Provider-sourced guest reviews.
The property is unique, with its gardens and varying room types. It is close to the downtown and to the Whitman campus, so that a car (for me) was not necessary. And when I inadvertently had not booked an additional night, the staff graciously accommodated me!
Nothing!
I am allergic to the Coffee mate brand creamer and requested half and half. They accomodated my request. I also appreciate that they upgraded the room when I needed to bring my daughter at the last minute.
Location is great, the place is clean and quiet. The room was spacious and comfortable. The communication was great.
It was on the 2nd floor with no elevator.
Lovely hotel with nice amenities centrally located.
Nothing
Clean, great location and nice outside deck area Bottle of wine was appreciated
No drawers or good places to put clothes , only a few hangers No working place around the sink - simple shelf above sink was slanted down and items fell off Little hot water in morning and afternoon
Beautiful and so well maintained. Excellent communication and staff so attentive.
Not dog friendly in the back sort of the property.
Stunning accommodations! They have really thought of every touch to make you comfortable and feel at home. I would 100% recommend
Great location. Walking distance to everything
The basement room is too dark, no lights and not very functional
Great location. Helpful staff. Bed was a bit soft and lighting was not enough for us old couple. Would stay there again!
This property is clean, quiet and charming, with beautiful grounds, friendly staff members and a fantastic location. It's an easy walk downtown to the Saturday market, restaurants, tasting rooms, shops and free concerts. I also enjoyed daily walks to lovely Pioneer Park. We enjoyed a soak in one of the two hot tubs. We chose a larger room with a sofa, kitchenette and dining room and were very happy with it. Check-in and check-out were simple, and communication was thorough and responsive.
It was a little expensive, though smaller less-expensive rooms are available.
The property is beautifully decorated, clean, great patio/lounge areas and a super convenient location. Pascal is fantastic in communicating with us and provided many tasting option around Walla Walla.
The only exception was the couch into a bed was very uncomfortable. It was hard, uneven and appropriate bedding was not provided. Only had one flat sheet and a thin blanket.
Very clean and conveniently located
Convenience
The grounds were amazing. I enjoyed all the outdoor amenities they offered. Rooms, including bathrooms were very comfy and spacious.
Can’t think of anything I didn’t like.
Stately old Victorian house with high ceilings, comfortable beds and nice grounds, walking distance to downtown. The soaking pools were very welcoming after a long day on the road.
The artwork is eclectic- interesting but not to everyone’s taste. Did not detract from overall appeal of the hotel, though.
The Wesley was a very charming and welcoming property. Ou room was modern, clean and comfortable with all necessary amenities. We especially loved the outdoor spaces which were beautiful and private and gave us a great space to relax with wine in the eve and coffee in the morn.
We loved our room and the entire inn was lovely! The location could not have been better and we highly recommend the The Wesley !!
Not a thing.
Loved it. Outside backyard setup was a surprise and the room was bright and lovely.
There was nothing I disliked.
Clean, we’ll kept. Close to down town and luxurious.
Nothing
Beautiful stay and perfect location. We loved the outdoor spaces.
We had a great 2 day stay at The Wesley. The property was beautiful and the backyard courtyard was very relaxing and charming. Communication and access was easy and timely. Thanks
The location was perfect for walking around downtown. The room was very comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful.
No breakfast options.
Everything!
It was a little noisy early in the morning. People going out the front door and slamming the door.
Beautiful & well maintained.
Towels didn’t soak up water in bathroom
Great communications before, during and after the stay from the proprietors.
Nothing negative
Lovely decor, beautiful setting and very comfortable place to stay
Très bien décoré, spacieux, accueil chaleureux
No lotion in the room, but plenty of shampoo😂
Good location, quiet, friendly staff
Beautiful Historic Mansion updated with all current comforts. Incredible landscaping. A feel good environment. Comfortable room.
Had every convenient amenity to make you feel comfortable. Beautiful building , and a 100 out of ten hospitality from the manager, who went above and beyond in making our stay enjoyable.
The hard 10 o’clock not being out in the back patio rule .
Terrific location in the heart of Walla Walla. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds. Hot tubs in the sauna area were a true highlight - wonderful outdoor space in general.
2 blocks from town hub
Spotless room. Beautiful grounds that are so inviting. Fire pits & outdoor games, really lovely property
The location was really great - close to downtown shops and tasting rooms. Hotel was charming and had a great atmosphere.
My husband wished there was a table in our room to use for dining, but that’s partly on us picking a room that didn’t have that.
Comfort, convenience, great amenities and aesthetics!
Clean, comfortable, and easy walking distance to downtown or Whitman. Parking on site.
Shower water pressure was a little low for me, but that's it.
This is our second time staying at the Wesley, and we would love to stay there again! It has such a great feel to it. So cute, chic, warm, inviting, and the staff are so friendly! It is so central to town, so we really enjoyed taking our morning walk into town to grab breakfast and roam the shops. We highly recommend the Wesley to anyone staying in Walla Walla.
The showers could have been a bit hotter, but we understand it might not be set up to keep all showers very hot if multiple rooms are using them at the same time.
Spacious room, comfortable. Great location. Adequate parking. Microwave and coffee and small refrigerator available in common area.
Essentially no human contact except by text. Would prefer an individual mini refrigerator in the room.
