Pokhara was the final stop of my journey in Nepal. After arriving at Lily’s place, I ended up extending my stay because it was simply beautiful. The staff were wonderfully sweet, warm, and always eager to help. Outside, dragonflies, monkeys, and lovely sunlight filled the surroundings—whether sunny or rainy, you could truly feel the magic of nature. I have to say, this place beautifully combines the distinct local climate, lakes, and hilltop charm of South Asia with a relaxed, European-style ambiance and interior design. Everything was absolutely wonderful, and every little detail made the trip a joy.
This is a spectacular spot! I stayed here for several weeks in April and May and had an amazing experience. The rooms are great and good value. The food is excellent, and the owners (Lilly and Ganesh) and staff are exceptionally kind and helpful. Feels more like a family operation than a business. It’s walking distance to some excellent trails around Begnas Lake, and on a clear day the view of the Annapurna range from the roof is sublime. This place is a gem!
Wow hotel. Very aesthetic design of the rooms, feels like home. I stayed in the room with two balconies with stunning views on Annapurna and Manaslu massives. Super friendly, helpful staff and sweet owner. The delicious food. I highly recommend it.
Everything was perfect.
Staffs are very nice and helpful, food taste amazing but limited menu, rooms has good amenities reducing a plastic waste.thats good👍
Hard to reach, slow service, and overpriced food 🙁 The location is deeply tucked away and very difficult to find. On top of that, food delivery was incredibly slow, taking almost an hour to arrive. The restaurant prices are also way too high for the hotel's actual standard and seem aimed strictly at overcharging foreign travelers.
Hospitality
Facilities, property is far off from city and main road. No AC, No Lift, No TV. Room full of insects at night as there is no wire mesh to stop insects once the door is opened. Bathroom too small. Property should mention that it does not offer what is common with a standard hotel. People with mobility issues cant climb up floors should avoid. Properly is around 5Kms from Tal Chowk so expect NPR 700-800 each time who think of going upto Tal Chowk. For travelling till lakeside expect expense of NPR 2000 each time. Upto Begnas Lake also, it would cost NPR 300 each time by Cab. Unless somebody wants to stay away from the city, serene, quite, cut off from the world kind of stay, this is the place to be. For me who wanted to explore Pokhara it was a wrong place to stay. Food is costly at hotel, and there are hardly any good place nearby to have dinner till Begnas Lake. From my perspective, nothing good about the property and I felt wasting my money staying at this property. .
I had a wonderful stay in Indralok Hotel. The food was amazing, the hotel staff were very helpful and always positive, and everything was clean and comfortable. The views of the Himalayas and the lakes were absolutely breathtaking. It’s a perfect place for anyone who loves peace and quiet, and the terrace at the top was a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy the view. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Nepal.

Beautiful views, clean rooms, friendly staff
Wonderful place! If you want a bit of peace and quiet away from the busy areas this is for you. Comfy, clean rooms. Great food. Lovely walks at Begnas and Rupa lakes close by. Such welcoming, friend staff.
Actually the property have sky garden that i like must.
And the staff are so kind and helpful.
A clean and comfortable hotel; and a lovely warm welcome on arrival. The owners and staff go that extra mile to make your stay comfortable and homey. The atmosphere is very relaxed. The food is all freshly prepared and is very tasty! Lilly and Ganesh, the owners, are very musical and gave us an evening of their own compositions amongst other well known songs. Beautiful harmonies...it was a delight! The setting is lush, peaceful and perfect. From the sky lounge in particular, there are beautiful views to the mountains.
Stayed 8 nights - Location is fantastic... Super peaceful and wild, not too far from landmarks and town etc. Staff were amazing and owners so hospitable. Delicious food and kitchen staff always happy to help and make the extra effort so we felt looked after and cared for :) highly recommend and will return to stay whenever in Nepal.
Very nicely decoraties. Friendly people
I loved my stay at Indralok. The hotel is modern, clean and has a lovely view of the mountains and lake. The owners and staff were exceptional. We had a movie each evening which was fun! The meals were excellent. I felt spoiled by Madhu who insisted on carrying a chair and numerous beverages up to my balcony so I could enjoy the antics of the monkeys frolicking in the trees outside each day. I also had a special cappuccino at the coffee shop along the brick path before the hotel restaurant opened each morning. The owner there is also an avid birdwatcher and is happy to lend you his expertise, binoculars and bird books at his scenic overlook with tables and chairs. And, the taxi driver who lives next door to the coffee shop kindly carried my heavy suitcase down past a road block in the early morning to ensure I caught the bus I had arranged to Kathmandu from Talchowk. He even offered to wait in his taxi with my belongings watching for the bus while I had a coffee in the shop across from the bus stop. I can't imagine a more comfortable stay or any more hospitable people than I met at Begnas Tal!
