Echte aanrader.
Alles was perfect
1. Spacious, clean room with two isolated bedrooms, two bathrooms, large terraces, kitchen and access to the Nubian-style roof. The photos are real. 2. Abu Simbel Museum ticket offices are 10-15 minutes away by leisurely walk. By Egyptian standards, the surroundings are quite pleasant. 3. Ramadan is a wonderful, friendly host with fluent English (it is a rarity in Egypt). 4. Ramadan has its own Nubian restaurant in Abu Simbel (with tasty local cuisine), several high-quality cars for transporting tourists, an arrangement with boaters (to meet the dawn at Lake Nasser) – for a reasonable fee he can organize turnkey trip. He provided us with a transfer in a new and comfortable minivan from Aswan Airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the center of Aswan with check-in and waiting on the Aswan Plateau and at Philae Island. We also agreed with him on an individual transfer from Aswan to Luskor with a stop in Kom Ombo, Edfu and Esna.
There are no significant disadvantages, everything was really good. There are no supermarkets in the area. The restaurant closest to the hotel that we saw was to the right of the museum entrance. It takes about 4 hours to visit the temples in Abu Simbel (it's better to start right at 6:00 a.m., while it's not hot and there are no crowds of tourists) - it's worth it.
The flat was clean, comfortable, with a nice bathroom. Everything seems to have been renovated recently. 2 nice terrace where you can take your breakfast. Close to Abu Simbel centre. Nice breakfast and landlord who can get your tickets to the night show (beautiful) for the same price as the official one, but without queuing.
La gentillesse de Ramadan
Everything was perfect and clean and modern. The owner is fantastic he arranged everything for us. Good location and very comfortable place. Thank Ramadan
Everything was good 👍
Very nice host. quite location and easy to walk to Abu Simbel Temple
bathroom is a bit cold. The area rugs are slippery.

Large, well decorated rooms and bathrooms with direct access by foot to the temple or places to eat. Breakfast was perfect Our host arranged a boat trip to discover the temple before the sunset, great times.
Cosy room, hospitality of the host, good lovation.
location is good the owner is really nice!
La Cultura
La cucina, fa troppo caldo
Nicely decorated and well provided two-bedroom apartment. Laundry machine and fridge with drinks and fruit gratis. Close to the temples and a hotel that sells beer! Ramadan was an exceptional host, providing transport, information and excursions. Couldn’t have asked for better!
Slippery floor in the shower, but sandals are provided.

A very quiet and lovely place close to the temple. Food is awesome.
The room was very clean and smelled nice with a beautiful view of the sea and the mountains. It was a wonderful night in addition to the services provided by the owner of the place. He provided us with a lot of entertainment, friendliness and help in knowing the town. If I thought of going again, I would not stay in any other room with its friendly owner🥰thanks ramadan 🥰
Honestly I didn't stay longer.
A very suitable place to stay for a few days without any shortage, as you will not lack anything because the owner of the apartment, Ramadan, is very helpful, respectful and very welcoming to guests and seeks to make your stay easy and comfortable. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable and lack nothing, with a complete breakfast meal that suits all tastes and high cleanliness with a beautiful view from the balcony. I was happy to stay in the place and it was a successful choice and I hope that it will be repeated and I advise anyone coming to try it
No thing at all🙂
Good location, nice host and good breakfast. The room has a balcony with good view.
The room was good enough for our 1 night in Abu Simbel. A/C worked well. We were served a lovely breakfast on our balcony by our host, Ramadan. The big story here is our host - Ramadan. He couldn't do enough for us! He personally chauffeured us from the airport, to and from the temples, to and from dinner, and finally back to the airport, all for free! No one has ever done so much for their guests. thank you Ramadan!
Room was good enough. Like many places in Egypt there are few options between $100 and $300 per night. We would stay here again!
