Pascale und Igor haben in ihrem Herrenhaus mit wunderschönem Garten ein kleines Paradies geschaffen. Das ganze Anwesen ist geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Jeden Morgen gab es ein liebevoll zubereitetes frisches Frühstück auf der Terrasse, abwechslungsreich, gesund und lecker. Man fühlt sich immer willkommen und hat das Gefühl, dass es Pascale und Igor eine Herzensangelegenheit ist, ihre Gäste zu verwöhnen. Vielen Dank für diesen wunderbaren Aufenthalt!

We had a very lovely stay in this small hotel. The french hosts were very kind and helpful. The building itself got renovated and furnished with a great taste! As well as the breakfast which was mostly homemade with fresh and healthy products, but it was still plenty. We loved our stay here and we can really recommend it!

Sehr tolle Unterkunft bei wundervollen Gastgebern in traumhafter Atmosphäre. Jedes Zimmer und alle Gemeinschaftsräume wurden mit viel Liebe gestaltet. Der Garten und Poolbereich sind ein Traum, das Frühstück sehr gut. Alles perfekt, ein wahres Juwel.

Alles: Die Gastgeber, Pascale und Igor, die den Aufenthalt mit ihrer herzlichen Art einmalig gemacht haben. Beide waren extrem bemüht und man hat an jeder Stelle des Hotels die Liebe zum Detail gesehen. Das Frühstück war mit Abstand das beste, das wir auf unserer Reise hatten. Jeden Tag gab es etwas anderes, frisches und gesundes vorbereitet. Und letztlich das ganze Anwesen, wunderschön und so stilvoll eingerichtet. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Pascale and Igor have created a little paradise in the middle of Algarve. Every detail in their beautiful estate has been thought through. But what makes the difference is their unmatched hospitality. They are the perfect guests. Oh, and the breakfast… probably one of the best I’ve ever had while in holiday. We will be back. 10 out of 10!

There’s nothing not to like here. Perfect 10.

Die Lage im Hinterland von Faro, weg vom Trubel der Touristenströme an der Algarve - sehr angenehm zur vollkommenen Erholung. Die beiden Gastgeber sind außerordentlich zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit, äußerst angenehm! Das alte Gutshaus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und liebevoll bis ins Detail renoviert und ausgestattet. Die Zimmer (nur fünf!) sowie die übrigen Aufenthaltsräume sind sehr großzügig geplant, haben tolle Raumhöhen, in und um das schöne Ensemble gibt es zahlreiche gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten. Es gibt einen wunderbaren kleinen Pool im schön angelegten Garten mit altem Baumbestand. Jeden Tag ein fantastisches und reichhaltiges Frühstück, mit sehr viel Sorgfalt zubereitet - rundum ein Ort zum wohlfühlen und entspannen! Alles ist schlicht und äußerst geschmackvoll gehalten, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen wieder! Vielen lieben Dank an Pascal und Igor!

Nous avons été touchés par tout l’amour que vous mettez dans chaque coin, chaque détail, si soigneusement décoré et pensé. C’est vraiment un lieu plein de charme et de douceur. Le petit-déjeuner chaque matin, les nappes en lin, les serviettes, la créativité et l’attention dans chaque plat, toujours apportés avec le sourire… tout cela a rendu notre séjour vraiment unique et inoubliable. On sent à chaque instant tout l’amour et le soin que vous mettez dans ce lieu et dans votre accueil. Nous espérons de tout cœur revenir un jour.

We stayed three nights at Solar do Bisavô and it truly exceeded our expectations. Everything radiated quality, from the beautifully finished room to the breakfast, the peaceful garden and the high standard of the bed and bath linen. You could feel that Pascale and Igor have poured their hearts into this place. Their pride and dedication to their life’s work is visible in every detail. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. A calm and soothing atmosphere settled the moment we arrived. Every morning, Pascale surprised us with a different homemade breakfast. From Breton crêpes with lemon to panna cotta with fresh fruit, each dish was both refined and full of care. The location was also excellent, with lovely day trips possible to Tavira, Olhão and Faro. But even just staying on the property was a pleasure, surrounded by stillness, space and soft hills. A place we will remember for its atmosphere, sincere hospitality and understated excellence.

