Location easy access to Sunway Pyramid and Sunway Lagoon

Not a hotel. It's an apartment that desperatly needing a renovation. Room furniture is very old, towel is badly worn and discoloured, pillow and bedsheets are stained, toilet leaking A/C, toilet lid is loose, bunk bed is squeaky and noisy, room smells of pesticide pellets (napthalene balls). Host were not responsive and uncommunicative. Need the hotel lobby staff to take me to the mailbox room in basement floor (B1) to get the keys on arrival.

I think the location of the property was very convenient.

The cleanliness did not meet expectations and slightly discomforted us. But we were glad the staff had been helpful in resolving the issue.

Literally connected with sunway pyramid

The only issue we faced was that TV was not working and it was during the world cup season

Firstly, this is a fantastic location. Above Pyramid Mall in the Sunway Lagoon complex. Easy access to the mall, theme park etc. The communication with the host was easy and responsive. The host also was quick to help solve problems and offer solutions.

Firstly, I'll own straight up that we only paid AUD$171 for 2 nights, so maybe that should have set off some alarm bells. When we first arrived, there was an overwhelming smell of moth balls. We discovered 7-8 balls strewn throughout the property. It was an assault on the senses. My family still claim they can smell them on their luggage now. The apartment felt dirty and un cared for. There was limited cutlery (1 butter knife, 3 forks, mixture of spoons), 2 small dipping bowls (for an apartment that sleeps 6). The kettle was broken. *Note here: The host had some new bowls and a new kettle provided within a few hours. The bathroom door handle was loose and felt as if it could easily fall off, the shower bracket attached to the wall in the shower was wobbly and felt it could easily come off. The shower / bath leaked somehow creating a stream of water into the bathroom. The bunk beds were steel spring frames, which ensured with every movement everyone in the apartment was awoken / disturbed. At 2:30am we eventually moved the mattress onto the floor. The TV didn't work as it had a plug for another country and thus unable to be used. I commented to my wife that the conditions made me feel like I was living in a share house with 19 year old males! Overall, it's a great location but the apartment is old, tired and is not a place we were looking forward to going back to from our day out.

The listing did not match our room. The room was very run down, damage to furniture, stains on sheets and towels. The beds were very hard. But the worst part was that the room did not have the facilities that was advertised. It claimed to have a hot tub, washing machine and dryer but it did not have any of those things, and we had specifically booked this place for the washing machine. When I asked the host about this they did not respond. Also, we told them as soon as we arrived that the fridge was leaking, but it was not looked at over our three night stay.

The room is quite run down...ex: just to see up both tv need an hour. At last call attenden but cannot solve also .only 1tv is working and sharing battery with Aircon...

The parking can be confusing, however for the age of the apartment it’s more than enough and clean. If I had to make one complaint, it was smaller than what we thought but to be expected.

The location was perfect, near the mall. The room was clean. The host was responsive and helpful.

The furnitures are outdated and have a wood smell. Last time I stayed there, was in 2022…it was nice. Now I believe there is a need to renovate to give a more appealing look and atmosphere. It was value for money, but a renovation would make it perfect! Another thing, there are no facilities for luggage pick up and it’s not very easy to get them in the lifts. Also the lift got blacked out and stopped on the day I checked out, luckily the guard came when I pressed the emergency button.

No ready key in mailbox even i check in late on 5pm. When i entered the room, so suprised I see this view. No one clean the room, they just ask me to stay like this room. But after they clean for me. Very strong smell in the room, very fresh air. Can see the image u will know

Comfortable and clean unit. The staff is friendly and helpful. Easy check in and check out procedure. Can't beat the location, Sunway Pyramid and Sunway Lagoon is just down below. The bed and pillow are clean and comfortable. Will be back if I need a place to stay in Sunway area

The amenities can be improved a little bit, the soap and shampoo is of the low cheap quality. Parking rate 15 RM a day also needs to be considered especially for long stays. Aircon position is not ideal as directly above and facing the main bed

I liked the apartment because it was clean, comfortable, and located in a convenient area. Everything was well-maintained and I had a pleasant stay.

Overall, the stay was good, but the TV didn’t work properly. It would be great if that could be fixed for future guests.

The view from the balcony and the location. We really liked the shopping mall.

We had to move to another room due to air conditioning issues. Some days later, we were asked to move again to this room as the air conditioner was repaired.
