Everything!!
I would Highly recommend Sligo Bay Lodge. From min we walked in we were sold . The rooms are just beautiful. So spacious exceptionally clean & all the lil Quirky details just fab 👌. Will def be back & for longer next time .
Everything! Beautiful, spotlessly clean, comfortable, the coffee machine, views, the shared balcony and sitting room, the thoughtfulness of the hosts, the Driftwood restaurant right next door with its lovely staff.
There was nothing not to like!
Topverblijf !
Niets.
Loved the coffe/tea bar, the tourist guide suggestion book, and the beautiful upstairs room with windows in the Seagull room.
Location magnifica.
beautiful location, comfortable room, everything we needed, with beaches and good restaurants close
Stairs were a bit challenging for older family member
Location
The shower is so tiny
Tutto!
Nulla
Lovely old property overlooking the sea. House has a nautical theme with lots of books for reference/ reading. Spotlessly clean & very well maintained.
Great location, beautifully decorated rooms.
It's expensive for a room only offering.
Sehr schöne Lage.
It was a bit odd, I thought it was a hotel, but it was like an AirB&B, never met anyone or was not greeted by staff.
Location
There was no tea bags. Very disappointed.
Great location near bars and restaurants Also nice area for walks to beach and golf course Will be back and can highly recommend Easy check in and out
All good
The location was amazing & the room was spacious, clean & very comfortable.
No fridge in my room
Location
Bathroom quite dated
Clean and comfortable space with a beautiful view. Good communication from hosts with an easy check in/ check out process. Would highly recommend.
Excellent location
Nothing
Great location. Beautiful views lovely restaurant next door. Good communication re arrival and departure
On approach the building looks tired. The cabin room is comfortable felt more like a hostel, the room & sitting area is disjointed 2 bathrooms and furniture at one end.
Very clean. Lovely hot shower. Very well laid out. Excellent instructions and information sheets on nearby amenities.Very welcoming
Nothing
location
didn’t know it was a VRBO type
Beautiful view from our room. Convenient location.
Quirky, clean, comfortable. Good coffee.
No breakfast. A little decrepit, parking ok but shouldn’t really be parking on yellows and obscuring ‘slow’ sign.
Beautiful bright room.
Great view! The staff left a lot of great information about restaurants and great details for what we needed to know!
None
It was super easy to check in and the rooms were very comfortable. We both slept really well.
Quirky Location
Stairs to bedroom
Archie was a brilliant host
N/A
A smart apartment with good facilities. We liked the joint sitting room and library in the property. Views of the bay were good.
Nothing we would like to have stayed longer
The location and due to us only staying for one night and arriving in the pouring rain, its proximity to the excellent Driftwood restaurant!
There were quite a few steps which made for quite an effort for my sister but that was not the fault of the property but our lack of foresight when booking.
Location
Bedroom space could be better laid out. Bathrooms with shower x2 in double room necessary? Photos not representative of what we got, thought it was twin beds we got a double.
Excellent accommodation. Very clean. Beautiful view. Friendly, welcoming hosts. Comfortable bed. Comfortable room with a large ensuite. Close to pubs and restaurant. Short walk to the beach.
Beautiful views from our Beach and Lighthouse rooms. Convenient to good restaurants. (The Driftwood restaurant next door was terrific. A friendly and tasty cafe was nearby if you want breakfast or lunch.). Coffee, tea, water bottles, shortbread and porridge in room. Nice sitting area downstairs. Archie the host was very responsive.
The view from was good. The was bed was comfortable. Very quiet
Th parking. It was roadside although there was a space we had to park a little way away to start with.
Second time staying in Sligo Bay Lodge. It is a hidden gem! The rooms are beautifully cleaned and decorated, with copious amounts of space and stunning views. Communication from Archie is super clear and helpful, we hope to be back again next year!
I was in the Lighthouse room which was lovingly decorated with cool sailing & lighthouse themed lamps & other decor which added to the overall atmosphere. The room was well equipped with everything you might need, including little porridge packets which was much appreciated after my rainy coastal walk! The bed was super comfy and the large bath tub was the icing on the cake. Maggie was really helpful, kind & accommodating and she helped make my stay even better!
