Zen MOON Hostel is an absolute steal! I loved my stay here. I stayed for 4 nights. The room is clean, I especially loved the outdoor bathroom. The owners are lovely and happy to help out with anything you need. There is a kitchen on the top floor, I would cook quick eggs before going to the gym, it is enough to make a quick meal if you want to. They also have wash machine so you can wash your clothes. You get hot water every morning outside of your room to make a coffee/tea and biscuits. It is on a quiet street in a lovely neighborhood. You can walk to get a coffee or a meal, plenty places to choose from. They also have a pond with some fish and a turtle. She is very curious and cute. I have also rented scooter from them. Los anfitriones son magníficos, muy atentos y pendientes de lo que necesitas. Nos indicaron como ir a la playa más cerca de la ciudad en transporte público Por las mañanas despertar y ver qué tienes café,galletitas y botellitas de agua es un gran detalle . Puedes lavar tu ropa con aporte voluntario. Las habitaciones son iguales a las fotos y todo muy limpio. Muy cerca de todo. Si van a Yogyakarta y quieren algo muy bueno y a precio razonable alojense aquí

La struttura è in una zona piena di ristorantini buoni e un supermercato, lo staff è gentile e sempre disponibile, ci hanno anche cambiato stanza perché abbiamo segnalato la presenza di un insetto che si era nascosto sotto al letto. Presente lavatrice e zona comune sul terrazzo

Zum Bahnhof sind es 4 km... wenn man Zeit hat, kann zu Fuß gehen. Andererseits befinden sich im näheren Umfeld gute Lokale.

Lit super confortable, salle de bain propre, clim, fontaine a eau fraîche.

Rue est vraiment rue pour touriste (restaurants étrangers, coffee shop et bar à gogo), pas d'ascenseur, pas d'ambiance (personne ne se parle)

Nos encantó la entrada, el baño y sobre todo una azotea arriba del todo con cocina compartida donde se estaba genial. Ofrecen viajes, allí puedes comprar cerveza y ottas bebidas, además te ponen café, té, galletas, agua mineral, toallas, cepillo de dientes, secador... todo genial y muy limpio.

Nos gustó todo, aunque no ofrecían desayuno como tal.

Stanza piccolina, ma pulita e anche bagno pulito. C’è una bella terrazza all’ultimo piano. Non c’è la colazione la ti portano biscottini e c’è il dispenser di acqua calda e fredda. Abbiamo fatto anche un escursione tramite loro. Ci siamo trovati bene

사장님 부부는 정말 친절 하였고, 끊임 없이 숙소 청결에 신경을 써주셨습니다. 일본인 분이 관리하기때문에 소문을 듣고 일본 분들이 꽤나 찾아오셨습니다. 저도 그 부분을 알고 왔지만 기대 이상으로 만족 하였습니다. 침구는 항상 깨끗하며 침대도 넓었고, 옥상의 야외 공간도 좋았습니다. 세탁기를 직접 사용 할 수 있는 점도 편리했습니다. 숙소 앞의 거리는 분위기 좋은 카페들과 식당이 이어져있습니다. 서점과 편의점도 바로 앞에 있습니다. 소음에서 조금 벗어난 곳으로서 평화로운 분위기에서 지낼 수 있었습니다. 한국 분들에게도 추천 드립니다.

Het ontvangst was heel vriendelijk. De kamer was proper. Het was fijn om hier tijd door te brengen. Ook de gemeenschappelijke ruimte boven op het dak was erg fijn. Ze vragen ook regelmatig of ze jouw kamer moeten komen poetsen. De ligging van het hostel is ook super fijn.

Wij zagen 2 keer een kakkerlak in onze slaapkamer. Het gevoel dat zij hier ‘s nachts rondlopen is niet fijn.

Die Unterkunft war sauber und gepflegt, das Personal stets freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Besonders positiv ist uns aufgefallen, wie gut alles für die Gäste durchdacht war. Es standen kostenlos Wasser, Kaffee, Tee und Kekse zur Verfügung, außerdem Dinge wie Regenschirme und Mückenspray, die den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht haben. Auch die Dachterrasse mit ihren gemütlichen Sitzgelegenheiten hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Our favorite guesthouse during the 16 days long trip in Indonesia. Quiet and tidy. Spacious bathroom with good pressure hot water. We enjoyed every moment in zen moon. Thank you so much!

Muy muy limpio ( habitación, baños, zonas comunes). El matrimonio que lo lleva son encantadores. Cama y habitación cómodas. Dos cuartos de baño en la habitación. Cocina en la terraza y varias zonas para descansar o ‘estar’. Cercano a la calle de bares y restaurantes. Quizá es poco para socializar, pero es un gran lugar para descansar

Struttura semplice ma perfetta per chi non ha bisogno di troppo lusso e di stare troppo in camera. Posizione comoda e vicina ad una zona con ristoranti e bar.

