Hotel, pokoj, personál, vynikající jídlo - snídaně i večeře. Na super místě. Myčka na kola, dostupný vnitřní bazén s župany, dětský koutek. Celkově skvělý pobyt s dětmi!

Nabíjecí stanice na elektromobil je u hotelu, ale není zdarma.

Fantastisch team van mensen, allemaal even hartelijk. Fijn hotel, midden in het dorp, grote kamers, alle faciliteiten, parkeren direct achter hotel, heerlijk ontbijt!

Sehr freundliches Personal, familiäre Atmosphäre Sehr leckeres Essen (Halbpension)

Wir waren von Freitag bis Sonntag mit unserer Tochter im Hotel Alte Post in Großarl und hatten zwei Zimmer. Von Anfang bis Ende war alles perfekt. Das gesamte Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam - man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und bestens aufgehoben. Besonders begeistert waren wir vom Frühstücksbuffet und vom Abendessen. Beides war einfach ein Traum und hat keine Wünsche offengelassen. Wir haben uns als Familie rundum wohlgefühlt und die Zeit sehr genossen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können das Hotel absolut weiterempfehlen.

Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Lage ist zentral, aber leider etwas laut.

Ne znam kome se ovaj hotel ne bi svidio i kako pronaći zamjerku. Hotel sa dušom, star, povijest izvire iz svakog zida, a opet nov i savršeno održavan. Došli smo s djetetom jer je ovo jedan od rijetkih hotela koji ima opciju velike smještajne jedinice, a da nije predsjednički apartman po ogromnoj cijeni. Uživali smo u svemu, bazen, infracrvena sauna, igraonica je veća nego na slikama, dvorište preslatko, pogled s balkona nevjerojatan za lijepa jutra uz kavu. Padala je kiša i to nam nije uništilo odmor nego ga poboljšalo jer smo stigli uživati u samom hotelu, tome da nema gužve, kids friendly, ali ne obiteljski što smo i tražili. Za djecu besplatan sladoled i interaktivni ekran u igraonici koji je bio pravi hit. Za odrasle dobar izbor hrane i mogućnosti da uhvate trenutke za opuštanje ako su s djecom. Svidio nam se stol za doručak koji je bio samo za nas kao i izbor jela za doručak. Popodnevna kava i kolač uz kamin. Žao nam je samo što nismo mogli otići s vlasnikom na nikakvu turu. Imate osjećaj kao da ste kod kuće. Žičare su jako blizu. Sve pohvale obitelji koja ovo mjesto čini svojim i našim. Ne znam kad smo se zadnje tako dobro naspavali.

Besonders hervorzuheben ist das ausgesprochen freundliche und aufmerksame Personal. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Auch die Ausstattung des Hotels hat uns sehr gut gefallen – alles ist gepflegt, komfortabel und bietet alles, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt. Besonders überzeugt hat uns das hervorragende Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Insgesamt bekommt man hier für sein Geld wirklich sehr viel geboten.

Zentrale Lage

Nádherný hotel, bydleli jsme v budově Toni. Jsme rodina se třemi dětmi. Vše bylo perfektní. Vše dokonale čisté a uklizené, pokoje krásné, vana a sprchový kout, celkem tři umyvadla. Personál skvělý na recepci i u snídaně. Snídaně byla výborná!!!! Hotel je prostě dokonalý, určitě se chceme vrátit. Moc děkujeme.

De kamer was schoon, de bedden waren prima. Het hele hotel zag er gezellig en schoon uit.

Wir haben uns schon sehr wohl gefühlt...bis auf ein paar kleine Abstriche, siehe unten, die Lage ist toll, Sauberkeit, Angebote, Frühstück, Abendessen, Personal, alles sehr gut, sehr freundliches und um die Gäste bemühtes Chefurgestein, nur weiter so, wir können uns gut vorstellen, wieder zu euch zu kommen, danke für alles!!

Nuja, für mich die Matratzen zu weich und zu nieder, setzt man sich auf`s Bett, versinkt man bis zum Holzrand, hart und unangenehm, wenn kein Widerstand bemerkbar ist, es gibt 7-Zonenkaltschaummatratzen in Härte H2 bis H4, Seiten wechselbar mit guter Zirkulation und Höhe ideal zwischen 23 und 25 cm, 2x2 Stück gekauft um je € 200.- gerundet, seitdem wir diese Matratzen haben, gibt´s keine Kreuzschmerzen mehr, aber gut; + der Rasierspiegel im Bad lässt sich nicht kippen und eher in Höhe für Zwergerl mit Bart montiert, dafür, + dass die Kirche um 06:00 Uhr alle aufweckt, könnt ihr ja nichts, is aber sehr laut und aufdringlich, könnte man vielleicht der Pfarrgemeinde mal sagen......

