Estelada Hostel Berg am Laim

We really liked the service on reception. They were very kind and let us leave our luggage after check out.

We didn't like the showers. It has a system where you need to touch a button for the water to run and after a few seconds it stops. With that being said the showers were clean and hey had lockers with them.

We had a beautiful room, very neat and clean. It was also so nice that after booking a room with 2 bunkbeds we got a room with 4 single beds which really made our day. I also liked the fact that the reception lady was so nice and put out time to show us around - it made us feel at home.

It wasn't very convenient that there was only 1 bathroom for the ladies in our hallway - as women tend to take their time and cause other's to wait. The guys also would have liked to have a bathroom closer to the room. The temperature of the bathroom and room was also very hot and humid, made it difficult to sleep as there was no fan or aircon.

Excellent team , well maintained , very clean and comfortable. Close to tram and shops , resteraunts nearby , great value .

Could do with a fan as the weather was hot .

There is refrigerator there. A table to eat! The place is close to public transportation.

It is a basement. No ventilation, no windows, no even oxygen in the summer hot day! No staff at all although they say they are! And the online support answers with delay and min of flexibility or helpfull guidance! The closet has no lock! No power outlets for each beds, only the bottom beds have outlets!! No cover for pillows! No curtain for beds. The bathroom is not close to room!!! I dont know how it works in winter. But I went there in hot summer days. No ventilation make the place like a hell. I couldn't sleep at all, and even I couldn't breath. And as there were no reception, I reached out to online support and ask them to cancel my booking. They said it is not possible and they told me all these uncomfortable experiences are because of you selected the cheap room!! so I told them ok, I will pay more, change my room at least or change the bed to bottom one!! but nothing helpfull happened! even they told me I shouldn't change my bed inside the room because it has been reserved!! But 2 bottom beds were empty!!! while I couldn't ecen breath on top bed!!! So if you want book there, don't choose the upper beds!!

Milý personál. Možnosť self check in. možnosť uvariť si v spoločnej kuchynke.

Always a pleasure to overnight here! Great conditions, very clean, easy check in steps - team, you're doing an excellent job!

The hostel was good it was my second experience living in the hostel first one was with A&O Hostels and second one with them and i really liked their hostel each and everything

Nothing

I liked the cleanliness, the location, and parking provisions. Very convenient!

Nothing, except the lack of fans for air circulation. Otherwise it was a great stay.

Very calm and quiet, clean. Good relaxing music on a background. Comfortable location. Rooms have everything you need.

Personnel was super friendly and helpful

Betten bezogen , sauberes Hostel

Overall a nice experience although I received the check in instruction only in the afternoon of the day of my arrival but I understand thats the hostel policy. The receptionist was a nice person as she agreed to keep my bag at the lobby after check out at no extra cost and was helpful with directions as well. Kitchen facility had enough cup, pots and cutlery and was neat and clean.

Quite hours were not fully observed as my room mate was watching video without Earphone after 10.30 Pm and the in the shower room , curtains can be a little wider.

Không có thang máy

A recepção foi impecável, super atenciosa e prestativa. Me senti totalmente confortável no hostel, cozinha equipada e tudo que precisava.

Fint hostel. Det var ren och trevligt.

Ventilation finns inget.

miła obsługa, dobre miejsce, czysto

La habitación limpia y la zona comunitaria bien

Duchas y lavabos mal

The room was probably the most confortable hostel room I’ve ever stayed in, the bed was comfortable, and had a lot of storage space. The kitchen was very big and well equipped, the living room was big and comfortable. The staff was really friendly and everything was super clean. There is a paid coffee machine and vending machine. While it looks far from the city center in the map, it’s a good distance.

While I get the importance of saving water, the showers lasting less than 10 seconds at a time are extremely annoying to use. There are relatively few bathrooms for the amount of beds, but honestly I’ve seen much worse. The hostel doesn’t seem like a great place to meet people if that’s your goal, although maybe it didn’t help that I don’t speak German.

I liked everything about this place. The staff, the location and the overall facilities. Plus, the lady at the reception, Mitra, she does her job so well and so professionally. She made sure everyone had a nice comfortable time. I will come back here for sure.

They’re very nice. I love their two women are from Albania that amazing friend friendly

Excellent location and conditions!! 👌🏼

Ok..

Very clean and nice ambience.

less number of toilets.

It was quiet.

My shoe was stolen.

The kitchen and women only bathroom

Too noisy at night. Noise coming from outside

It's best if the showerhead is moveable.

Супер

Staff was so hospitable and kind. They helped me for everything

Angenehme Atmosphäre, tolle Lage, Mitarbeiter alle super lieb.

Stayed there for a second time already for work and I enjoyed it once more. Staff is friendly and helpful and always have a smile and a joke on their lips. Place is clean and if you need help, they will go out of their way to do so. Location seems at first a bit on the outer area of Munich, but it is as good connected to the public transport as it can be and its easy to go wherever you want. Shopping is also no problem as you are surrounded by supermarkets, etc.

Local aconchegante, equipe super atenciosa, cozinha completa.

Everything was perfect, it should have a higher rating. Spotless, quiet, excellent bathrooms, large immaculate kitchen and lounge, smooth self check-in, comfy bed. All brand new and very well kept. The tram stops right outside, 15 minutes ride to the city centre/train station. Lidl 4 minutes walk. I'll stay again next time in Munich

Nice and clean rooms

Location and staff

zonas comunes limpias

All staff were excellent in their duties.

all ok by my experience, just keep doing what you are doing?

Clean facility.

A bit loud environment.

Alles gut

Don’t expect to get a good night’s sleep. There is no staff or security on duty during the night. At around 3 a.m., someone repeatedly kicked the door of the room next to mine. It went on for several minutes, and I was too scared to sleep afterwards. I did not feel safe staying here.
