Reviewed May 20, 2026Die Cottages liegen direkt am Strand mit einem sensationellen Meerblick auf der Terasse. Lediglich zwei der ca. 10 Hütten haben keinen direkten Meerblick. Der Strand war sehr sauber. Die Bucht mit dem Strand, den Palmen, den Felsen und dem Reisfeld sind ein Traum und auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert. Der richtige Ort um zu entspannen und es sich einige Tage gut gehen zu lassen. 500m vom Strand weg an dem winzigen Ort an der Durchgangsstraße fahren pro Tag einige öffentliche Busse in beide Richtungen.
Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie organisieren einen Roller oder ein Taxi. Das Essen ist gut und wird auf der kleinen Terrasse serviert direkt an den Hütten. Ein Traum. Die Speisekarte bietet genügend Auswahl. Die Sauberkeit ist gut, die Bäder sind sauber und geräumig. Seife und Shampoo selbst mitbringen!
1) In der Bucht gibt es keinen Handyempfang. Wir hatten einige kurze Stromausfälle (maximal 20min) und dann kein W-lan. 2) Wir hatten zwei Hütten gebucht, davon eine mit Meerblick und die zweite ohne. Für einen Aufpreis wurde mir dann ein Upgrade angeboten, welches ich auch angenommen hatte. Das war aber dann bei der Ankunft den Mitarbeitern nicht bekannt und musste dann erst telefonisch geklärt werden. 3) Der Weg von der Überlandstraße bis zur Bucht ist holprig und sandig, war aber für das Taxi trotzdem befahrbar. 4) In der Umgebung gibt es kaum Restaurants oder Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Man muss dann im Resort essen, was aber kein Problem ist. 5) Klimaanlage gibt es nicht, war im Februar auch kein Problem. Die Ventilatoren haben funktioniert.
Alles kein wirkliches Problem, aber ich will das der Vollständigkeit halber erwähnen.

Reviewed May 6, 2026We loved our stay here. It is tranquile, facilities and food are great. Staff are just wonderful and very welcoming.
The description of the property is acurate and since we wanted a quiet refuge we were extremly happy with what we found. Our expectations to be able to rest and recharge were surpassed.

Food is also good
Area is a no network zone and there are no signboard specifying the route for particular resort. Once we reach the end of motorable road, we were unable to call someone to ask which one was their resort or to get help with the luggage. I had to go down and ask in three cottages before i could find the place with my booking
The place is quite isolated, so watch out if you are not fond of isolated places.
The staff is okayish....you wont find anything nearby except their kitchen food and drinks, and they are not going to help you much in case you need anything from outside.

I would have liked to have a mosquito net to feel safe, but there were only very few mosquitos, so it was ok. Everything else was perfect for us!

Reviewed Mar 30, 2026It’s exceptional view from the cottage and so close to the beach and is very private and peaceful. It’s clean, comfortable and safe.
About 1km road from the cottage to horrible. Not sure if anything can be done by the property owner about that as it’s a public road. The steps to get down to reach the property needs some improvement for safety of the customers. They are a bit risky for people who have to carry the luggage down the stairs or up the stairs.

Reviewed Mar 30, 2026Unique, remote location, with the cottage pretty much on the beach. The beach itself was dreamy and extremely quiet at this time of the season. The food was great too and brought directly to us on our balcony. Perfect for a couple of nights, especially if you don't have a car or bike.
The direction to the place could be clearer as it creates a bit of stress when arriving as it is quite remote from the main road. There is also quite a bit of disturbance during the night with rodents roaming around the cottage and harmless but sometimes barking dogs outside. You need to be okay with this.