Sehr freundliches und bemühtes Personal. Große und geräumige Suite. Auch der inkludierte Parkplatz hinter dem Gebäude ist sehr geräumig und nicht eng. Der Wellnessbereich ist klein aber fein, mehr braucht man aber erstmal eigentlich nicht. Alles in allem hat es uns gut gefallen! 👍

Die Küche in der Suite war sehr komisch ausgestattet. Ein Haufen Kaffeetassen und Unterteller, dafür so gut wie keine normalen Gläser und keine Töpfe. Außerdem auch kein Geschirrhandtuch, so das man wenigstens das Wenige, was man benutzt, abtrocknen könnte.

Die Sauberkeit, nette Personal, freundliche Chef

Great location in the centre of town, with convenient amenities especially the Swiss pine sauna and breakfast restaurant. We enjoyed the hospitality of the apples provided (even though one was rotten) and the fragrance as we entered the room. The staff were very courteous and helpful to allow us even with an ice pack as part of first aid.

The kids loved the pool, we all loved the Kegalbahn, the restaurant was great - great food and great service, super friendly staff, breakfast had everything. Sauna was well done. Kids felt very comfortable. Fully enjoyed our stay!

Warmth and friendliness of staff and guests. The food was very good, no meal disappointed. Loved the bar area, centred around the circular fire. Excellent proximity to ski bus and right in the centre of town. We had an excellent spacious room, which was very comfortable.

Wunderbarer Urlaub mit unserer Enkelin. Schwimmbad und Spielzimmer sind der Hit. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Auch die Küche begeistert. Vielen lieben Dank!

Familiäre Atmosphäre, geführte Wanderungen, leckeres Frühstück mit Möglichkeit Eierspeisen zu bestellen, tolle Sauna, bei Halbpension 3 Gänge Menü und Salatbüffet, für Kinder oder Vegetarier flexible Menüanpassung, gute Parkmöglichkeiten.

Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet, Personal dort sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Toller Hotel-Pool! Haustiere sind willkommen 🤗 SEHR GUTES Essen im Restaurant (die Kaspressknödelsuppe - ein Traum!) und sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Habe mit Begeisterung die Familienchronik gelesen (gebundenes Heft mit vielen alten Fotos, sehr liebevoll gemacht)! Habe dann erst gemerkt, dass mir der Chef in 4. Generation das Essen serviert hatte (mit einem schwungvollen "los das schmeckn!" 😃👍)

Ontzettend fijn hotel. Super vriendelijk personeel. We voelden ons meteen welkom. Er hingen zelfs voor de kids 2 kleine badjassen klaar. Hoe leuk is dat! Heerlijk avondeten en ontbijt. Super mooie en schone speelkamer voor de kids. Overal was net dat beetje extra aandacht aan besteed.

Only half board bookers have access to the restaurant in these evening. The noise in the street starts early in morning as a there is a lot of stop and shop In the vicin⁰ity. That's a pity.

Our room was big and clean always. The food was exceptionally delicious and the employees are the nicest and friendliest we have ever experienced! We have been to many hotels in Austria and around the world, but these have been so far the best. We felt at home, our needs were met. They would even warm food for our toddler and would make suggestions for his food incase the kids menu was not what he could eat. They always found solutions to accommodate him too. This is a hotel that we will definitely visit again. Thats has never been the case. My toddler fell in love with Julia. She was amazing.. We didn't feel uneasy with the kids if they were hyper, the employees would indulge them and this would distract the kids. They didn't react irritated, they were welcoming. For the first time I found a cook who knows how to make Lamb meat. Yummy and delicious food. We were greeted and welcomed at the reception like VIPs. The beds were comfortable, the play room was really nice and we loved the table they selected for us during our stay. Amazing hotel, amazing team, everything was amazing. We loved it and wished we had booked longer. There are shops and cafés also in the area so incase one wants to shop or chill somewhere else, it's available. Best place for families. Weiter so...

