Poca intimidad. El dueño llegó a la casa antes incluso que la hora del desayuno, ya estaba la cocinera dentro y él ni siquiera llamó a la puerta Además , había cervezas en la nevera con coste pero nosotros dejamos 2 nuestras y tomamos una suya por error Le dijimos que dejábamos las dos nuestras ( de precio más caro en el supermercado que las suyas) pero no aceptó y nos hizo pagar 6€ por un botellín. Muy mal

Il Riad è bellissimo . Nordine e Fouzia sono stati molto gentili e accoglienti con noi. Cucinano cose buonissime e Nordine è sempre affidabile e disponibile a dare i migliori consigli. Il proprietario Gerard non ha mancato di venirci a salutare con molta cordialità. Riad consigliatissimo.

Impresiona lo cuidado de la decoración y el gusto por los detalles étnicos y representativos del lugar. Se agradece que esté perfectamente limpio y que continuamente se preocupen de mantenerlo así. El desayuno fue todo un placer culinario a la gastronomía local, especialmente agradecerle a Nordeen y a la mujer que diariamente nos atendieron y ayudaron a sentirnos como en casa.

Por ponerle alguna objeción, nos hubiera gustado disponer de algo más de privacidad en el baño de la suite, ya que carecía de puerta o separación física con alguna cortina. Hay otro baño independiente que si tenía puerta.

El Riad es hermoso, esta rn plena Medina, es amplio, super bien decorado. Tiene 2 lavabos y 3 habitaciones preciosas. Un jacuzzi arriba y terracita con sol

Su comida esta riquisima pero es cara

The incredibly kind and helpful staff. They were always welcoming, attentive, and ready to assist with anything we needed, making us feel right at home.

The riad is located among old buildings and narrow traditional streets, giving it an authentic local character. However, the area can feel a bit quiet and unfamiliar at night, so it may not feel very comfortable to walk alone after dark.

The beds were very comfortable, facilities were excellent . Nordean was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. He even gave us his mobile number just in case we needed anything. Thank you, Nordean.I apologise though if I have misspelt your name🫣 We also had a lovely lady come in each morning to prepare and serve breakfast to us, always with a friendly smile. 😃 Compliments to Gerald for having such a wonderful Riad, beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and maintained to a high standard.

The cctv in the dining/seating area as well as in the kitchen is a little intrusive. Yes, Booking.com does state that there's CCTV in communal areas. However, I would not expect sitting watching tv or dining in to be included as a "communal" area. I would've expected my seating/dining area to be private and not under surveillance by CCTV. Sitting watching tv knowing that you're possibly being watched is rather disconcerting. I have nothing to hide, nor would I be engaging in illegal activities, but I do like and appreciate my privacy.

✨ Un immense merci à Gérald et Kaoutar, Je tiens à les remercier du fond du cœur pour leur gentillesse, leur disponibilité et leur professionnalisme. Gérald m’a aidée à planifier notre séjour plusieurs jours à l’avance, a répondu à mes nombreuses questions et a tout mis en œuvre pour que nous nous sentions vraiment pris en charge. Il avait même prévu une navette pour venir nous chercher à l’aéroport (notre vol arrivait de nuit) et quelqu’un pour nous accueillir au Riad dès notre arrivée. Malheureusement, un imprévu est venu tout bouleverser : des drones au-dessus de notre aéroport de départ ont entraîné la fermeture de l’espace aérien… Résultat : notre vol a été retardé de deux jours 😞Sur un séjour de seulement quatre jours, il n’était plus raisonnable de partir. Le Riad était déjà payé et la période d’annulation gratuite dépassée. Mais Gérald, qui a suivi nos péripéties en direct, a tout fait pour nous éviter des frais d’annulation. Grâce à son intervention, Booking a finalement accepté de nous rembourser le séjour, ce qui n’aurait certainement pas été possible sans lui 🙏 Je recommande vivement le Riad Dar Fena by K & G à tous ceux qui veulent découvrir Marrakech dans les meilleures conditions. Un grand merci encore à Gérald et Kaoutar pour leur bienveillance et leur professionnalisme.

