Loved the remote location between cities and yet only 15 minutes from Kilkenny. Cute use of space inside and lovely sitting area outside.

We didn’t have more time to just enjoy it.

It was a lovely stay, good communication, easy to get into the place, everything that we needed was there + lovely extra breakfast and a drink. The place is great, a good bed.

Excellent in every aspect and nice and quiet.

Le lit était parfait ! Logement complet avec tous les équipements (micro-onde, frigo, lave-vaisselle, four, plaque de cuisson, bouilloire et grille-pain) avec de quoi faire un bon petit déjeuner. Gitta est vraiment aux petits soins. C’était sympa de voir le cheval et d’être au calme. Nous pouvions arriver à l’heure que nous voulions

Gitta was an amazing host. As others say, this is a wonderful place to stay, and I wish it was for more than a night! The host fully stocked the fridge and had plenty of items provided for breakfast, which was so kind. The room was spotless and well fitted, it is kept in great condition. The site was as quiet and tranquil as I have visited, absolutely wonderful. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

I could not rate the staff as we never met them. We wanted a peaceful start to our holiday in Ireland and this place was perfect. Could not fault it.

Gita is wonderful! The place is really cute and very restful. It was very well stocked and comfortable. I would have liked to stay another night but plans did not allow. There was an issue with my card clearing before I arrived and I was able to speak directly to Gita and come up with a resolution while we waited for the bank to correct the problem.

There was an issue with the water heater but Gita attended to it straight away. She was very responsive.

It was comfortable and very well equipped. Loved Áine the horse who was in the field behind the Stable. Gitta had left food for breakfast which was very thoughtful of her.

de locatie is geweldig, gelegen bij een boerderij aan een doodlopende weg, een knusse verbouwde stal en een goede keuken om zelf te koken. Er stond van alles klaar, zoals: verse aardbeien, jam, Guiness, Irish Whiskey. John en Gitta zijn erg gastvrij. Er kwam in het weitje achter huis nog een logé, een renpaard die ons iedere ochtend even verwelkomt.

eigenlijk maar één ding, iets om echte koffie te maken, bijv. een percolator of eenvoudige koffiemachine (Senseo).

Fantastic accommodation in a converted old horse stable. Very clean, completely quiet, and exceptionally well equipped. It exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night – I would have happily stayed longer.

Było wszystko, czego potrzebowaliśmy na jedną noc. Bardzo dziękujemy za jajka, ser, chleb i td na śniadanie 😍 Spotkała nas też fajna atmosfera i włączona muzyka w środku, mega! Obiekt na żywo jest dużo lepszy, niż na zdjęciach :)

The is a beautifully redone horse stable. Very comfortable and clean. The choices left for breakfast were wonderful especially the lemon cake.

There isn't good signage to direct you to the stable.

Everything, the attention to detail. The food that was provided. The notes from the host. The decor. The books. The wood stove along with kindling. The cleanliness. The bed was so comfy and the radio was softly playing when I arrived ❤️

Waking up to the sound of birds and being in the countryside was a relaxing experience. The Stable was a self contained apt with all the amenities you needed, plus Gitta provided some nice breakfast items ie milk, eggs, muesli, tea and drink.

This small cottage is incredibly cosy and has everything you need to switch off. I particularly enjoyed the sunsets here. The hosts were super friendly and welcomed us with cake and coffee. We will come back to this beautiful place

It was lovely and quite and Gitta made the place have a cosy atmosphere. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was plenty of wood to light the stove. I couldn’t recommend the place more.

There was nothing I didn’t like about my stay, it’s a great place to stay.

Πανέμορφη τοποθεσία πραγματικά σε ηρεμεί. Το γεγονός ότι παλιά ήταν στάβλος κάνει ακόμη πιο μαγική τη διαμονή ☺️ η Gitta ήταν πολύ φιλική και την ευχαριστούμε για όλα τα καλούδια που μας προσέφερε !

A little tricky to find in the dark (our Ferry was delayed for 2 hours) but a phone call to Gitta sorted it and she met us on arrival. The stable was spotless, comfortable and welcoming and we are happy to recommend it to anyone wanted a peaceful and comfortable location. The food left for breakfast was perfect and was all we needed.

Struggled a bit with water pressure in the shower and had to give up trying to get the TV to work. Overall these were minor issues.

Beautiful property. Very cosy and has everything you need to enjoy the stay. Lovely remote setting

the location was nice but the best part was how clean the property was. We only stayed one night but the bed was so comfortable we actually slept a half our after our check out time. Gita made getting into the property easy and I would love to stay here again.

TV didn’t work , also shower could have had safety mat on floor of shower, a few more plug points wouldn’t have gone astray

The shower head doesn’t work very well, but that’s the only downside I could mention about the accommodation. It’s very cozy and quiet.

We loved the location. It was peaceful, charming and had heaps of space including a well appointed kitchen. Thanks Gitta for all the food you left for us too.

Very comfortable stay at The Stable. All needs available in a small space. Gitta & John were very friendly and warm welcoming. Breakfast food was supplied. The Stable is set in a lovely country surrounding. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the fields.

This place is an absolute gem. Amazing what they got into a small area without cluttering it up and still plenty of room. Great facilities and lovely breakfast. Highly recommended.

It’s private and well stocked and accommodating! The apartment is charming and comfortable on beautiful property. We loved the wood stove.

For a one room place it was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Everything you need.

My only thought is maybe a small sign to let the traveler know that you have arrived at the right place. For those dummies like myself who didn’t review his email from the host.

The hosts went above and beyond in every way. Lots of extra effort with homemade muesli, bread, fruit, milk, eggs, jam and cheese. The accommodation was perfect with a fully kitted kitchen, comfortable chairs, and bed along with outdoor furniture so you could sit and look out over the green paddocks with its resident horses. Kilkenny is a beautiful place with its rolling green hills. This little haven has been one of the highlights of our trip.

Quirky little place.Warm and cozy! A basket of shopping essentials left for us to work away with - definitely value for money and private.

The self contained unit was perfect, spacious, well designed and styled and cosy. The bed was very comfortable and the host had left some food for tea coffee and breakfast. Highly recommend