Die Woche ist viel zu schnell vergangen und schon müssen wir Abschied nehmen vom wunderschönen Solar do Bisavo und den liebevollen Gastgebern. Wir bedanken uns für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft und wir haben uns sofort wohl und gut aufgenommen gefühlt. Die Liebe und Aufmerksamkeit von Pascale und Igor war immer und überall zu spüren. Das Haus ist mit so viel Gefühl renoviert und ihr habt viel Geschmack bei der Gestaltung und Einrichtung bewiesen. Die Gastgeber haben einen wahren Schatz und ganz besonderen Ort darauf gemacht. Danke Pascale für das herrliche Frühstück. Du hast unseren kulinarischen Horizont wahrlich erweitert.....Alles Liebe !

Wir hätten viel länger bleiben sollen !

Une parenthèse de quiétude dans un établissement exceptionnel décoré avec beaucoup de goût…très chic et accueillis par Pascale et Igor dotés d’une très grande gentillesse soucieux de notre confort et non avides de bonnes suggestions. Pascale et Igor ont magnifié cet ancienne Quinta Tout y est absolument superbe : la décoration soignée dans les moindres détails, les chambres sont magnifiques sans oublié le jardin et la piscine qui s’intègre parfaitement. Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel avec des produits locaux et variés préparés avec soin par les maîtres de la maison Et je n’oublie pas la gentillesse et la disponibilité de Pascale et Igor qui nous ont parlé de la région et de leur maison avec passion Je n’ai regretté qu’une chose : ne pas y avoir passé plus de temps

Pascale and Igor were wonderful hosts. They have renovated their historic property beautifully and with great style. My room was spacious and very comfortable (with an amazing ceiling!). Breakfasts were fantastic and featured delicious local produce. Pascale showed me the route for a beautiful two hour circular walk amongst the cork trees in a protected area starting in Barranco do Velho which I definitely recommend. I had a very relaxing stay and would definitely recommend Solar Do Bisavo. Thank you!

This is a wonderful place to stay. The owners have attended to every detail when renovating a beautiful old building. But it’s also their care and attention which makes a stay here outstanding. And of course the wonderful breakfasts on the terrace. We’ll be back .

Eine der schönsten Unterkünfte in der wir bisher übernachtet haben! Pascale und Igor sind perfekte Gastgeber! Wir wurden mit vielen wertvollen Infos und Tips versorgt. Das Herrenhaus wurde mit viel Liebe renoviert. Tolle Innenausstattung, hochwertige Materialen, großes Zimmer und sehr bequeme Betten. Alles ist stimmig. Das gesunde Frühstück mit regionalen Produkten ist einmalig! Danke, für einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in Solar do Bisavô. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder..

From our arrival up until departure we were treated like more than just guests. Pascale and Igor are super welcoming, made us feel at home and were helpful offering any kind of information or support. We were offered an upgrade to a 1st floor room overlooking the garden and sea. The building is authentic in style and fully renovated to modern today standards while assuring comfort, design and quality are optimally integrated. Lovely wooding ceilings, beautiful stone tiles, a large comfortable bed, fluffy towels and stunning views. The most delicious breakfast with fresh fruits, bread, juice, coffee served on the terrace. This place is a gem and we look forward to return.

Nothing. Well, maybe Igor's milk-foaming skills ;-) but I am sure next time we come he will deliver us some nice ' latte-art' :)) But frankly, there is nothing we could point out that could have been better. We just wished we could have stayed longer.

Pascale et Igor ont rénové cette bâtisse avec beaucoup de goût. Tout y est soigné. Le lieu et le cadre sont magnifiques. Les petits déjeuners sont succulents, avec exclusivement des produits frais. L accueil est chaleureux et convivial. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour!

Everything - a beautiful house in an amazing location. Extremely comfortable rooms with very well appointed bathrooms. Igor and Pascale were amazing hosts who provided delicious breakfasts and very helpful information on things to do nearby. We have visited the Algarve many times and this is by far the best place we have stayed in - we will return.

Les propriétaires, Pascale et Igor, nous ont accueillis chaleureusement. Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous, voire mieux car la maison est magnifique. Nous avons aimé la décoration, chaque détail est fait pour se sentir bien et à l'aise. Pascale nous a préparé un dîner exquis et le petit déjeuner était excellent. Nous recommandons cet endroit avant tout parce qu'il est fait avec amour, avec beaucoup de goût et avec un grand sens de l'hospitalité.

