Beautiful...

The condo was spacious and fully equipped with amenities and everything you need for a family vacation. We made good use of the tennis rackets, beach chairs, mini golf, patio, hammock, kitchen, and laundry. The kids (5 and 8) LOVED all the pools, especially the water slide (open on weekends!), and the beach was dreamy. The condo was spotlessly clean. Access and parking were easy. Alli, the owner, was wonderfully responsive and helpful with recommendations. The location was an easy drive from San Juan, and only 30 minutes from El Portal in El Yunque.

Some of the facilities on the property needed some updating, and they were working on one of the pools while we were there, but my guess is that recent hurricanes are to blame.

Everything was good

Everything was exactly as described and our party of 5 had a wonderful time at Slice of Paradise. We were extremely impressed by the cleanliness of the unit. Everything, floors included, were spotless. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed and the extra provisions like beach towels, a cooler, basketball and beach chairs were all very much appreciated. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony each morning and the kids loved being able to go and play basketball every evening. The beach access was perfect, as it beat the crowds and had ample shade. The property was well maintained. We travel frequently and utilize rentals for most of our vacations and I can honestly say that this host, Alli, was the most responsive and communicative host that we’ve ever encountered. She provided recommendations including links for the area , whenever we had a question she was quick to respond and she checked in throughout our stay to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. So pleased with the entire experience! Will definitely stay here in the future.

Patio screen to balcony comes off rails when sliding. Entrance and balcony sliding doors have gaps towards floor where insects can come inside unit. The towels that were provided had bad oder. We washed and dried them with the provided machines but still came out the same. Owner needs to buy new towels, these have permanent mildew. Toaster oven was dirty inside also coffee maker was not clean inside filter cup. Provided blow dryer was not working. Total unit overall was furnished to the minimum, was not worth the price they were charging for the stay. Very disappointing.

Loved the apartment, nice open layout and great natural light! Also great curtains for blocking that same great light when sleeping in too. The A/C was perfectly arctic. Plenty of towels when we got there, plus washer and dryer for keeping things fresh and clean. Hubby loved the hammock on the balcony. The water pressure and the temperature were great. We felt safe on the property. The parking spots were super convenient. The apartment was spotless when we arrived and all appliances were super clean and ready for use. I made big breakfasts in the mornings and the oven and stove (electric) worked wonderfully as well. We didn't use the dishwasher although they do have one. We bought and donated a couple of bathtub mats as the tubs were slippery. Our hosts were great, had speedy communication, and addressed any questions we had which weren't many as they had provided a thorough rundown of info prior to our arrival. Check-in and check-out were both seamless. Given that this was a big family trip (7 people), we couldn't have asked for more comfortable, convenient accommodations. Would definitely book again for a family trip!

My teenagers are serious swimmers so they were a little bummed out that all the pools were shallow (4 feet). I explained that it was because it was a family-friendly feature but you know kids. Even so, they still had fun splashing around. The only other thing is that the apartment is centrally located on the property so it's a long-ish walk to the beach (10 minutes).

I loved the location of the property, it was very nice and clean felt safe and really close to local bars, restaurants, and grocery! the pools were amazing and the hot tub was nice! we loved alli the host she was so great and gave us so much information that we needed for exploring! we already booked this apartment again!!! it’s definitely worth every penny and you will feel like you are at home!

The community was excellent, the service by the hosts was excellent (they went above and beyond to help us after there was a technical issue with booking.com), the apartment was fantastic and well furnished and prepared.

The surrounding village is exactly that; a village. That meant that we were unprepared for how early everything closes (7pm) and how the overall area doesn't cater as much to tourists as other parts of Puerto Rico.
