Uma Swari Villa Sidemen

I stayed as a solo traveller for 3 nights. The villa was beautiful, staff were very attentive and lovely. I ate quite a few meals on-site as I needed some r&r. Meals were very tasty. Very close to the rice terraces, so worth a walk up there. I took advice from others and visited Tini's Beauty Spa (so worth it! Great massages with a beautiful view) and also visited Koli Koli for an afternoon drink. Would definitely stay again.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans l’hôtel Uma swari, la vu sur la rivière derrière est sympa, le petit déjeuné rien à redire dessus, personnel actif, possibilité de louer un scoot pour se balader facilement

À savoir qu’il n’y a pas de Grab ici, il faut prendre des taxis. Ainsi que nous avons aussi loué un scooter durant notre séjour, mais faite attention nous avons louée le scooter que la soirée et ils n’ont ont déduit la journée complète

Die Mitarbeiter der Unterkunft waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es wurde jeden Tag gereinigt und man hatte einen sehr guten Serv.

Le personnel est très accueillant et serviable. Le cadre est magnifique. L’hôtel est à quelques mètres des rizieres. Sublime.

Il n’y a pas de distributeur de fontaine d’eau potable et le ballon d’eau chaude est un peu juste pour deux personnes

Le personnel est très accueillant et aux petits soins. Il y a la possibilité de se faire livrer à manger. Notre piscine n'était pas privatisée mais comme il n'y a pas beaucoup de chambres dans l'hôtel ce n'était pas un problème. L'endroit est beau et la vue sur la rivière est magnifique. À deux pas des rizières avec le circuit touristique. Nous avons aussi pu fabriquer des bagues en argent car il y a un atelier juste à côté.

Le bruit des voitures qui passaient proches du logement peut être un problème si vous n'avez pas de boules quies.

La propreté c’était vraiment pas propre nous avons demandé de revenir faire le ménage mais sans trop grand succès. Le petit déjeuner est vraiment pas bon nous l’avons goûter 1 matin et le reste de notre séjour nous avons été déjeuner ailleurs. Un peu cher pour la proposition.

Absolutely amazing place to stay! All the staff was so kind and helpful. We had villa number 3 for ourselves and we loved it. We not bothered by any noise from traffic or the river and we really did not hear it, so I think the all the criticism of that matter is not fair.

Een van de leukste hosts die we gehad hebben! Heel veel jeugd die er rond liep die ons enorm geholpen hebben. Veel hadden nog wat moeite met Engels maar uiteindelijk kwamen we er wel. Ik moest naar de supermarkt en gaf dit aan bij een van de medewerkers. Ze boden me aan om achterop een scooter te gaan zitten en die persoon bracht me wel even naar de dichtsbijzijnde supermarkt en terug! In de buurt liggen de rijstterrassen op 10 minuten lopen en een sieradenmaker op 2 minuten lopen. Het uitzicht vanaf het zwembad en ons huisje was prachtig. Dit huisje was ook ruim en daarnaast was ik erg verrast over de badkamer. Voor het eten was er veel keuze en dit eten werd rechtstreeks gebracht vanuit een restaurant in de buurt.

Eigenlijk is er vrij weinig dat tegen is gevallen.

Fantastische verblijf. Aanrader voor iedereen. Uitzicht en locatie zijn top. Je loopt zo de rijstvelden in. Restaurants zijn up hill.

In de ochtend hoor je het verkeer op de weg. Oordopjes indoen helpt.

Un relatif manque d'intimité, la piscine de notre bungalow donnant sur l'espace restauration (mais peu de personnes car peu de chambres). La restauration se fait uniquement sur livraison.

Un très bon emplacement, proche des rizières « rice terrace » et d’un atelier Silver Class. Le logement est magnifique, la piscine à débordement avec vue sur la rivière ajoute un plus. Le personnel est accueillant et au petit soin. Il est possible de se faire livrer à manger dans la chambre ce qui est pratique. Ils proposent également un service de lessive. Le calme de l’endroit permet de se ressourcer à 100%.