The resort is beautiful, so peaceful
The beach cottages are so comfortable and clean and the food is so delicious and excellent value for money
But what makes this resort so special is the staff that work there, always there if you need something and nothing is ever too much trouble.
The staff make the stay a special one
We had a fantastic three nights and were very sorry to leave but will definitely be back next year

Reviewed Mar 15, 2026Красивое тихое место. Море, солнце, ветерок, все что нужно) огромная ванная комната с хорошим полом, место слива оформлено галькой. Несколько зеркал. Много столов и кресел. На балконе удобный дтван с креслами и столом.
Единственное, для купания нужно выбирать место, я нашла только одну линию без камней. Можно качаться на воде и смотреть в небо.
Да, кругом кокосовые пальмы, они плодоносят, при мне слетело 3 кокоса)
Вид отличный, балкон прямо на море с закатом, персонал очень доброжелательный и внимательный! Помогли заказать такси, еду приносят в номер.
А еще добрые собаки, охраняют по ночам и не надоедают)
Еду в номере на ночь только не оставляйте, могут появиться желающие полакомиться;)
На закате ненадолго прилетают комары. Возьмите с собой что-нибудь от них.

Reviewed Mar 12, 2026We stayed at Sea Front Cottages for night and wanted to stay longer, but they were fully booked. If you want peace and quiet, this is a great place. It’s beautiful and right on the beach. The palm trees give nice shade. Raj, the manager, was very friendly and helpful.

The only thing that might need fixing is the hot water that didn’t seem to work consistently despite following the instructions.

Reviewed Feb 10, 2026If youre looking for a super quiet and private beach experience, than this is the best stay. The surrounding and the beach is the highlight of this place, the cottage itself, not so much. It is a rocky beach, so bring swimshoes to avoid getting hit by rocks when swimming. But since me and my mom were looking for a zen peaceful couple of days to be in nature and the sea, this did hit the spot! The staff there are super chill and helpful as well.

The sliding door to the balcony was broken and a work to open and close, which was annoying.
No hot water at all
There are no other activities around the area, if you tend to get bored easily, this is not the place for you.

Reviewed Feb 10, 2026Small Kola is one of a kind hidden spots in South Goa. I dont come here for comfort or conveniences as there is not much, but the location is absolutely worthed!
Room cleaning and service can improve
Location was simply out of this world, so the cost was totally justified. The setup is too cute, which clearly requires better maintenance to sustain

Reviewed Jan 30, 2026The location is very secluded, private and beautiful. It is far from the crowded public and touristy beaches. The food quality in general was also good.
The service has to improve a lot. The staff at times were rude and at other times were just plain lazy. Maybe something you would expect in North Goa but not here. Also the rooms were not sound isolated at all, so it was like sleep on the beach all night. With the waves being very loud due to the rocky beach upfront, it was a challenge to fall asleep at night.

Reviewed Jan 6, 2026Probably the most beautiful beach in Goa so it was a privilege to stay right on it. The cottage is spacious with a huge bathroom. The best part is the balcony with an amazing sunset view if you manage to catch a clear sky. This was a perfect break from people and the busyness we've experienced before. The meals were delicious and fairly priced after all you get to eat on your own porch.
The shower head could have been better as there was one stream of water coming out only so we couldn't use it. However it's a minor thing and we wish we could've stayed longer.

Le service est inexistant, pas de bouteille offerte, pas d’activités proposés, ni de conseil (j’ai découvert par hasard la dernière heure du séjour un accès très pratique pour accéder à l’autre l’autre plage khola beach avec multitudes de restaurants, j’aurais aimé avoir ce type de conseils par exemple… mais rien). On m’a proposé de louer un scooter pour 2000 roupies ce qui est quatre fois le prix normal (Ok c’était haute saison mais quatre fois le prix…).

Unfortunately there was a power cut and a diesel generator set had to run non-stop. The owner transferred me to another site, the blue lagoon, one bay further down the coast which was excellent as well. The staff was very helpful and flexible.