Wir wurden von den Besitzern unglaublich herzlich empfangen. Das gesamte Anwesen ist wunderschön und hat unsere Erwartungen bei weitem übertroffen. Das Essen war herausragend und man konnte überall die Liebe zum Detail spüren. Alles war sehr sauber und wir haben die Zeit dort in vollen Zügen genossen. Die Gastfreundschaft war einfach unbeschreiblich gut. Dankeschön!

Fantastic stay at this beautiful venue. The owners were incredibly kind, the furnishings were chic, and the breakfasts amazing. I would wholeheartedly recommend Solar.

Zeer hartelijk en gastvrije ontvangst door Igor en Pascale. We zijn elke morgen enorm in de watten gelegd met het meest lekkere ontbijt dat je je kunt indenken! Alles wordt ‘s morgens vers en met veel zorg bereid. Verder zijn de kamers zeer smaakvol ingericht en brandschoon. Buiten is het goed vertoeven in de heerlijke tuin aan het zwembad. Kortom, deze b&b is een pareltje!

Hoe hard ik ook nadenk, helemaal niks op aan te merken!

Absolut ruhige Lage in einem historischen sehr aufwendig renoviertem Gebäude. Das Frühstück ist mit außergewöhnlichen und frischen regionalen Produkten liebevoll angerichtet. Die Gastgeber Pascale und Igor sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und wie Freunde zu ihren Gästen. Auch ein Imbiss im Garten für den Abend wird angeboten. Insgesamt war dies unsere schönste und persönlichste Unterkunft die wir in Portugal von vielen wirklich guten Hotels hatten. Auto empfehlenswert! Wir haben uns wie bei Freunden sehr wohl gefühlt, vielen Dank!

Hier gibt es wirklich nichts zu beanstanden!

Breakfast was copious, creative, nutritious and delicious. The personal attention we received from Pascale and Igor, a lovely couple who have imagined and brought into being a top-quality, worth-the-trip destination. The grounds, though in part a work in progress, were lovely, the pool refreshing, the sleeping quarters (ours with a terrace) (including the bedding) perfect for repose and refreshment of body and soul.

As they say in French (the native language of the owners): "Tout était parfait."

Soggiorno e struttura incantevoli ! Siamo stati accolti in una maniera davvero speciale e non vediamo l’ora di tornare. Pascale e Igor ci hanno fatto sentire più che a casa: tutto é arredato con gusto, eleganza e naturalezza… veramente STUPENDO !

Première fois au Solar et nous avons réellement apprécié notre séjour. Tout d'abord, les hôtes Pascale et Igor sont très accueillants et absolument dévoués pour rendre le séjour le plus agréable possible. Nous avons été accueilli directement et Pascale et Igor ont eu la gentillesse de nous préparer de belles salades fraiches pour notre arrivée, le tout sur une jolie petite table dressée sur notre terrasse privée. Les lieux sont sobres, raffinées, décorés avec beaucoup de soin et de goût. Les petits déjeuners sont délicieux : tout est préparé sur place , avec des légumes, et des fruits frais. J'ai apprécié pouvoir prendre des petits-déjeuners salés car je mange peu de sucres le matin. Quand j'ai fait la demande, Pascale et Igor se sont tout de suite adaptés sans aucun problèmes. Concernant les chambres, elles sont fraiches, spacieuses, avec tout ce qu'il faut pour ranger les vêtements, les produits de beauté etc... Notre chambre disposait d'une terasse spacieuse avec des fauteuils pour admirer la vue et les étoiles le soir. Le top ! Le jardin et la piscine sont également très agréable. Il y a peu de chambres donc peu de monde autour de la piscine, ce qui rend le moment très calme et propice au repos et à la lecture. A noter qu'il y a une belle bibliothèque si vous avez envie de rattraper la lecture de classiques de littérature française ou étrangère. N'hésitez pas non plus à demander les bonnes petites adresses de restaurant du secteur : il y a de bonnes recommandations faites par Pascale et igor.

Un petit plus d'ombre sur le parking, mais des arbres sont plantés donc il faut leur laisser le temps de grandir.

Pascale and Igor make delicious, substantial and healthy breakfasts using local ingredients, including some grown on the estate. Breads, pastries, freshly squeezed juice, eggs, fruity salads with excellent flavour combinations. A great way to start the day!