We had a pleasant 2-night stay at Uma Swari Villa Sidemen. Overall, it was a comfortable experience, and while the property itself wasn't exceptionally luxurious, it offered everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The standout feature of this villa is undoubtedly the staff. Every member of the team was warm, friendly, and genuinely went the extra mile to accommodate all our requests. Their hospitality made our stay comfortable and memorable. The breakfast was good, and room service was prompt and reliable. There are also several nice warungs and excellent spa options within walking distance, making it easy to enjoy the local area. The villa is in a fantastic location for exploring Sidemen. The Telaga Waja River rafting, just about 20 minutes away, was one of the highlights of our Bali trip—far more scenic and exciting than the Ayung River, in our opinion. The beautiful rice terraces and the nearby silver-making workshop also added a unique local touch to our stay. A couple of areas could be improved. The bath towels are showing signs of wear and could be replaced. Also, the rooms are close to the main road, so light sleepers may hear passing vehicles during the night. Despite these minor drawbacks, Uma Swari Villa is a wonderful place to unwind and experience the peaceful charm of Sidemen. If you're looking for a relaxing stay with easy access to nature, adventure, and local culture, this is an excellent choice. The exceptional staff truly made all the difference. Koli koli restaunare and Tini SPA are must visit.

Malheureusement pour l'hôtel (certaines nuits) les véhicules bruyants des locaux ont tendance à faire sursauter au milieu de la nuit, mais cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer un bon séjour à l'hôtel

L'hôtel était très joli avec un joli emplacement devant la piscine. Le petit déjeuner était très bon. Ils ont fait une super décoration pour l'anniversaire de ma mère, c'était super!! Le personnel est très disponible et vous emmène en scooter au restaurant que vous souhaitez mais vous devez le chercher par vous même. Pour les restaurants il y a un rue avec des restaurants/boutiques vers le restaurant asri dining by samanvaya. Poir les visites, les grab ne fonctionnent pas vraiment a sidemen, faut demander a l'hôtel qui cherchera pour vous un conducteur et vous dira le prix (il n'y a pas de book de driver). Si vous voulez négocier le prix, il faudra le négocier directement avec le chauffeur.

Sehr,sehr schön! Direkt am Fluss gelegen... Restaurants und Spa zu fuss erreichbar. Sehr nettes Personal. Essen wird auch auf dem Balkon angerichtet! wor kommen gerne wieder!

Emplacement idéal rendant accessibles en peu de temps les principaux points d’intérêt. Villa spacieuse, et bien équipée. Piscine privée à débordement avec vue sur la rivière. Pas de vis à vis donc intimité préservée. Possibilité de se faire livrer des repas sur place. Bon petit déjeuner très copieux, servi à l’heure demandée. Personnel incroyablement gentil et disponible. Toujours prêts à rendre service et souriants.

Propreté un peu limite par endroits, draps tachés notamment.

The traffic noise was quite consistent until late at night, however we didn’t hear any roosters the next morning! Just the peaceful sound of the river. Breakfast was very average. And no onsite bar or restaurant

Les paysages étaient magnifiques, la piscine est top et le personnel de l'hôtel très gentil.

C’est dommage car il manque des choses qui ne coûtent pas excessivement chère mais qui permette un vrai confort (gel douche/shampoings) pas de sèche cheveux un seul oreiller Quand on commande une boisson la moitié du temps il faut demander un verre qui va avec..

Wat een prachtige plek!! Aan de rivier die je vrolijk hoort kletteren. Het resort bestaat maar uit drie villa’s, maar wat een geweldige service krijg je daar! We kwamen in het donker rond 18.30 aan en werden ontvangen door twee mooi geklede jongens. Zij lieten ons de ruimte (villa) zien waar we verbleven, wat prachtig allemaal en dan dat privé zwembadje, dat hadden we niet verwacht eigenlijk. Maar een heerlijke plek waar je echt tot rust komt. Omdat we nog niet gegeten hadden brachten zij ons achter op de scooter naar een restaurantje (met heerlijk eten) en ze kwamen ons ook weer ophalen. Echt zo aardig! Ontbijt bestel je avond van te voren en dan zetten ze dat de volgende ochtend voor je neer. Het bed slaapt geweldig, een luxe schone badkamer (met apart bad) de douche (met stort en gewone douchekop) is heerlijk. Airco werkt goed. Matrassen bij de ligbedjes in de tuin is fijn, badhanddoeken aanwezig. En je eigen jacuzzi in de tuin is natuurlijk te leuk!! De rijstvelden waar je doorheen mag lopen, ligt op 3 min lopen. Wij hebben scooter bij het resort gehuurd (8 euro per dag) en zijn gewoon gaan touren en ook naar de waterval gereden (is wel een kleine waterval) maar de rit ernaar toe (6,5 km) is echt geweldig mooi, en de wandeling daar (steile trap omhoog) is ook prachtig. Dagje bij villa gebleven en dan kan je via whatsapp eten bestellen en komen ze het brengen. In de buurt een atm, veel goede massage salons, kleine supermarkt (voor water, chips en koude bintang :-))leuke restaurantjes. Alles is wel de berg op lopen, wij reden met de scooter omhoog en dat was echt heel goed te doen! We hebben 3 nachten zo genoten en zijn hier echt tot rust gekomen (na onze rondreis door Java) en hadden eigenlijk nog wel dag langer willen blijven.