Too expensive

I had a fantastic stay at this guest house! The owner was incredibly responsive throughout my visit. He received us with welcome drink and fruits. The location is just a 20-minute walk to Abu Simbel Temple, making it super convenient for exploring. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh omelets, bread, and hot coffee—a great way to start the day. But what really stood out was the host’s kindness. After checking out, I accidentally left a small bag behind. Not only did he notice it right away and try to contact me immediately, but he also took the effort to drive a shortcut to return it to me personally. It was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture that truly made my experience special!
nothing
Our host Ramadan’s Nubian Guesthouse is lovely - maybe the nicest place we stayed during our six weeks in Egypt. Ramadan built the guesthouse from scratch, gradually expanding it to its current four rooms. It was a joy to sit on the large balcony as the sun went down - there are even screens on the doors to keep the mosquitoes out of the room. We enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant Ramadan recommended and we wandered around the small town of Abu Simbel in the evening. Ramadan picked us up at the airport, brought us to the temples and drove us back to the airport when our visit was over. He made everything so easy for us.
Nothing!
this is best one hostel in egypt i have stay, especially shower and drainage. The owner is very kindly and friendly. He help us to clean our car. I an so appreciate his doing. I strong recommend it if you plan to abu simbl.
Good walking distance to restaurants and the temple (you can also go by car). The rooms are spacious and very clean. The breakfast was great.
nothing!
We had a good size apartment with two bedrooms, a kitchen and two bathrooms, which I guess could be rented out as one or two apartments. It was comfortable and very conveniently located - walking distance to both Abu Simbel temple and the town. We had breakfast on the balcony leading off one of the bedrooms, which was greatly enhanced by Ramadan appearing with some of the freshest, tastiest falafel I've ever had. We had wondered about visiting Abu Simbel as a day trip, but we were glad we stayed - we weren't rushed at the temple and got to do the sound and light show - and Abu Simbel itself is a nice town, with friendly people. Unlike other tourist towns, we didn't feel we were being asked to buy something every time we walked down the street, which made for a nice evening walk.
We liked everything
Nice, and clean hotel. Unbelievebly kind owner.
Nearby temples. Clean. New.
It’s very independent. Not on Main Street. Kitchen needs to be cleaned up. Remove other personal items from guest rooms.
Ramadan is an extraordinary host, who goes above and beyond to accommodate his guests with happiness and joy. He took every effort to make our stay memorable, organized entry tickets for the night show in Abu Simbel on very short notice, drove us personally to the location, then brought us to an authentic place where we enjoyed fantastic food. He took every effort to make us feel like we were family. Can’t recommend staying in this guest house enough.

We have a 2-bedroom apartment which includes a kitchen and 2 bathrooms. There are plenty of space for a family and your luggages. Having 2 bathrooms helps for a family when eveyrbody want to go to the bathroom at the same time. Each bedroom also has a connected terrace to enjoy. The place is clean and nicely decorated. The refrigerator has a fruit tray and plenty of bottled water. The breakfast was good and eggs were served the style that you liked. My wife likes sunny-side up eggs. She showed the owner how it is done, and the owner made one for her. I will return if come back again.
This is not necessarily a negative. If one turns off the water heater, it will take about 20 minutes or more to have hot water.
We planned to stay one night in Abu Simbel and we ended staying two! the village is very relaxing, quite, good food and the people are beautiful. The light show at Abu Simbel temple is amazing and unforgettable. Ramadan can also organise a boat trip if you want, he is an amazing host and guide, he helps you with anything you need and want to do. We received free transportation to the temple and he also helped us to get a private ride to Aswan in a a very good price. The apartment is very comfortable and clean, the bed and pillows too. It is a shame so many tours just come to see the temples for the morning before returning to Aswan, as they miss out the wonderful, calm atmosphere here. We highly recommend to stay here! Thank you Ramadan for your hospitality!
Nothing
Very friendly and hospitable host. Very comfortable apartment, clean and cozy. Good location close to Abu Simbel temples.
the Guest House has a real Nubian feel with great views, super quiet and felt really safe The breakfast was wonderful and the location was perfect Ramadan went over and above what was expected. Truly the perfect host who will help you in any way he can
That i wished i had booked for longer
The Hoster is a very friendly local man who is very patient and respectful of his guests. He was very reliable and considerate. We booked tickets for the light show that night and the sunrise boats the next day by him .he was very punctual and always contacted us 5 minutes before we were going, which made our trip very comfortable. There were welcome refreshments when we checked in, mineral water and fruit in the fridge, and he prepared coffee and tea for us at breakfast. A very memorable stay and will book again next time.
