Reviewed Aug 25, 2026For the price the accommodation was large, clean, comfortable and the kitchenette in our family room was good. The bathroom was very modern and the shower was excellent. The double bed was comfortable and the sofa bed acceptable. The location is perhaps 15 minutes at a good pace to the centre of town. There's a supermarket close by.
We parked in the very large and very close public car park where parking was free from noon on Saturday and all day Sunday (metered at other times, but inexpensive compared with the parking provided at the accommodation). I disliked "the check-in of the future" - taking selfies felt unnecessarily invasive, if I was on a business trip then OK. If the check-in really was "the future" then linking the electronic check-in with the availability of the room (e.g. once it had been cleaned) would make it worthwhile - but check-in times are from the standard (and late) 3pm only meaning we were hanging around in a cafe for a while first.

The email with instructions on online check in had the link removed, so we could not check in online. The 24-hour phone was never answered. The WhatsApp, which we had to download because we did not have it, was not answered. We spent 2 hours between 2200-0000 trying to get in when we arrived and nobody was available to help. The only reason we were able to was because of an older couple that lived there who called the hotel Paris, who finally gave us codes to check in. It was a very stressful 2 hours in an unknown foreign city. There was nothing that told us the Hotel Paris was associated with 2H Living.