Beautiful unit, but highly overpriced for what it offers The unit itself is very nice, clean, and beautifully decorated. The location is also excellent, which was the main highlight of the stay. However, it completely fails to justify a price tag of $350 a night. The entire check-in and stay felt completely robotic and devoid of any human touch. Communication consisted of exaggerated, overly long text messages crammed with endless instructions, yet there was zero actual hospitality or a genuine check-in. It felt like dealing with a corporate machine rather than a host. For a premium price, you expect a premium experience, but the policies fell short. I was never informed that there was a jacuzzi on the property, so I couldn't enjoy it because I hadn't packed for it. To make matters worse, being hit with a sign asking guests to wash their own dishes before leaving—while paying a luxury nightly rate—felt entirely inappropriate. It is a lovely space, but the value just isn't there. Booking this at $350 a night was an expensive mistake I won't make again.
Lower the price, provide some goodies in the room that will justify the price, send a better description of the place with the amenities it includes, find a way to reduce the number of the text messages that are sent before checking in
The staff (Pascal) was very communicative. The shared garden is the golden ticket here. I was here to celebrate a big birthday and it was a perfect place to gather at night around a fire table (only until 10 pm btw - Walla Walla rules) - and in the morning for breakfast. We even did pilates and work out on the grass spaces. The hot tubs are beautiful and there is a small cold pool. We stayed in the 3-bedroom unit - well-appointed, easy to use. Blankets were easy to find (as were pool towels, etc.) We will be back!
It is an older building so the larger bedroom downstairs could get cold. And honestly, not being able to be up after 10 pm was a bummer (but not The Wesley's call).
Beautiful setting, comfortable bed, lovely room, so close to downtown!
The Wesley, a historical hotel within walking distance of town, was unique.. and one of the greatest finds in our many years of travel. Studio suites, hot tub, garden patios, peacefulness. We were fortunate to have found this oasis in the middle of the city and to have met the owner.. busy repainting a board on the house!
Beautiful and tranquil
What a beautiful suite in a beautiful town. This little gem was a great stay.
Location was perfect! It’s a close walk to town for meals, tastings and shopping. Clean and comfortable. Lots of outdoor space to enjoy the beautiful weather we had.

The property was perfectly appointed. The attention to details was outstanding.
I loved the charm and elegance.
Great location. Beautiful room, very well appointed including a chilled bottle of rose’ upon arrival. Great ambiance. Very quiet. They even had special treats for my pup!
Great location, beautiful property, patio area is lovely.
The location and the cleanliness of the room.
The bagth and hand towels do not absorb water. It's super hard to get dry after a shower. We believe they may be treated with a softener which removes absorbancy.
Walla Walla is a wonderful place to visit, and the visit becomes incredibly special with a stay at The Wesley. The decor is fabulous, honoring the exceptional building restoration while allowing cheeky little nouveau elements that surprise and delight.
I was unaware of a breakfast option.
Check in process was a little cumbersome. Would prefer one or two clicks to get what I need. However, staff texted immediately to help out. An overhead light over the front door could help people find their stuff while they work on getting the door code.
Fantastic location and facilities
No humans!
Beautifully renovated 1890’s craftsman style home. It feels like a mix of stepping back into time, with new modern style and amenities. We stayed in the penthouse suite so enjoyed having a full kitchen and also the top room with a view of the whole city. We played some fun card games together as a family from up there. It’s also walking distance to downtown which we loved.
No complaints.
Grounds and hot tub was super!
Parking was a little tricky.
Clean, cozy, lots of amenities and nice personal touches including a delicious bottle of wine
It was v hot in the room but fortunately they provided a fan
One of my favorite places to stay in Walla Walla. Beautiful , charming historic house, great location, lovely well kept outdoor space for relaxing w a fire pit and hot tubs, love the speakeasy Lucca Lounge downstairs. Easy check in
No option to check in early,it's all automated via text
Everything! We’ve stayed here several times and it never disappoints. A total gem!
The Wesley has so much charm and character! We really enjoyed our room and the amenities. Pascal was a wonderful host and sent excellent information ahead of time regarding check in and our room. We were even offered a complimentary bottle of wine from a local winery, an excellent night cap at the end of our evening. We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the back patio due to the weather, but the space looked nice to relax in the summer months. Location was walking distance to coffee, shops, and restaurants downtown walla walla. Looking forward to our next visit
Our room on the upper floor got quite stuffy. We couldn’t figure out the A/C in the bathroom, and just left our window open. Lovely stay otherwise!
We loved the vibe, service and we can’t wait to return!
The location was great. It was a fun experience. It was beautiful but uniquely decorated. Loved that it had hot tubs, a big refrigerator, tea, and kitchen supplies. The property manager was also great. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of.
There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.
Magnificent old house completely upgraded with all the extras, so much class and style! We had the suite on the first floor with our puppy and felt so at home. The grounds are beautiful with 2 hot tubs and plenty of room for multiple groups to hang out and relax. We appreciate the complimentary bottle of wine to enjoy by fire at night. Great location in town, easy parking on the premises. We will definitely stay here again!
Nothing it was perfect!
Lovely room, great old world feel very comfy bed
I found earplugs in the room, and then I found out why! Little loud, but not bad. Pillows were way to flat.
We did not have breakfast on site.
The only thing that I would suggest is a towl hook in the half bath, and a console next to the sink in the main bath to put items on.
Beautiful facility and grounds. We received very thorough information prior to arrival. The complimentary bottle of wine was a wonderful surprise, and the soaker tub was an absolute dream after a long day of traveling.
It was quite and beautifully set up
Stairs. If you have bad knees be sure to make sure you book a room on the first floor
Very clean
Seating not comfortable, staff none existent. Everything done by text. Might be great for some. Felt cold to an old school traveler.
We really loved it. The room was really cool and my wife loved the Giant clawfoot tub. The hot tubs and all the patio area was amazing and fun to hang out in. Definitely go back again
Clean, comfortable and withing walking distance downtown attractions.
I'm not from California nor am I woman. I have 0 complaints.
