to bad but definitely I am not recommending during summer break, to hit inside and only one tiny window, no fresh air
The outside look
Lots of space and close to toilet facilities.
Could’ve done without bunk beds and previous peoples clothes were left under bed and weren’t cleaned out.
The location of the site is perfect for beaches, walks and is peaceful. There is plenty of space around the log cabins for children to play and for dogs to be on a tether.
The facilities could have been cleaner and kept better, we stayed Friday to Sunday and the toilets were always quite messy with toilet paper all over the floor and not as clean as could be, the shower facilities do not have anything to clean the floor etc like most places so it was a case of leaving the shower to dry.
Well positioned in geographical terms
Very basic having just 2 sockets. No facilities like other pods we have rented with shower, toilet, kitchen, fridge and microwave. Noisy road close to the pods which is the beginning of a dual carriageway so most traffic drive crazy from the roundabout.
