Waihi beach Toroha cosy cabin

Easy checkin, extremely clean, tidy, modern, peaceful, beautiful outlook, everything we needed and more in kitchen. Very comfortable beds and warm unit. Loved our stay. would love to come back!! Thoroughly recommend!!!

Quiet, spotless clean, very well equipped

Quiet setting but extremely close to the town and beach. Cabin was modern, tasteful and well equipped. The bed was super comfortable with cosy bedlinen.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Easy to access, beautiful cabin for two people. tidy, clean, shower was good pressure, bed was comfortable, good options for cooking facilities and friendly responsive host

There wasnt anything we didnt like - if I wanted to suggest something, to have a fish slice utensil to flip eggs when using the frying pan - but it wasnt a problem.

The living space was cosy and had an awesome view especially with the storm coming in. The bed was extremely comfortable and bathroom was lovely too.

Lovely idyllic spot and everything you could want in accommodation. No faults at all!

The chickens and country view. It was quiet and the bed was comfy. Nice decor a nice deck on the front.

We don't normally complain, but we feel we have to say a few things. We arrived at 3 pm, the place was closed up and really hot. North facing, would be nice in winter but not in shoulder seasons, we had to close blinds and put aircon on ... which defeated the reason for booking (i.e. the view). The pictures listed show a vacant block next door on the sea side but there's a house there now, so the view isn't as shown. Had to park on the footpath, despite an obvious parking spot in the spare driveway blocked by 2 plant pots. Kitchen was tiny, hard to cook anything, two huge salt & pepper shakers with nothing in them. We didn't feel particularly welcomed by the host, although she offered us some feijoas the last day. The place is for sale.

I like how private it was and close to town

Peaceful, private, lovely rural view from deck. Perfect for sunset happy hour. Good setup with everything we needed for our 2 night stay

We really enjoyed our stay here... it was the perfect location for our requiremenrs, really nicely set up, clean, comfortable and modern.

Facilities were ok long way from beach or town, we did not see owner although they lived next door 🤔

Clean and well constructed

Very clean, tidy, and quiet, with a comfortable bed and modern furnishings. It is just a quick drive to the beach. The deck was perfect for dining and enjoying the surroundings. Would happily stay again.

The apartment was perfect, we had everything we needed and everything was clean and tidy. We loved the view and the privacy, it was a great location. 10 min drive to the beach, 10 min drive into Waihi township.

I wish that the car could be parked closer to the apartment as there was heavy rain when we arrived and we had to do multiple walking trips to get our stuff down to the apartment.

Cozy and warm on a cold winter weekend

Bed only a double

A cute cabin that was clean and comfortable, with pleasant views of the hills and a tiny water view.

There could have been some basic instructions about rubbish disposal, operating the TV etc

Very clean. Everything we needed down to the smallest details. Owners were lovely and accomodating. It was a pleasure to come back to after a long day at work.

Not an easy walk to town

A great space tucked away made for a peaceful break. The view from the balcony was dramatic and a great backdrop for meals. Everything was easily accessible by car and the hosts were friendly, helpful and communicative.

The cabin is very tidy and clean. It is also overlooking the mountains and ocean.

Facilities good for a couple of night but not 4 nights. comfortable bed nice deck,but a sun trap, mini kitchen and cooking verg limited, should have been told house being built right on boundary next door and very noisy hammering !! Went away to relax and some peace and quiet did not happen !! Very disappointed.

We were travelling from England. Loved the the cosy cabin Stunning view, great location, lovely set up and super friendly/helpful hosts. Enjoyed wonderful beach, late night shopping, festival in park. Easy access. Wonderful people. Thank you J and S. X

Lack of hanging space for clothes

The bed was very very comfy, great view and lots of kitchen amenities for the size!

No Shampoo and could of had another chair to eat at the table with

Peaceful, setting with a bedroom view to the paddock. It was exactly as described and the host was super helpful with directions as I had a wee clich with my internet…
