Cliffside Bamboo Treehouse with Heated Pool and View

Everything was beyond expectation , kind staff, the pool was amazing due to heat system , food is delicious , full privacy , I would recommend the cliffside bamboo treehouse to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and gateway stay

This is what true hospitality looks like. Everyone was incredibly kind, cheerful, understanding, professional, and genuinely willing to help. They didn’t just solve the problem — they made me feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for. They managed to calm me down, completely change my mood, and actually make me smile again. This is my first hospitality experience in Bali, so I cannot compare Avana with other hotels or say how situations like this are generally handled here. What I can compare it with is my experience back in my own country — and I can genuinely say that many professionals in the tourism and hospitality industry back home could learn a lot from the way the team at Avana handled this situation and, more importantly, from the way they treat their guests. What impressed me the most is that even when something went wrong, they managed to turn it into an experience that actually made me appreciate my stay even more. To me, that says much more about a hotel than everything simply being perfect from the beginning. A huge congratulations to the entire team. ❤️ Thank you for making me feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for. Despite the difficult start to the morning, you completely turned the situation around and made me even happier with my overall experience here. 10/10. The staff were amazing! Special shout out to Edi & Julie. Both went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as perfect as possible. Location/views are unreal! The food was incredible. Every meal was a hit! Attention to detail, always asking if we could use anything or needed anything.

Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen, ein Traum mit einer unglaublichen Aussicht. Das Personal war überaus herzlich, immer mit einem Lächeln. Wir haben von unserer Unterkunft einen Driver gebucht, welcher uns an die schönsten Orte gefahren hat. Es ist ein großes Vergnügen mit Supri den Tag zu verbringen. A truly incredible and unique stay! the Avana villas are located ~2 hours from the Denpasar airport in a beautiful, quaint area of Bali - it was truly the perfect place for my husband and I on our honeymoon! the Treehouse villa is so gorgeously built and it really felt like a once-in-a-lifetime type of stay. The staff was kind and helpful, and Edi, the host on site, is super responsive via Whatsapp. the Romantic package is absolutely worth it - lovely decorations, candlelit dinner, couples massage, and floating breakfast in the pool. by the way, the pool is heated which is AMAZING! the views from the villa were just stunning - green rice terraces on the cliffside, the Indian Ocean to the right, and Mount Agung to the left. we hired a private driver through the villa for a half day, and we opted to go to Goa Giri and Krisik waterfalls, followed by a coffee tasting and swing over the rice terraces. We loved the experience - because the villa is in a rural area, the places we visited were quiet and felt private/calm, with minimal other tourists (just the way we wanted it!). Supry was our driver, who was just amazing!!! He guided us to the waterfalls and basically gave us a comprehensive tour as we walked through the rice farms - he is so knowledgeable and fun, and he took awesome photos and videos for us. We also loved all the food we had at Avana - very tasty and it was easy to order food to the villa (through WhatsApp with the host and it is ready in ~30 mins). There is no big city or town nearby the villa, so planning to eat your meals at the villa is likely best. If you are looking for a peaceful, romantic, and memorable stay in Bali, you cannot go wrong with Avana! 10000/10 highly recommend!! We have already recommended the Avana Villas to multiple friends :)

The most wonderful stay in Bali. An amazing place with all the amenities. High culture, discretion, helpfulness, and a smile. A place hard to find in other countries. Beautiful views. 10-star facilities. And the breakfast was top-notch.

This was the most exceptional stay I have ever had from the breath taking views incredible outstanding staff, special Thankyou to Ali and everyone else they were so attentive. The property itself is so magical all the tiny details and the structure with bamboo was something iv never seen before. The food was delicious and we got a package for our honeymoon, rose petals everywhere, and a beautiful 4 course dinner. I wish we could have stayed a lot longer!

Nothing it was perfect

Our stay at the treehouse was wonderful, the view of the rice terrace and mountains, the accommodation, the staff, everything. Their cocktails are amazing, the staff is very kind and helpful.

The only thing I could say is that the location of the treehouse was very far from all the markets and restaurants. If you want to go out to eat it will take a while to get there (~40mins) and if you use food deliveries the food will get cold once it arrives but the staff was very kind to heat up our food.