No breakfast, location very good
Bad value for money, too expensive. Bed frame positively dangerous in a small room
Wonderful location overlooking the Bay. And as well as the view from our bedroom there was also balcony for guests with glasses next to a small fridge to purchase Proseco from, to enjoy whilst admiring the view, which was stunning. There was also a separate living room available for guests. The restaurant next door was excellent. And a small supermarket nearby
There was no fridge in the room, (I don't like long life milk) Excellent coffee maker though so I had black coffee.
Lovely view, good location
Central location in Rosses Point with a lovely sea view. The Prosecco fridge was a lovely touch too!
Nothing
The views, location super, host responsive and contactable. Hidden gem close to local restaurants and beach
Nil
A self contained unit with breakfast supplied overlooking the beautiful bay and great views.
Nothing really.
It quiet and a nice little place. The cabin I stayed in had two bathrooms, which was odd. But whatever
The time of year, not so busy and two pubs right close were both closed. Had to drive back to Sligo to eat
Room and view perfect
Parking not great,
our room was very clean & comfortable Archie our host was very nice & helpful location was excellent with lovely sea views we would definitely stay again
Great location overlooking the sea and Oyster Island. A short walk to great pubs and the famous Austie's restaurant/pub. Bright and fresh accommodation with old photos and many nautical touches.
Surf vibes! Gorgeous surroundings, windy as hell. The lodge was a comfortable stay, albeit a bit pricy. Communication was good with Archie. He had prepared a booklet that meticulously describes the area and services. Very helpful.
Brilliant host. Gorgeous place! We will definitely be back and will recommend this little gem. Thank you
The location is excellent with beautiful tranquil views of the island and water from my room which was at the front of the building. Decor was suited to the area. Our host was very attentive. We enjoyed the little balcony sipping Prosecco in the evening after dinner. We would definitely stay here again.
Only a small thing but I would have liked a full length mirror in my room.
The property was very clean and warm. This was one of the first things I noted when we entered the property. We booked a sea view room and it was absolutely gorgeous. The view was spectacular and the room had lots of space and a huge bath tub with views of the sea.
The lodge was in a perfect location across the road from the water, with great views from the room. The room was spacious and very clean with everything we needed for an overnight stay, It was very quiet at night and parking was available right outside. It was walking distance to pubs and restaurants. Porridge was provided for breakfast which was a nice touch.
Our room had a bath in the middle of the room - not in the bathroom. Some people may have thought this was great, but to me it just took up a lot of space and was useless. Without the bath there was enough room for a kitchenette and the room could have been advertised as a studio apartment.
Fabulous location. Spotless room . The owner Archie was very friendly and accommodating. He recommend the Driftwood restaurant next door to his B & B and food was excellent. 10 out of 10 for our stay with Sligo Bay Lodge. We will definitely return.
No complaints whatsoever Photos are of nearby places I took during our Stay.
Alles da was man braucht!
Everything was very good. but especially the easy communication with the staff (in this case a daughter and father) was just so great. They paid attention and they showed a love for their lodge and the surrounding area that was contagious and memorable.
Hmmm . . . Uh . . . (shrug shoulders). Nothing comes to mind.
Great Location, lovely clean comfortable well equipped place to stay with caring attentive proprieters ready to help with directions and recommendations for places to eat, see, visit,
What was there to dislike?, nothing!
Wonderful location. Lovely room overlooking the water and there were many extra special things that made our stay comfortable and special. Very nice common space for all guests to use, including a balcony overlooking the boardwalk and sea. Great restaurants just steps away.
Lovely view, easy to find, comfortable bed, and the best lounge for relaxing and hanging out.
Das Zimmer über 2 Etagen war toll. Auch die Lage war super.
No breakfast included.Location was v good, close to beach and restaurants.
Unfortunately the weather wasn’t good but beautiful views of Sligo bay on a nice sunny day 😊
Lovely big room. Nice view over the sea.
Only one comfy seat in the room
Comfortable room with lovely views