El Riad ha cumplido nuestras expectativas. Gerard y Nordine nos estaban esperando para la entrega de llaves y darnos las explicaciones pertinentes. Lo hemos encontrado muy limpio. Las camas muy buenas, hemos dormido muy bien y sin ruidos. En cuanto al desayuno, Fouzia se ha encargado de tener todo preparado cada mañana, perfecto, Fouzia es un encanto. Nordine...sencillamente GENIAL

L'hôte, Nordine et Fawsia étaient très aidants et toujours prêts à aider. L'endroit est magnifique, espace salon très agréable. Terrasses magnifiques. Meilleurs petits-déjeuners de notre séjour. Le frigo est rempli de trucs que l'on peut prendre à petits prix. Chauffage dans chaque chambre. Eau chaude. Alors que nous retournions au Québec, notre ainé restait au Maroc, Nordine et Gérald l'ont aidé.

L'hébergement propose des produits de beauté dans les salles de bain, mais ils ne sont pas identifiés. Juste un petit collant nous permettrait de mieux en profiter.

Nous avons passé 4 jours en famille dans ce riad, où l’accueil de Nordine, Fouzia, Gérald et Kaoutar a été tout simplement parfait. Leur professionnalisme, leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité ont rendu notre séjour inoubliable. Un immense merci à eux pour avoir répondu à toutes nos demandes avec tant d’attention. Le cours de cuisine à domicile avec Kaoutar restera un moment privilégié, un souvenir que nous chérirons longtemps. Le riad est d’une propreté impeccable, la literie est excellente, et tout Marrakech est accessible à pied. Une adresse à recommander sans hésitation pour un séjour authentique et chaleureux ! Mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner servi chaque matin, un vrai délice.

L'immense gentillesse de Nordine et Faouzar

El alojamiento es perfecto, tal cual las fotos. La limpieza es impecable. Nordine es genial, super atento y amable, cualquier cosa el te la soluciona, nos ha sido de gran ayuda durante nuestra estancia. La ama de llaves que estaba por las mañanas con desayunos deliciosos. La ubicación dentro de la Medina pero lejos del mogollón.

Nada, todo estuvo genial.

El alojamiento es perfecto, tal cual las fotos , increíblemente bien decorado , lleno de detalles . La limpieza era impecable , imposible encontrar una mota de polvo o un bicho. Tenía de todo, tele ,altavoces , internet , A/C con bomba de calor , calefactor para la terraza exterior . Las camas super cómodas . Hemos dormido como reyes . Los desayunos deliciosos . Nordine increíblemente atento , amable , nos ha sido de gran ayuda durante nuestra estancia . Mención especial también al ama de llaves que estaba por las mañanas con los desayunos y a Gerald, que nos dio la bienvenida en primer día y respondió a mis dudas por WhatsApp antes de viajar . La ubicación es excelente , en un la calle cercana hay muchos restaurantes a buen precio . Dentro de la Medina pero lejos del tumulto . Puedes ir caminando a todos los sitios de interés

Our stay was absolutely exceptional, and we give it the highest possible rating without hesitation. The place itself is stunning—spacious and high-quality, yet it feels incredibly cozy and "homely". And the price was very affordable. We visited during the holiday season, and the Christmas tree prepared for us was a lovely touch that made us feel welcome instantly. The location is perfect. We were close to the Souks, immersed in the atmosphere of the traditional Marrakech. The local neighborhood was authentic, yet we felt completely safe and peaceful there. It is also an excellent base for excursions—tour buses can pick you up from Bab Yacout, which is located almost right at the Riad. However, what truly made our trip unforgettable was the service. Nordin, who looked after us, is the true "heart of the Riad." He was always available, smiling, and absolutely dedicated. Whether we needed something during the day or had to wake up very early for a trip to the surrounding areas, Nordin ensured we had everything we needed. It was genuine hospitality. Nordin was happy to chat with us, sharing insights about local customs and culture—for instance, he taught us why "Amazigh" is the preferred term over "Berber." Thanks to his care, we felt completely looked after and delighted. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for authenticity, comfort, and amazing people. It's a gem with world-class hospitality.

This is a beautiful riad—very stylish and equipped with great amenities. The hosts were extremely welcoming. Since they primarily speak French, David, who speaks English, looked after us during our stay and was always incredibly helpful. We have certain dietary requirements, and they were very responsive to our needs. We enjoyed an amazing breakfast on the terrace, cooked by a very kind lady. At first, we were a bit concerned that the riad was located slightly farther from the main part of town, but it actually turned out to be perfect. This area has more unique shops, artisan workshops, and craft market stalls—much more charming than the main drag. Many thanks for your warm hospitality. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this riad.

Everything was good

Accueil parfait avec thé et petit gâteaux Notre transfert entre l’aéroport et le logement avait été organisé à l'avance Logement parfait, très beau et parfaitement aménagé Bonne literie et calme Petit déjeuner varié, préparé tous les matin par Fouzia à l'heure de votre choix.

