Het ontbijt was goed in dit nette hotel. Ze hebben een poolbiljart en het is leuk om daar te ontspannen met een drankje erbij. Prima hotel tijdens een rondreis Sri Lanka voor 1 of 2 overnachtingen, wanneer je lange afstanden wil onderbreken met een tussenstop.

Die Unterkunft liegt etwas außerhalb aber das hat uns nicht gestört.

Wir waren für eine Nacht im "The White House Resort" und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen 😊 Wir genossen den schönen und sauberen Pool und das reichhaltige und leckere Frühstück.

It’s a small hotel with lots of character. The building is unique and very clean. Pool area is super with a great pool and a nice garden. There’s a pool table available as well. Rooms were comfortable. It’s all very well kept.

It’s a little out of town and not much around it eg places to eat.

Excellent welcome with towels to wipe face and juice.

Beautiful hotel. The staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is excellent. The bed is big and comfortable. Nice and quite place.

Piscine et petit déjeuner top ! La chambre n'était pas immense mais faisait le job.

Surpris de voir le réceptionniste dormir (ronflé) quand nous sommes rentrés dans l'hôtel. Nous avons essayé de le réveiller pour manger ... Impossible. La piscine se trouve à côté de la route.

Superbe endroit, très propre où vous pouvez vous détendre au bord de la piscine. Le personnel est très serviable et souriant. Nous avons demandé un barbecue, viande grillée et légumes, c’était délicieux. Les petits déjeuners sont très copieux et variés, je recommande vraiment !

Die Gastgeber waren super lieb. Sie haben einen kostenfreien Late Check-out möglich gemacht und wir durften sogar nach dem Check out noch den Pool benutzen.

- Proper zwembad aanwezig - Kamer was ruim - Goede bedden - Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel - Bij aankomst, welkomstdrankje en verfrissend doekje

- Airco werkte niet zoals moet, was super heet en vochtig in de kamer - Geen ijskast (maar konden ons drinken wel afgeven om te koelen)

Das Personal war ausserordentlich freundlich, hilfsbereit und grosszügig. Das Frühstück ist gut und grosse Portionen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können das Hotel bestens empfehlen- ideal gelegen auf der Durchreise.

non e' disponibile cibo europeo e anche quello asiatico potrebbe essere migliorato

Hodnotím náš druhý pobyt této vile - napoprvé se nám líbilo, zvolili jsme je tedy jako jistotu i podruhé. Plně jsme využili bazén i billiardový stůl, super zpestření našeho pobytu s dětmi. Pokoje čisté, postele pohodlné, personál příjemný, snídaně velká a dobrá. Doporučujeme!

L’accueil de cette établissement est parfait ! Les employés sont aux petits soins. Par exemple, je suis allé faire une petite baignade dans la piscine, qui est très agréable, et une personne est venue m’apporter une serviette. Ensuite le soir, j’ai demandé s’il pouvait me faire chauffer mon dîner que j’avais pris a emporter et ils m’ont fait des hopper en plus ! On est accueilli avec un cocktail de bienvenue et des petites serviettes rafraîchissantes. Le hall de l’hôtel est vraiment très beau et en plus il y a un billard ce qui est très agréable. Les chambres sont très confortables. Le petit déjeuner est sur mesure et très très copieur ! Ils ont même proposé à Mon Fils de faire le petit déjeuner emporter car il n’aiment pas manger le matin. Ils sont vraiment adorables.

It was so clean and calm. And also the staff was very kind and nice. We were enjoyed yummy and good breakfast which I didnt expect.

Great place to spent a night on our way to Ella, gave us time to visit the Buddha rock carvings. Good place with very lovely staff. He even went out to get us some drinks.

Unfortenately we were the only guests at the time

Jättegullig värd som lät oss ha kvar grejerna på hotellet efter vi checkat ut från rummet. Serverade juice när vi kom för att hämta våra saker efter vi var utcheckade. Trevlig pool. Lugnt rent och fint.