We were the only ones on the first floor, enjoying the refrigerator full of water, drinks and fruits. The air conditioner and electric fan in the room are very cold. I will share it with my friends.
The owner is a great person, kind, easy to talk and share with. The hotel is beautiful and comfortable
The rooms are clean, private, have air conditioning, a kitchen, and a washing machine.
The location is very quiet. away from restaurants
Good location for your me night stay in Abu Simbel
Big spacious rooms that were spotlessly clean and with comfortable beds. The showers were excellent too. The apartments were well equipped and the upstairs one had a nice big balcony to sit out on. Breakfast was very good and the owner went above and beyond to be helpful, including giving us welcome soft drinks, water, and a selection of fruit, driving us to a restaurant for lunch, and picking us in the evening after the light show was cancelled due to technical issues. He also organised a nice boat trip for us. This was one of the nicest places we stayed in Egypt and it was well worth spending the night to avoid the crowds and not have 6+ hours of travelling in a single day.
Nothing.
The spacious room, the distance to the Abu Simbel Temple, and the nice host
Very large and nice room Helpful and nice owner Ramadan Nice breakfast Balcony Quiet place
Nothing..
I enjoyed my stay there as the space was clean and very central in the town. The host was also very friendly and knowledgeable, and we always welcomed his advice. He provided a simple but filling breakfast consisting of eggs with vegetables on the side, yogurt, juice box, and bread with various spreads.
shower curtain in one of the bathrooms was not securely fixed.
Very kind and nice host, bring us to good restaurants, good service for every things. We have good memory in Abu simbel trip. Provide drinks in refrigerator, many thanks
The staff here were exceptionally friendly and attentive. The hotel is so central and close to everything at such a great price.
The house is clean and the owner is patient and friendly,He offers free transportation service from airport and two way transfer to the temple. Also Breakfast is good.
The water isn’t hot when take shower ,The double room is a little small.
Excellent and friendly Service! We asked for early Check in and there was no Problem and without extra Charge. There is a small kitchen to share with the other guests. In the fridge there were beverages for free. It is also possible to prepare warm Drinks like Tee or Coffee. It is possible to buy Tickets for the Sound and light Show in the Guest House. They also offer Souvenirs. In the evening the owner drove us to the Temple and picked up us after the Show for free.
We enjoyed our stay at the guest house very much with Ramadan’s hospitality. He did his best to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. Abu Simbel Temple is 15-min away by foot from the guest house. Ramadan can book the boat ride to see the temple from lake Nassar which was an amazing experience.
Nothing
this is a small house,. we booked 2rooms,.per the picture showed on booking, both the 2 rooms should be on.the second floor. However, when we arrive, the room with a big bed was been given to someone else. Also, my friend said the bed with spring inside rise up and make it so uncomfortable to lie on. And the bedroom in the first floor with only thin sheets, so cold.
The host was super friendly. He was waiting for us to arrive at the property and helped us to carry the luggage to the room. The room was upstairs, and we could see the beautiful sunset on the day we stayed. Our room was spacious, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a balcony. As we were leaving early in the morning to see the sunrise at Abu Simbel temple, the host brought breakfast to the temple so that we could have breakfast in the car going back to Aswan.
I forgot to ask the owner how to use hot water before he left the property. I think we needed to turn on a switch to make the hot water system. It is better to ask how to use a hot water system and how to lock the door. I struggled to lock and unlock the door.
Everything great. Very friendly host. The place is very clean and well located. Don't hesitate staying there for your Abu Simbel stay :)
Modern, comfortable rooms, within a short walking distance of the temples. Owner is very kind and generous :).
Nothing comes to mind.
Location
Not very clean
Clean rooms, nice balconies, and best of all, the very kind owner. He also provided transportation to and from the bus terminal and hotel, and suggested the best time to visit Abu Simbel. I had a comfortable and pleasant stay from start to finish. I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Abu Simbel.
