Vlakbij het centrum van Houffalize, ruime locatie met leuk terras en wellness faciliteiten.

We hebben een zeer fijn verblijf gehad in deze ruime en comfortabele woning. Het huis zelf is netjes en goed onderhouden. Er zijn voldoende slaapkamers en het is heel fijn dat iedereen over een eigen badkamer beschikt. De living is mooi en ruim en ook de keuken is goed uitgerust. Voor gezinnen met kinderen is de woning zeker een aanrader. Er is voldoende materiaal aanwezig, zoals een eetstoel en babybedje, wat het verblijf met jonge kinderen extra aangenaam maakt. Zowel de eettafel binnen als buiten is ruim genoeg voor een grotere groep. Er zijn nog enkele kleine verbeterpuntjes. De ramen waren bij aankomst nogal vuil. Tijdens ons verblijf was het erg warm en voor een woning in deze prijscategorie zou airconditioning zeker een meerwaarde zijn. Een extra koffieapparaat voor capsules zou ook handig zijn. Daarnaast zou een veegborstel voor het terras praktisch zijn, aangezien er enkel een stofzuiger aanwezig was. Een duidelijke handleiding voor het gebruik van de hottub, met ook wat informatie rond hygiëne en onderhoud, zou eveneens handig zijn. Voor de buitenkussens zou een afgesloten opslagplaats fijn zijn, zeker omdat deze wit zijn en zo properder kunnen blijven. Buiten deze kleine verbeterpuntjes willen we benadrukken dat we een zeer fijn verblijf hadden in deze woning! Super!

Het huis heeft lekker de ruimte! Ligt in een gezellig dorpje en de tuin is echt heerlijk om in de ochtend in wakker te worden!

De hottub was niet helemaal schoon en er waren wel steeds vliegen in huis, ook al waren de ramen en deuren vaak gesloten. Vind ik toch niet fijn als je aan het koken bent bijvoorbeeld. Verder echt een fijn verblijf gehad!

Wat een prachtig huis! Alles aanwezig, heerlijke tuin en fijne sfeer. Tip Het was uitzonderlijk warm en we waren blij dat we ventilatoren mee hadden genomen. Maar nog fijner was een bezoek aan de grotten van Han toen het buiten 36 graden was.

Eigenlijk niks. Alles was gewoon goed. Wel een tip: leg "iets" klaar in de accommodatie waarop staat wat er van gasten verwacht wordt. Bv: waar laat je het afval, hoe schoon moet het huis achtergelaten worden etc.

The house is beautiful, spacious and clean. The double rooms all have en suite shower and sink facilities, but no toilets. There are two separate toilets, one on the ground level the other on the top floor. We loved the outdoor space and tranquility. Location was perfect, just 3 minutes to walk into the centre of Houffalize, which is equally as beautiful. We did not use the lounge much, but again it was spacious with a L shaped sofa, TV, pool table and dart board. A lot of thought has gone into this house, all of which was appreciated. The kitchen/dining area is huge. Although we were only a group of five friends, so used all the bedrooms, the house would easily accommodate double that number and not feel cramped. The weather was hot, so we were lucky, but we did not make full use of the sauna/hot tub. The owner, Marie, communicated exceptionally, was nearby and always available. I will definitely consider staying again, when in the area.

There is nothing to dislike. I have absolutely no complaints. The only comment I have is the description of rooms could be altered a little as in its current form gives the impression all rooms have en suite toilet facilities, which they don’t. It is perhaps my misunderstanding.

Heel mooi huis. Zelfs mooier dan op foto's. Locatie top! Prachtige omgeving.

De inrichting, ruimtelijke kamers, netheid en ligging

Sehr schönes Haus mit einer tollen Raumaufteilung für eine Großfamilie. Das Grundstück ist idyllisch, trotzdem ist man zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten im Zentrum und beim Supermarkt. Der Ausblick auf den Fluss Ourthe vom Esszimmer aus ist ein Traum und hat auch zu einer entspannten Zeit beigetragen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ruim huis, alles vlakbij, veel te doen in de buurt

De woning en de ligging ervan

De beschrijving wekte de indruk, dat er minimaal 3 toiletten waren. Echter het waren er slechts 2 en dat is op 9 gasten / gezinnen een beetje weinig

Magnifique séjour en famille, un gîte exceptionnel avec tout les équipements nécessaires. Superbe vue sur l'ourthe. On reviendra certainement.

We arrived at 14.00 to have a late lunch in Houffalize before the 16.00 check in time. As the house was so close to the centre of Houffalize we arrived and asked if we could leave our car at the house in the meantime, and were told the house was ready for us and we could just check in early. In fact nothing was too much trouble for our hosts who were so helpful during our short stay. The house was so well-equipped and everything was of very high quality. The location was exceptional: only a few minutes walk to the centre of the village, and with a view of the river Ourthe from the kitchen/dining room, which had sliding doors into the large gardens. The Delhaize supermarket 5 minutes walk away had absolutely everything we could possibly need and more. The sauna was a fantastic added bonus and we were disappointed we only had time to use it once during our stay. Next time we will definitely stay longer.

Grote propere woning met veel ruimte voor een grote familie of groep. Vier van de 5 slaapkamers heeft eigen doucheruimte echt een luxe. Grote woonruimte en een keuken die alles heeft wat je nodig hebt. Wasmachine, droogkast, babybedjes, babystoel, aankleedtafel...heel veel voorzien voor baby's en kinderen. In de zomer is het zeker zalig om te verblijven in de tuin die niet volledig omheind is. Centrum met winkels en restaurants op heel korte wandelafstand en toch heel rustig gelegen in een doodlopende straat. Host is heel behulpzaam en woont dichtbij.

Wij misten 2 tal echte relax zetels in de leefruimte dat zou het helemaal perfect hebben gemaakt. En een tip om ook een babybadje te voorzien owv allemaal douches. Een extra toilet thv sauna /jacuzzi zou echt een grote meerwaarde zijn.

Chauffage in de slaapkamer werkte niet

Prachtig, ruim en schoon huis. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Rustige locatie, op loopafstand van het centrum van Houffalize. Absolute aanrader!

De ruimte en de faciliteiten en de welwillendheid om de hottub alvast op te stoken terwijl wij aan het fietsen waren en er nog geen hout was.

Helaas waren de schuifdeuren naar het terras kapot (maar de intentie was er om dit zsm te repareren).

We stayed in this home with 2 families with teenage kids, 9 persons in total. We loved the location of the home. It’s walking distance (couple of 100 m’s) to the center of Houffalize with restaurants and bakeries. We biked and hiked straight from the home. We enjoyed having the river in the back yard of the home to cool down, and the hot tub to warm up again. The home is very modern and clean.

we self catered, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. If you manage to find a fault with this property i would be amazed. If you read all the amenity's there are at this property you may think you are in a five star chalet.Our party all thought it was out standing.The host was excellent too.

such a beautiful house! very clean, a lot of things to do (sauna, Jacuzzi, big garden, Billard & Darts, PlayStation 4 (one controller), Smart TV, good sound system (Sonos) and two mobile Music boxes from JBL to have Music everywhere you go). the kitchen was great and well equipped. the dining room, one little room to read and work with a beautiful view on the river & garden. a big clean garden to enjoy the sun. the little bar in the basement! beautiful. and the town of Houffalize really a surprise. enough tourists to not feel alone but small & green enough to enjoy being outside of the city. very kind owner(s). good communication.