I ena rummet fanns det inga myggnät över sängarna.

Het hotel is heel schoon en de kamer heeft airco en een ventilator. De mensen zijn super vriendelijk lief en behulpzaam.

Great place and a bit hidden gem. Location with good reach between Ella and the safari parks south. We only stayed one night but could easily enjoyed more overstay. Fantastic pool as well to relax and have fun.

We stayed for 1 night and it was a great stay, not much around to do but that was fine for us as it was to just break up our journey.The room was clean and comfortable.The food for breakfast and dinner was lovely.The owner was so kind he sent us on our journey with some pancakes.

Der Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war sehr angenehm, die Zimmer und das ganze Haus waren sehr sauber, der Besitzer war sehr nett und kulant, da wir ursprünglich 4 Nächte gebucht hatten, aber eher nach Ella abreisen mussten. Außergewöhnlich gut war auch das Sri Lanka-Frühstück, das wir sehr genossen haben. Die Kids haben den Pool und den Billard-Tisch gefeiert. Von hier aus sind die Ausflugsziele etwas begrenzt, wir waren bei einem Wasserfall wandern (Ellewalla) und haben beeindruckende Felsenschnitzereien mit riesigen Buddha-Statuen (Budurwagalla Rock Carvings) besichtigt - absolut empfehlenswert.

Der Pool war anfangs sehr trüb und könnte etwas besser gepflegt werden. die Gartenmöbel waren mit einem Cover abgedeckt, was etwas ungemütlich erschien für uns.

Wij vonden het erg fijn om in The White House Resort te verblijven. Het heeft een heel mooi zwembad en de pooltafel vonden we ook een aanwinst. Kamer was schoon en goede badkamer.

The White House resort is een nieuw hotel met een propere kamer, zwembad. Leuke extra’s zoals een pooltafel, natte handdoekjes om te verfrissen bij aankomst en een ontbijt naar keuze!

De eigenaar spreekt goed engels (via telefoon), maar is niet ter plekke. Het overige personeel is heel vriendelijk en doet hun best, maar communicatie in het engels is moeilijker.

Exceptional Hotel, exactly as described and pictured. The staff are incredibly helpful and attentive, with the hotel manager going above and beyond to ensure each guest's comfort. The homemade dinner was a highlight - absolutely delicious! Highly recommended.

We had a very pleasant stay here. The swimmingpool is nice and they serve a very good breakfast.

We had the room downstairs and it was clean and tidy.

Breakfast was adequate but no more than that...only one type of fruit and some white bread with a fried egg and sausage. The wet face cloths we were given on arrival were nice and cold but not too clean...

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was the ideal place to relax and recharge after the buzz of Arugam Bay, and a great base for a day trip to explore Ella. The place was spotlessly clean and super comfortable – we felt right at home. The hosts were so kind and helpful, offering tuk tuk services and even giving us clear pricing for transport andl tours. They also asked us each evening what we’d like for breakfast – such a lovely touch – and it was always fresh and delicious. The facilities were great, the vibe was peaceful, and we couldn’t fault a thing. Highly recommend if you want something welcoming, clean, and well-run!

The pool, the pool table, the breakfast, the friendly and helpful staff. It was overall a nice stop along the road. They were very helpful in arranging local transport.

The beds are a bit small for Europeans, a length of 1m80, is 5cm shorter than I am. While the hotel is very nice, the town is very much off the beaten track. Great for some, but note that Pick me and Uber have few to no available drivers,.

The beds were really comfy and the pool was nice. The staff was really nice and I got a few free drinks and soup which was kind.

I highly recommend this place because It has centralized to Ella , Yala , Arugambay and they gave a good hospitality. The staf is very friendly and they provided a good service. The hotel was true to the photographs upon the hotels website large pool, nice garden ,clean rooms, Pool Table. I enjoyed the pool 😊 It was a great way to start the morning