The staff is amazingly kind and the views are breathtaking. There are very few places that are so peaceful and can provide a quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The hotel's restaurant serves very good food. The rooftop lounge provides a relaxing oasis for the guests.
The rooms could use a bit of a redesign and better thought throughout (e.g. no proper shelves for toiletries in the bathroom, no water bolier in the room, bedside desks are too tall and prevent proper use of charging plugs). The place is quite difficult to get to, particularly with the roadworks everywhere. Hopefully this will only be a temporary issue.
This hotel is relatively new, and is located on a beautiful property with incredible Himalayan Mountain Views. The staff is so lovely and welcoming- truly the highlight of our trip to Nepal.
- Superb views in all directions - Rooftop is an amazing place to hang out, eat your meals, read a book, enjoy the views - Very friendly service, will help you with anything you need - Good food, for a cheap price - Plenty of vegetarian options on the menu - Every meal, snack or drink you order they will bring up to the rooftop - Great area to do some walking/exploring
All the staffs were very friendly and kind to us. And the mountain and lake view from the rooftop was very amazing.
Nothing.
Beautiful and spacious rooms, really nice food. I love love loved the views and just chilling on the rooftop terrace. The owners are SO kind and nice. I loved my stay over here! And it has warm showers, which is not a given in mountain areas.
I loved my stay here! The location is beautiful, up the hill and away from the busyness of Begnas Lake in a cute little village area. Nice walks and beautiful nature around. Plenty of local restaurants nearby to eat at. Indralok has a very charming and cozy atmosphere. I loved the vibe of the place! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The rooftop is beautiful, stunning views of the mountains at sunset, great place to chill and relax. The owner Lilly was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I only wish I could have stayed for longer! I would happily book here again!
Food was fabulous. Everything we ordered was beyond expectations. Staff felt like visiting family. Music and dancing on the roof top wrapped by the Annapurna mountains memorable. Can’t wait to go back.
Nothing
Lilly and Ganesh are wonderful. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They have created a comfortable and beautiful hotel in an very fun location. The 360 degree views from the rooftop are stunning. There are fun places to walk to around the area and beautiful spaces to hang out, work, do yoga and relax. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Lovely welcoming ambience, a really nice stay
Improved & more visible Sign at end of road would be helpful
The stay at the hotel was perfect. Lily organized a momo workshop at our request, recommended places in the area. The food was delicious.
Lily and Ganesh were lovely to stay with. Lily and her dad gave us loads of ideas for walks from the hotel and suggested places to visit. The rooms were very clean and the beds were so comfy. The hotel has two calm and friendly dogs who my kids adored. The food was delicious, and Lily was kind enough to make (perfect) soft boiled eggs for my kid.
Nothing.
Lily and Ganesh's hotel is situated on a small hill at the edge of a picturesque village. From the hotel's charming rooftop you can see 360 degrees of mountains, valleys, lakes, and houses. On a clear day, you can see the magnificent and snowy Annapurna range. The hospitality is full of love and friendship, the food is good and the rooms are comfortable. Those who arrive there are guaranteed an experience, an interesting meeting, a conversation, and don't miss the morning coffee at the village café with the lake view - you'll know it. It is sure to be a wonderful place, becoming a pilgrimage for those looking for some quality Nepalese nature and tranquility.
It should be noted that the charming location is about an hour's drive from the center of Pokhara city.
We recently stayed at Indralok Hotel and Sky Garden near Begnas Lake, and it was an amazing experience. The hotel is in a perfect location, close to both Begnas Lake and another nearby lake. The owners offer exceptional service, and you can really feel the heart and care they put into every detail. The food at the restaurant is outstanding, and the hotel itself is new, spotlessly clean, and highly recommended for anyone visiting the area or Pokhara who wants some time outside the city. We originally planned to stay for just one night but ended up staying several more because it was so hard to leave the place and its wonderful people. Without a doubt, we'll be back as there's still so much to see and do. I highly recommend this hotel!
we loved all