The Abu Simbel guest has could not be more perfectly located – it is on the peninsula within comfortable walking distance of the temples. The owner is charming, friendly, and extremely helpful. The bedrooms are simple, spacious and comfortable, the shared kitchen is very well equipped, with a fridge full of fruit and soft drinks provided for free. it also has the best Wi-Fi speed I have yet found in Egypt! Highly recommended
Friendly and helpful owner - nice, clean room. Complimentary water, soft drinks and fruit.
My bathroom was just outside of the room, which was a slight inconvenience but frankly minor - would definitely love to come back!
The host is very friendly, and the rooms are clean. He even provided free drinking water. Fair price to purchase the light and sound show of the Abu Simbel temple
Ramada is a very good host, he is very kind and helpful. The place is very clean and big. He arrange the night show and morning visit in Abu simbel temple, also give suggestion when back to Aswan. He also be our driver drive us back to Aswan, very very nice. Highly recommend this place, and for sure with stay longer next time.
The owner is very kind! I really recommend this hotel!! Really much!! He gave us free ride to Abu Simbel and also picked us up. Abu Simbel was amazing. Fruits and all the drinks in the fridge is free! That is so kind!! You can use washing machine. It dry very fast. We washed twice in 1 night. Breakfast was great. Balcony was great. We also had welcome drink. There are dishes, kitchen too. The hotel is clean. We asked a ride to Nubian village, Aswan. The owner always asked what we want to do, what time, how. It was more than perfect for us!!
The host was very friendly and helpful. He gave us lots of visiting information and helped us with the transport. It was so nice to see fruits and drinks in the refrigerator. Also, having breakfast at the balcony was the best:)
It is a bit of hard to get there with the public transportation, but the host can provide the solution.
Minibar on complimentary and very nice balcony.
The host was super friendly and picked me up from the bus station. Maybe because he was worried I otherwise would walk out on him, but more about that in the negatives. Plenty of free fresh fruit and bottled water was provided and the breakfast was good.
I booked a room with a balcony, but unfortunately the rooms with balcony turned out to be booked by someone else for over a month already. All good and well, but don't put it as available on booking.com then. Instead I was placed in an downstairs interior room with no windows, let alone any outside space. I also ended up with a shared bathroom outside of my room (shared with the host, I think) and this all also meant a lot less privacy. For by far the most expensive accommodation I stayed in in Egypt, I think this is unacceptable. No discount was offered (to be fair, I didn't ask for it). If I had known in advance, I would have booked a room in a hotel even closer to the temple, for a similar price, with a private bathroom and shared outside space with views on the lake. So, I do feel a bit cheated that the room was advertised as with a balcony, while according to the owner they were one months ago already. If the interior room was half the price, it would still be a good deal: there was nothing wrong with the room itself. But for the price I've paid, I don't think it is worth it - at all.
Hospitality by Ramadan was exceptional and made more efficient our visit by providing tickets & transportation all around Great breakfast on balcony with view
It was great! Clean and comfortable. We were 3 people and the apartment was huge for us. Complementary water and soft drinks included and a beautiful souvenir as part of our farewell. A few minutes walk from a good restaurant and the temple.
Picked up at the airport and dropped off, by the owner which was really convenient. Less than 10 mins walk to local restaurant for dinner. Less than 10 mins walk to the temple. I walked to the temple in the dark (5.45am) and felt very safe.
I’d really like the town to spade the dogs! (This obviously isn’t the hotel’s fault).
We had a great stay at Abu Simbel Nubian Guest House! The host was the most hospitable person we have met in all Egypt! We got welcome drinks, a plate of fruit and there were drinks for us in the fridge also for free and not just water but also pepsi. The breakfast is included in the stay however we told him we won’t be able to make it because we will leave early so he made us a breakfast box so we could eat it in the car. So kind! And he also hooked us up with the tickets for sound and light show. The room was very clean and cozy! Wr highly recommend you to stay here when you visit Abu Simbel
1. LOCATION: NEAR THE TEMPLE. 2. FRIENDLY ATTITUDE OF OWNER. 3. FREE WATER/BREAKFAST/FRUIT 4. GOOD FOOD RESTAURENT SURROUNDING. 5. GOOD SEEVICE.
Host, Ramadan, went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and safe while traveling alone. He provides transportation to/from airport, monuments, and restaurants, but you can walk everywhere. Apartment large w/ kitchen and balcony.