The food served was amazing - we tried so many items from the menu, and nothing ever disappointed. The portions are very generous as well!
The rooms were basic, but thays what we were looking for, the terrace and the sea view were great, and we enjoyed having the beach right in front of us.
The location is exactly what we were looking for - off the beaten path, on a small beach with very few other people around.
The sea was safe to swim, despite the multitude of rocks around.
There were super friendly dogs always hanging out with us.
The village of Kola is about 20min by walk and there are some additional small shops available (though we loved the menu of cottages too much to be buying much else :)).
Overall, a fantastic few days, surrounded by friendly people and amazing nature in a comfy cottages right on the sands. Highly recommended ✨️
Not as much 'didn't like' as 'found a surprise' - Dogs were always eager to enter terrace/cottage, so if you dont want the 4-legged buddies to come and join you, you'd need to block somehow the terrace fence/door. They are totally harmless; it was just a surprise to wake up and trip over a dog in the morning 😅

Reviewed Apr 6, 2025Asmit and the team are exceptionally friendly and helpful. From serving food and drinks to your terrace, organising mopeds and sorting a fishing trip. They even organised for the fish we caught to be cooked in the kitchen. Never had such good service before.
Whole place is like something out of the Maldives. Off the beaten track. Idyllic white sandy beach with no one around. Ice cold beer and delicious food. Even some cute dogs to keep you company. All in all couldn’t recommend more. So much better than the resorts of Agonda and Palolem.
It’s off a rough track and hard to find but that’s the fun of it! If it was easy to get to it would be much busier. Embrace the adventure it’s worth it.

Just the mattress was very very soft and uncomfortable, other than that the place is excellent!

The huts overlook the sea and you can go to sleep with the sound of the Arabian ocean .
It’s just perfect ….
And the dogs ? Are friendly and very loving … don’t let the reviews put you off saying they’re aggressive .., they most certainly are not. ( they do bark a bit at night though )
The road is rough but we got straight to the top of the steps …

Nothing … need to plan for a rough track to properly . We came by scooter and I walked down the hill. Steps down to property fine. Swimming with care and you can walk over to Cola beach in about 15 mins through forest.

The staff prepared all the meals. All the food we ate was great and good value for money. The manager made sure we had everything we needed at all times.
There are a lot of stray dogs in the beach, which may get annoying at times.

It seemed uneccessarily hard to get directions before arriving. They refused to answer my messages on booking.com asking for instruction and said they would only tell me if I emailed. But didnt supply an email address until further probed. Then when I did email they didnt reply until a few hours before I was due to arrive which made the journey there uneccessarily complex as I didnt have network to access the message. There was also a pretty unhelpful and hostile woman on the phone when I rang to request collection from Cola panchayat. Totally at odds with how wonderful the other staff were when we finally got there.
Location is excellent, close proximity to beach
The road to the property is a bad. Last 5 mins stretch is hard to get through. Make sure to take a car with good ground clearance like a Baleno.

The road getting to the property was only accessible by 4 x 4 or intrepid taxi drivers. Cost us an extra 500 rupees to get a 4x4 from a car park 500 mtrs from the property Too many dogs, who were friendly but barked in the night and over friendly in the day. We would go back though.....

Reviewed Feb 6, 2025Our stay exceeded all expectations! The place was absolutely gorgeous, offering exactly what my partner and I were looking for- peace, seclusion, and breathtaking sea views. If you’re seeking a calm, healing, and rejuvenating escape, this is the perfect destination.
The food was delicious! While it may seem pricey at first, the generous portions meant we ended up ordering less, making it comparable to other places. Everything was freshly cooked and delivered straight to our room, which was a lovely touch.
The accommodation itself was exceptionally clean and modern, with nature beautifully integrated into the design. A standout feature was our bathroom, which was built around a palm tree right in the center- such a unique and special touch!
The service was outstanding- friendly, attentive, and nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff.
One thing to note is the access to the property. Regular cars won’t be able to drive all the way up, but the hotel provides a complimentary 4x4 pickup from the drop-off point, just a 7-minute drive away. It’s best to message them in advance with your arrival time to avoid waiting.
Overall, this place is truly incredible, and I can’t wait to return!
The restaurant next door (a separate business) screened a movie on a big outdoor screen right next to our balcony, which unfortunately disrupted one of our evenings. Despite multiple requests, they refused to lower the volume, which was extremely loud. The movie went on for a couple of hours, making it difficult to relax.
