Reviewed Aug 24, 2026De locatie was top, heerlijk rustig, omgeven door velden. Amper lichtvervuiling en oorverdovende stilte. Fantastisch verblijf voor 1 of meerdere nachten in het prachtige Friesland.
Echt helemaal niets had er beter gekund.

The only thing we didn't appreciate was having to pay an extra 5 euros for towels. We think these should be included in the price we paid when booking this location.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026Aardige host. Fijn dat er ook buiten een picknicktafel stond, zodat we buiten konden zitten. De stacaravan was goed verzorgd. De bedden waren lang genoeg, en er was beddengoed. 's Nachts was er een heftige onweersbui en kwam de host even kijken of alles goed ging, dat was erg attent.
Iets van shampoo en/of badschuim in de douche had het wat meer afgemaakt. Verder zou het wat meer compleet zijn als er ook badhanddoeken, en keukenhand- en theedoeken waren.

Reviewed Jun 8, 2026Was für eine tolle Unterkunft. Um uns herum Natur pur, und wir mittendrin in einem urgemütlichen Mobilheim. Die sehr liebenswürdigen Gastgeber überraschten uns mit einem äußerst leckeren Frühstück. Vielen Dank an Sonia und ihre Familie für einen Aufenthalt, an den wir noch lange zurückdenken werden.

Niets. Het waaide nogal hard die nacht waarfoor het rumourig was in een caravan, maar dat hoort nou eenmaal bij een campeer-ervaring.

Reviewed Oct 31, 2025Great location, good access and parking, nice hosts. Everything there that you need. I always wanted to enjoy a mobile house or a caravan, and this chance was given now. I wish to come back once again.
My daughter found the double room a little cold in the night as we had a quiet cool and very windy night with rain in end of October, so the heater was challenged against the isolation. Me and my mom had a great night on the small beds under 2 duvets. Bathroom was also cold so you need to finish quickly! A mop or cloth to dry the floor is suggested to be added to the room.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2025Wat een geweldige plek. Het uitzicht, de rust de hartelijke ontvangst van de familie. De accommodatie was super schoon. Niet ver van Lauwersoog alwaar men een lekker visje kan eten. Ook heerlijk om niet zelf voor het ontbijt te hoeven zorgen, super, en waar vindt men nog een ontbijtje voor €4,- ! De Grutte Earen is een plek om zeker weer een keer terug te komen.
Dat het verblijf te kort was, waren graag langer gebleven.

De caravan was ietwat gedateerd, maar wel goed schoongemaakt.

Lack of wifi (but we were told that the fiber will arrive soon) and lack of drainer for the dishes. A toaster and shower mat would have been appreciated as well.