The Bamboo Treehouse was the best accommodation we have ever stayed at! It was absolutely amazing. The whole treehouse is just beautiful. We could only stay for one night due to availability but it was so worth it. The view is breathtaking and the heated pool a dream. It is not cheap but worth every penny and an experience you don’t want to miss. We sat in the pool for ages just staring at the rice fields and the sea. If you get the chance to stay there, do it. You won’t regret it. There was a little basket with gifts from the hotel when we checked in which was so thoughtful and a wonderful memory to take with you when you leave. We can’t recommend this hotel enough. It’s truly magical and an experience you won’t forget.

First the View, is breathtaking and very peaceful, the villas architecture is unique and all of bamboo ,very clean and eco friendly The pool gives a nice view, as well you can see inside the pool from the bedroom below There is a bathtub downstairs on the balcony that also serves relaxation and wonderful view The food is excellent and tasty The staff are amazing and friendly In general, I would definitely recommend :) 10/10🙏🏽

The stunning floating treehouse took my breath away - an architectural masterpiece nestled in the lush, untouched beauty of Bali. The service was exceptional - thank you to Ali for catering to our every need. The romantic package is highly recommended - it included a delicious 4-course meal, an amazing floating breakfast, a blissful 1 hour in-villa couples massage and such beautiful decoration & even a lovely basket of thoughtful gifts with a personalised note. I felt like a princess in a floating bamboo castle, it was such a magical experience! My faves: - the breathtaking view: on a clear day can see Mt Agung volcano, the rice terraces, river Ayung flowing thru as well as the ocean. - the food - we had all our breakfast, lunch & dinner here & everything exceeded expectations. Food tasted so delicious, the portions were large & prices were reasonable. - the heated pool - perfect for a dip at night in the cool weather. - strong wifi. - serene & quiet location. - the outstanding service from all the staff. Very friendly, super fast - recommend to go on an experiential trip - we thoroughly enjoyed a half day trip to Besakih temple & a coffee plantation nearby.

Very minor points but some room for improvements: - offer more variety in the menu especially more local food.

The whole experience the breathtaking view the bamboo concept it is so relaxing and connects you to nature a stress free environment the cleanness of the property the hospitality and kindness of the staff they were so caring and nice the welcoming with the box of souvenirs. I can go on and on and on. It was just perfect.

Nothing to mention. I have a suggestion though it would be nice if you can have a special discount for the returnees we would love to enjoy that place every time we come to Sidemen and be loyal guests :)

The staff and location were exceptional! We were so overwhelmed to find a basket on arrival full of little gifts including a diffuser, bath salts, purse and candle!

The treehouse was beautiful! The service and food were exceptional! We would definitely stay again.

Although the scenery was absolutely beautiful it is in a very remote area. The sun did not hit the treehouse once during our stay which made it difficult to fully enjoy the experience as we were constantly in the shade. We had to go to a beach club on one of the days which was an hour’s drive away as we found ourselves twiddling our thumbs at times as there wasn’t much to do around the surrounding area of the villa. Although the villa was incredible we did not want to spend two days lying in the shade as it was a little cold and the pool was even colder! The treehouse could benefit from having a little sun terrace or communal area for guests to sunbathe as there are no loungers in the treehouse. The other Bamboo villas seemed to have little terraces where the sun directly hit them. There are no grab or go Jek taxis available however the staff helped us arrange a local driver. Beware though as the prices can be quite high and at times we felt the driver was chancing his luck with the pricing.

By far the best accommodation we’ve ever experienced. We were completely amazed when we were there, and we wanted to do nothing else but just stay in the floating villa and stare at the incredible architecture and views of the jungle, mountains, volcanos. Photos simply don’t do justice to this place. Incredibly unique villa made from bamboo, with 3 floors, swimming pool that overlooks the jungle, net over the pool that gives you a floating feeling, bedroom with a huge round bed, where you can see the inside of the swimming pool, and with a bathtub on the balcony. If you get up early you can catch the sunrise from your bed. We also had massages inside the villa which were really relaxing. Everything was very clean, even though the bathroom was pretty much outdoor. The breakfast was very tasty and the staff was also very nice. Would definitely recommend for a unique stay!

I think the price was a bit expensive, but I do think the villa was very special, unique and luxurious.

The photos don’t even do it justice! The staff were so friendly and welcoming and took care of our every need. The chef catered for our different dietary requirements, and I had some of the best vegan food I’ve ever had. Couldn’t recommend this place more! Will definitely be staying again and for longer next time
