The home cooked food here is very good and worth it to have if you want simple tasty meals without any frills! Also, the homestay owners are very courteous and polite. They can offer to take you to and from the homestay to the Great Wall Mutianyu included with the entrance ticket fee that is similar/same to the charges at the gate. Finally, he also drove us all the way back to Beijing airport for my friend and for me (to my hostel) for a reasonable fee. They are good people and the place is comfortable and enjoyable! I recommend staying here!

The hospitality of the hosts was so warm, inviting, and they were more than willing to drive us to the shuttle bus for the Great Wall, and into Beijing! If we had any questions they were excellent at providing the answer.

Genuinely, there wasn't anything that we didn’t like.

Отель новый, все чисто аккуратно, удобное расположение. Но самое главное это хозяева, очень внимательные и отзывчивые люди. У нас по времени были сутки, стыковка между рейсами, заранее решили посетить Великую Китайскую стену. Хозяин предложил помощь в организации посещения Великой Стены, привез к входу, передал нас своему другу, который купил билеты, все рассказал, довел прям до места где поднимаются, все объяснил. Если бы сами все организовали потеряли минимум час. Рано утром хозяин отеля нас отвез в аэропорт (это 1,5 часа езды), цена соразмерна ДиДи. Очень душевные люди, рекомендую👍🏻

Super clean, new, big space

Nothing really, a little far from where we want to go but the host was very kind to take us and organise to pick us up happily

Cao hai bi was the best host I met in China ! My trip was amazing, and I recommend you guys to wake up at 7am and go for the great wall at 8am MAXIMUM otherwise one is gonna wait hours in a queue and sometimes you can even visit it !

The property is in a small village next to Mutianyu Great Wall. It’s so convenient yet so quiet and tranquil. The property owners are super helpful and nice. We loved the comfort of the property as well as their prosperity and home cooking cuisines!

Everything about the property was perfect. Especially the restaurant on site, it's the family owned and the chef is the mom. It's soooooo tasty and they were also happy to take us to pharmacy and translate for us (free of charge) and drop us off at the beijin city with little extra price. We couldn't have a happier stay. So friendly and accommodating.

Very easy to communicate with, great location, delicious food, great service. Lovely couple who happily take you to the entrance to the Great Wall and help you get tickets.

The beds are very hard, and uncomfortable.

The place was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect to spend the night near to the great wall. The owners were very kind all the time and very flexible, although they do not t speak english they use translator and are very comunicative at all times. We asked for the transfer from the airport to the accommodation and from there to Beijing city centre. They help us to get to the great wall. They also have a restaurant in the building were you can have breakfast/lunch or dinner, we enjoy the food a lot. Wish them all the best.

Teh staff was super!! They took us to the Great Wall and help us with the ticket! They also help us how to get there, which bus take and everything.

Fantastic family owned hotel. Very kind owners with personal attention to every guest. The suite is huge with beautiful garden and rooftop terrace. The food is homemade and delicious. The round transfer between Beijing and the hotel was top. Thank you for the very pleasant and relaxing stay :)

We loved our stay at Yue Tong Farm House. The couple was so kind and helpful and made our layover in Beijing worthwhile. They picked us up at the airport, made us a delicious dinner, the room was big and clean (mattress is a bit hard though), cooked us another delicious breakfast in the morning and took us to the great wall afterwards. In the end picked us up again and drove us to the airport. Everything went flawless. Although neither speak English, the translator does the job and the smiles do the rest.

Very good location and fantastic hosts always smiling and availabe, the restaurant is also good !

Maybe I was unlucky, but I got the room near the reception, acoustic isolation is basically absent and some people were loudly talking at 5 AM, which of course wakes you up many times.

Very friendly and helpful. Nice location and view. Opposite of good Restaurant. 2.5 km from entrance to the Great Wall.

Yue Tong Farmer House is very new and very clean

The village is a award winning model village. The home stay is comfortable and home cooked foods is good.

Perfect base to go see the Great Wall. I did this on a 144 hour long layover visa and it worked flawlessly. They'll pick you up from the airport, give you free breakfast and cook you a delicious dinner, then charge everything at the end! Such a kind and beautiful family. They even shuttled me to the ticket office and back. Can't recommend enough!

Incredibly helpful staff, very clean, lovely food and good value for money. They were more than happy to give us tips and help arrange an airport transfer. The owner also cooks very well:)

Loved our stay there. The location was excellent. The village peaceful, charming and clean. The people really nice. The hosts took us to the ticket office of Great wall and came to pick us up- we also arranged with them the transportation to airport going back. They were really adorable and sweet. Highly recommended - as mentioned in the other posts, language was not a real issue. We all managed to communicate and had an incredible stay. We loved the open space concept of the place. Made you feel as part of the family.

Stuff is very good and help us starting from collecting us from airport with low rate and make the check in without take the money and drop us to great wall of china free. The room is very Beautiful. And ms. Siri speaking english very well and her mother is great women. I give them gifts because i am felling they are my family. Thanks too much

The property was modern, beautiful and exceptionally clean. The food was very nice, especially the egg plant and trout dishes...compliments to the chef. The staff/hosts went the extra mile to make our stay pleasant, we felt very welcome.

There was nothing to dislike, our stay was great.

I liked this place very much. It was fantastically clean and new, the owners and daughter were very warm and friendly. It is 100% safe and secure. The price for _two_ nights including two dinners (I ordered from a menu and the extra was added to my total) and two breakfasts, as well as some snacks and drinking water and a taxi there for my trip to the Great Wall, all for only 1,060 Yuan ( less than $200CAD, or $145USD). The daughter XinRui speaks English fairly well, her father (Mr. Cao) is a kind and gentle man and his wife is welcoming and an excellent cook. Neither of her parents can speak any English but Mr. Cao uses a translation app to communicate. I speak some Chinese which helped a lot.

The room was chilly the first night until I asked for a heater. There was excellent shampoo but no soap or toothpaste until I asked. They are learning foreigners' different expectations. The 5G wifi only worked outside my room. I am sending them a direct message about any issues and I am sure that they will adjust everything accordingly.

Great hotel near the Great Wall, very close to the ticket office. They picked me up from the ticket office with car and dropped me off the next day. There is restaurant downstairs. The building is nice and modern. Good communication, everybody was very helpful. Thank you.

Bed little bit too hard! Bit far from the ticket office on foot but they took me there with car so no big deal

The owners went on and behind to make sure I'm happy. They picked me up with out charge from the wall, showed me where was my bus stop and even brang me there with a hand written note so I could make it back to the city. The home made food was delicious and I had so much fun playing pool against the chef.

The mattress was a little bit thin and hard but that's my personal opinion since I love soft mattresses.
