Reviewed Jul 16, 2026Voor ons als wielerliefhebbers is de locatie fantastisch. En als er een koers met de Muur van Geraardsbergen op tv is, weten wij hoe die verloopt! Elke dag de muur opgelopen en op de top bij de kapel genoten van het uitzicht. Ook een wandeling door het landschap naar de Bosberg gemaakt!
Zelf hadden wij moeite met de steile trap naar de slaapkamer in de nacht.

Las escaleras, son típicas allí, pero pueden resultar un poco peligrosas por la noche.

Reviewed Jan 1, 2026Een zeer sfeervol ingericht en knus huisje met een prachtige ligging. Een mooie uitvalsbasis naar het hoogste punt van Geraardsbergen (kapelletje) en een prachtige wandeling naar het centrum.
De open trap waardoor kinderen die eerder naar bed gingen lastig konden slapen

Reviewed Oct 10, 2025Das Haus ist praktisch eingerichtet und alles ist sehr sauber. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist absolut ruhig und trotzdem nah am Zentrum.
Wir haben nur eine Teekanne vermisst ;-)

Reviewed Aug 24, 2025Het huisje is aan de beklimming van de muur en dat is top voor liefhebbers van fietsen.
Het tweede bed staat onder de schuine kant van het dak en daardoor liggen je voeten tegen het dak. Ook de trap naar de slaapkamer is erg steil en je moet oppassen om niet je hoofd te stoten.

Reviewed Jun 10, 2025Wonderful little spot in a great location. Had everything we needed for a long weekend. Lovely seating area outside to watch cyclists tackle the Muur.
Everything was great and exactly like the photos. Some reviews complained about the steepness of the stairs but they are very normal compared to what you get in the Netherlands and we found them fine to use. Our kids managed fine too. Only thing that would have been nice to have was a barbecue.

Reviewed Jun 2, 2025A delightful property in a picturesque location. Spotlessly clean and thoughtfully presented. I’d happily return. Geraardsbergen made a welcome contrast to the busier cities of Gent and Brussels.
The stairs were steeper than we thought, but no problem if you take them slowly. It would’ve been nice to have an oven, but for a short stay, it wasn’t a big deal.