Ik zou niks kunnen bedenken!

Mooie ligging aan de rivier, midden in de prachtige natuur en op steenworp afstand van een mooie rijstveldenwandeling. Personeel heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam, dachten fijn mee met een vroeg ontbijtje to go de ochtend dat we om 7u moesten vertrekken.

Scooter is wel echt aan te raden, aangezien je niet op elk moment vd dag een rit via grab beschikbaar vindt. Scooter is bij accomodatie te huur! Gelukkig is de lokale bewoner dan wel weer zo lief om je een slinger te geven.

Schöne Unterkunft direkt am Fluss mit tollem Pool. Das Frühstück wird jeden Morgen auf das Zimmer gebracht. Die Anlage liegt sehr gut, so dass alles super zu Fuß erreichbar ist (Reisterrassen, Restaurants,...)

It’s an amazing place! The staff is so friendly. Die Lage ist perfekt und man kann sich jederzeit über whats App essen und trinken bestellen. Zu super Preisen 👍 Preis- und Leistungsverhltnis ist unschlagbar! :-)

The villa was large and spacious with a large bedroom, lounge area and full kitchen. The yard has a deep round small pool with views over the river which is absolutely stunning. I couldn't fault the location, it is breath taking, the staff were extremely polite and very quick to help. The bedroom lighting was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. All the rooms were spacious, the bathroom has good hot water. I loved listening to the sound of the river at night. I ordered room service a lot. The food from Nanna's (I think) up the road was consistently good.

The neighbouring villa was very close and the pool lacked privacy. The kitchen was always full of ants, flying ants, wasps and bees, especially at night. Nothing could be left out on the bench, I had to put sugar in the refrigerator. It would have been great to have any kind of bug spray or plug in wall diffuser but there wasn't anything, I have a bee allergy so I had to be extra careful. The bedroom lights also attracted flying ants at night and because of the large gaps in the ornate door, there was no way to keep them out.

Beautiful position on the river and 3 minute walk to the amazing rice terraces. Rooms and pool were clean and everything you will need. Good aircon, good shower and comfy beds. A fair walk up steep hills to get to the townwith numerous warungs ,and the Zen Spa is amazing. If you have a bike then no problem,

Firsly I feel beds should be made and rooms cleaned daily automatically rather than ask if you want them cleaned. Breakfasts are just ok. Food is brought in from a restaurant in town by motorbike wrapped on a plate with gladwrap and if you want some sauce,salt or pepper,their isn’t any.Not very appealing. Much better off going to one of the many beautiful restaurants in town

Vi trodde vi fikk egen pool da det var litt misvisende på billeder. Vi likte egentlig at det lå ved elven men etter to nette ble det kjedelig og vi valgt å reise videre.

The villa is so lovey and the staff are very kind. They were always more than happy to assist with transport using their bikes to take us to different places and collect us afterwards. The villa was very clean and the facilities were all brilliant.

Only thing was that the location was a bit out of the way, but staff made up for this as they were great offering bike rides. This should be advertised more as this will definitely attract more people to book.

Met by super friendly staff on arrival. Fantastic villa. Infinity pool was awesome overlooking the river and jungle. Villa was very neat and clean with an enormous toilet/shower/ bath. Short 300m walk to entry of rice terraces to walk around. Breakfast delivered to your villa. Cheap meals and drinks to have while relaxing.

A little bit of traffic noise heard while laying in bed but not enough to keep you awake.

Un superbe emplacement au dessus de la rivière, personnel très accueillant et à l'écoute. Juste à l'entrée de Sidemen Ricefields. Petit déjeuner extra avec la vue de la terrasse, piscine individuelle par bungalow, que du bonheur !