Everything was perfect. The only thing I'd have wished for is for a roof/ cover at the terrace especially when it's raining. And a water cooker in the room would have also been great, especially when travelling with toddlers. But still everything was perfect.

Das Frühstück bietet wirklich alles, was man sich als Sportler oder Genießer wünscht. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen zuvorkommend, und obwohl es unser erster Aufenthalt war, haben wir uns sofort sehr wohlgefühlt. Die warme Atmosphäre trägt dazu bei, dass man sich schnell wie zu Hause fühlt. Besonders für Kinder ist das Hotel ideal. Auch die Menüs sind abwechslungsreich und hervorragend, es gibt sogar immer ein extra kleines Kinderbuffet – einfach ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt! Die Bibliothek mit Kinderbüchern ist eine ganz tolle Idee!

Die Wassertemperatur im Hallenbad war für kleine Kinder etwas kühl. Eine Kindertoilette oder zumindest ein passender Sitz bei den großen WCs wäre hilfreich. Außerdem könnte der Fitnessraum etwas attraktiver gestaltet werden.

Alles wunderbar, Frühstück, Zimmer, Personal, Parkplatz, Trekking Touren wurden angeboten. War ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt!!

Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und nett.

Tolle Lage, leckeres Essen! Eine tolle Familie, sehr nettes Personal!

Każdy gość miał przypisany stolik, ktory na niego czekał. Bardzo miła obsługa. Wiemy że są organizowane trekkingi z właścicielem ale niestety nie starczyło nam czasu. Piękna okolica, pozwala na odpoczynek a jednocześnie nie można się nudzić.

Nic, wszystko było ok. Nie doczytaliśmy ze check in do 21:00 ale to nasza wina ze przyjechaliśmy po 24:00 i nie uprzedziliśmy. Mimo to zostaliśmy życzliwie przyjeci.

I chose this location for the multitude of kids friendly activities available for our 2 and a half years old. I couldn’t have chosen better. The area is amazing, there are a lot of family suitable hikes to montain huts with playgrounds and petting zoos. The village itself has an amazing free of charge playground with miniature huts and even a pond. The hotel itself was perfect for families with an amazing playground and an indoor pool. Also, the room was very spacious either a large bed that fitted the 3 of us. Food at the restaurant was delicious and we could try many local foods. It’s true that not all of the staff speak English, but some of them do. Also all of them were extremely helpful and kind.

This applies to hotels policies for toddlers in general. All of them provide a cot, but a stepping stool for the kid to reach the sink would be much more helpful.

A very cozy hotel, beautiful interiors that emphasize the family continuity of management of this hotel. Great reception staff - the only ones who speak and understand languages ​​other than German. Large rooms, comfortable mattresses (which I can't say about the pillows). Excellent breakfasts, where in addition to the buffet, you can order a hot dish. If you go to the mountains - the hotel gives you the opportunity to use hiking poles - priceless! Special thanks for this! There is also the possibility of a free group excursion, but if you do not speak German and do not want to wait for the group for 3 hours in the cafe at the top - I do not recommend it. There is a car parking.

When check-in, you are offered to download a translator application. At first, this caused some confusion, but then it became clear that there is NO duplication of information in any language. Everything is written only in the local (German) language. Starting from the rules for using the spa, information in the room and ending with the menu for breakfast and lunch. This is extremely inconvenient. You will have difficulty ordering drinks for dinner or a hot meal for breakfast. You may not even know that you can order a hot meal for breakfast, because the information about it is somewhere near the entrance to the kitchen and is written only in German. Since you will be reading the menu through the phone screen using a translator program, it is easy to make a mistake with the choice of a dish. Not all of them are tasty and some have very peculiar combinations. There is no refrigerator in the room, no possibility to make tea or coffee.

Tony & Maria (senior) / Tony & Maria (junior) and their teams at Hotel Alte Post & all the staff who looked after us were amazing. The service was always personal and friendly, this is a huge bonus for the hotel and we'd go back there for that reason. We had half board. The breakfast was delicious & always fresh, new options everyday. We loved the dinners & the presentation of the food was first class and always tasty. The hotel have a great service using #WeShowYouTheMountains, if you sign up to their daily hikes you'll be driven to the start of the hike, and includes a guide from the hotel. The hikes offered opportunities to meet guests which worked well for us. The Spa is very impressive and a great place to relax after a day of hiking. Paul & Hans