Le logement se trouve dans la Medina à 20,30 minutes de place et le quartier peut faire peur a première vue mais aucun problème de sécurité et nous n'avons pas été importuner. Pour plus de facilité et sentiment de sécurité, prendre le taxi qui vous déposera à la porte la plus proche qui se trouve à moins de deux minutes à pied du logement.

El riad precioso y muy limpio. Las camas muy cómodas El personal muy atento y simpático. El anfitrión se puso en contacto con nosotras para ayudarnos y recibirnos.El desayuno abundante y bueno.

Por la noche el recorrido hasta llegar al Riad nos pareció un poco peligroso, pero Marwan, el chico que se quedaba en el Riad, se ofreció a irnos a buscar al punto donde nos dejó el taxi.

Riad privatif pour vous et votre famille uniquement c’est très bien pour ceux qui recherchent l’intimité. Le décor et moderne et authentique à la fois, très bon goût ! Propreté exceptionnelle ! Mais le plus important ce sont les propriétés Gérald et Kaoutar sans oublier la gouvernante Fouzia ! Communication avant notre arrivé , l’accueil chaleureux avec le thé et gâteaux et l’eau pour faire une petite pause après la route et avant nous faire visiter le Riad. Merci beaucoup pour votre gentillesse et hospitalité ! On partage vos coordonnées avec nos amis et on vous dit à la prochaine !😁🌸

Localisation de Riad est dans la médina kdima ( c’est ce qui été mentionné) est pas loin de Jamma Al Fenna et la proximité de la gare, mais le quartier est effrayant (pour les promenades de soir surtout). Il faut mieux d’être accompagné ou rester et profiter de magnifique Riad!

The Riad is beautiful, it was clean, every room has AC, it has a rooftop, jacuzzi and plenty of spaces for group meetings. Fouzia, the houselady, she prepares our breakfast every morning and keep the riad clean, she’s lovely. Koutar, she’s a good cook, she prepared our dinner on our first night and everything was flavourful. The cake she made was delicious and she gave a bottle of sparkling juice for my birthday which is nice.

It’s hard to communicate with the owner because they don’t listen to our explanations. The owner has charged us again for city tax which was already included in the payment we made on booking.com. They insisted that the tax in booking.com is different from the marrakech city tax, so we have to pay 500dhs. It was a stressful first night. If u have to book the number of people, make sure that you book the exact number of people, as they will charge more for the additional person. I thought they would be considerate enough to at least be fair with charges because I have asked their permission but they charged us 50euro/night for the additional person. The Riad is quite far from the medina square, about 25 minutes walk. There is no privacy in the Riad, there are cctv in the lounge and kitchen and the owners are intrusive, always present everyday during our stay asking for money. We have booked a private excursion to Essaouira, it was fine if he charged us double, but the car has no AC and it was a hot day. The driver Reda is lovely though. There are stocks of drinks and crisps that was for sale, so we took 4 bottles of water and we number it 1, 2, 3, 4 but Gerald is insisting that we took 10 bottles of water instead of 4.

Beautifully decorated

The riad was comfortable, stylish and clean. Lots of common space for big groups to gather together, both in the living room and the rooftop. Friendly and helpful hosts.

The breakfast was very very good

The host is not nice at all. We booked three nights, since our flight got cancelled, 4 of us missed the first night, we didn’t request refund, the third night, we had two more friend joined ( the property was for 6 people), She tried to charge us 20 times more money than the difference price online, our friends ended finding another place nearby, but she still filed a wrong claim to booking.com for additional payment. She is not a reasonable person. I don’t recommend this property to anyone!

Fantastic home away from home in the city walls, with most attractions within walking distance and a number of places to eat at close by (from restaurants to local food stalls). The freshly made breakfast is excellent.

Only thing was that the beds are hard, and it took a while to get used to the more traditional aspect.

Dar Julia riad is beautifully decorated and the roof terraces are lovely, with a fantastic view of the mountains, it was amazing to relax in the jacuzzi also. It is a good location, within walking distance of Jardin Majorelle, Ben Youssef Madrasa, the Souks and Jemaa el fna. The hosts Gerald and Kaoutar were very helpful and attentive, providing lots of great information and supported with local taxis too, the breakfast by Fouzia each day was fabulous.

Beautiful property just like the pictures or even better! Our host was kind and welcoming. The house keeper made delicious breakfast every morning. We definitely recommend staying here for your visit to Marrakech.