Our Room No. 2 had a direct view of the river, which was lovely. However, the sound of the flowing water was a bit loud at times. If you prefer a quieter room, it’s better to choose one of the other rooms. This was our third stay here, and the staff were polite and helpful as always.

Très belle villa avec piscine à débordement La propreté impeccable de la villa. Le service par du personnel chaleureux. Service de Laundry super. Petit déjeuner copieux. L’emplacement proche de la rivière. Ce qui donne un plus à ce décor en pleine nature magnifique. Les Rice Terrasse juste à côté pour une balade dans le coin. Le Silver Class également, pour fabriquer ses propres bijoux (bagues) en argent. Pour le déplacement, nécessité d’avoir un scooter ou un chauffeur. Les Grab et taxis dans le coin sont quasi inexistants à partir d’une certaine heure. Des warung, restaurants locaux aux alentours.

Si vous êtes sensibles au bruit, la rivière en fait beaucoup et les véhicules sont bruyants sur la route. Un service de livraison des repas puisque pas de cuisine ni restaurant dans l’établissement.

I stayed here for a solo retreat during NYE, and it was the best decision in my life. The villa is beautiful and exactly as pictured, super clean, and organized. The infinity pool is literally in front of the river, and even has a walkway that leads directly down to the river. It's a 4 villa building with 3 pools, but the villa next to me is empty, so it feels really private to me. Location is perfectly "Sidemen vibe". Staff are great. Breakfast was perfect. Will come back next time!

Unfortunately, there was no shampoo and shower gel, so I didn't have the best bathtub experience with just a soap bar :( also a trash bin in the room would be nice, it was only 1 in the bathroom.

Het huisje was heel leuk zwembad niet echt groot maar goed schoon en een leuke uitzicht. Je wordt verwend door de personeel alles kan en eten wordt gebracht naar je kamer. Aanbevolen een wandelroute door de rijstterrassen.

Niks. Voor die prijs was alles boven de verwachting.

Bereikbaarheid van de rijstterrassen van Sidemen is optimaal! Hele mooie uitzichten op rijstveld en de vulkaan. Het zwembad is lekker om in af te koelen. Het kan er best heet zijn.

1) Het verblijf ligt aan de achterzijde tegen een druk bereden weg; met name in de nachtelijke doordeweekse uren komt er veel zwaar vrachtverkeer lang, wat voor ons tot enkele slapeloze nachten leidde. 2) Schijnbaar heeft men onvoldoende handdoeken op voorraad; Wij vroegen om het verschonen van de handdoeken, maar men had de gebruikte handdoeken opnieuw opgevouwen en opgehangen... dit leek niet eenmalig. 3) Het eten wordt niet ter plaatse bereidt maar in een aanverwant restaurant (2 scooter-minuten afstand). Het zorgt voor langere levertijd als je ad hoc een hapje of drankje wilt bestellen. Mogelijk verbeterd dit als 'het eigen restaurant' dat in aanbouw was tijdens ons verblijf, een voorraad aan standaard hapjes en drankjes aanwezig kan hebben. 4) Waarom haalt het personeel het cellofaan niet van de borden en glazen af voor opdienen? Het zou netjes zijn als gasten dit niet zelf hoeven te doen. 5) Het personeel is altijd zeer geïnteresseerd en behulpzaam. Soms net ietsje too much (met 4 medewerkers een ontbijt voor 2 naar de kamer bezorgen, of met 2 medewerkers 2 handdoeken brengen bijvoorbeeld). Al met al zijn er vele kleine verbeterpuntjes. Het is geen slecht verblijf, echt niet! Maar heel veel dingetjes zijn gwoon nog niet op het niveau dat zou horen.

Geweldig uitzicht. Eten/drinken bestellen heel makkelijk via WhatsApp en ze komen het bij je kamer brengen

Zimmer und Bad sind sehr geräumig, gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Die ganze Anlage ist schön grün bepflanzt. Frühstück war sehr gut und man konnte auch zu anderen Zeiten immer essen zum Zimmer bestellen. Essen kann man wunderbar auf der kleinen Terrasse. Lage ist nah zu den Reisfeldern, zu den nächsten Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten läuft man ein paar Minuten. Pool ist klein aber sehr sauber und mit Blick auf den Fluss.

Leider waren während unseres Aufenthalts Bauarbeiten die tagsüber relativ laut waren. Außerdem ist die Lautstärke des Flusses relativ hoch, man hört ihn auch im Zimmer bei geschlossener Tür.