La poca presenza del personale; abbiamo visto una persona al nostro arrivo e poi più nessuno. Nonostante ciò, scrivendo tramite Booking la risposta è sempre stata rapida.

Everything, very clean and very kind owners! The rooftop has a nice view of the city and the kitchen is convenient to cook :) free coffee, tea and water are provided as well as a towel! I also got a scooter and it was really good price and condition :) definitely recommend to everyone coming to Yogya

Comfortable rooms, well lit and in quiet location

Very pleasant stay, our host went above and beyond bringing us snacks and water every day along with being very accommodating to our awkward check-in time. We greatly appreciate the facilities in house like laundry and kitchen all provided for us to use at will, lovely seating areas and a very cute pond with a very charming turtle. For the rooms themselves they are simple and small but nothing less that what you need, the on suit washroom was amazing with an outdoor concept that still feels very private. Over all I have nothing bad to say, i would love to stay here again

Everything about this property is great, Location was amazing you’re right on the Main Street with great food options, we recommend checking out chicken shack. You’re set back down a small alley that offers distance from the noise of the road plus a little privacy. Plus the hosts arrange all sorts of activities for you to book if you’d like, we did a round trip to two of the big temples in the area for a pretty decent price.

We absolutely loved this place! It is beautiful and the owners are the nicest people ever. They offer sweets, coffee, and tea every morning, which is such a lovely way to start the day. They were also incredibly helpful, assisting us with a card replacement delivery and organizing a motorbike rental for us. This is a place for everyone; there is a rooftop where you can socialize, but you can also easily find a quiet spot to just read a book. We felt so relaxed here. The amenities are great—including laundry services—and the surrounding area is lively, filled with restaurants and street food options. We can’t wait to visit again in the future!

Close to everything: restaurants, supermarkets and anything you need. Very clean and staff is very kind. Every morning I would find snacks and hot water in front of the room to make coffee or tea.

I would always wake up early in the morning because you could easily hear people walking upstairs and any movement.

Dorm is big, spacious, luminous and beds are comfortable. Two bathrooms in the room. Location is good. Good restaurants and nearby some main streets. Cute and quiet place.

Staff didn't help much with planning overall. Not the most social place if you are looking for that because it's mostly private rooms.

I would highly recommend Zen Moon Hostel. The hostel is very serene, with a beautiful, well-maintained koi pond. The owners are very kind and go out of their way to make sure guests are comfortable. When I arrived, we realized there had been a booking mix-up. somehow my reservation showed a shared room instead of private accommodation. However, the staff were quick to help me find another accommodation nearby. Since I was tired after walking to the hostel, they were very thoughtful they allowed me to rest a while at the hostel, provided refreshments and snacks at no extra cost (despite in the end providing a refund they did all that for free!). I would definitely book here again!

Mejor hostal relación calidad-precio en el que he estado. Es un hotel básico, pero por el precio que tiene cumple más que de sobra. La cama es cómoda, cuenta con terracita y baño privado. En el baño destacar que la ducha tiene mucha presión y agua caliente que funcionó toda nuestra estancia. Además dan agua mineral de cortesia que renuevan todos los días y algunas galletas todas las mañanas. Está muy bien situado en una zona con muchos restaurantes, bares, etc. Pero lejos de toda fiesta ya que se encuentra en una calle tranquila.

とても良い宿泊でした。文化活動の盛んな通りに面していて周辺を歩くだけで興味深く、美味しいレストランも近くにたくさんあります。いわゆる中心部から少し離れている事や、落ち着いた施設の雰囲気により、観光の間の休憩もリラックスして過ごす事が出来ます。

Amazing hostel for so cheap!! The place is so beautiful and relaxing. The dorm is very nice; AC, the beds are isolated and the showers are luxurious (with soaps provided). There's free water&tea/coffee, a kitchen well equiped, towels, lockers and even a washing machine available!! There's a rooftop where it's possible to do yoga. The owners are super friendly and always helping. It's well located (on the backpackers streeth) and it's quiet.

I stayed for 2 nights here, the room was comfortable, clean, everything works well. It provides toiletries and small breakfast snack. The location also very convenient, quiet, and it close to many tourism places. I met Bapak Daniel and his partner, they were super friendly and helpful! It felt so worth it staying here, I highly recommend it esp if you are travelling on a budget.

Room was basic and small but clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Shower is hot with good water pressure.

Bathroom is outdoors and as we experience thunderstorms during our stay it got very wet and there were a few drips, meaning everything was wet (including the toilet paper).

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft so wohlgefühlt, dass wir unseren Aufenthalt gleich zweimal verlängert haben. Besonders gefallen haben uns das Außenbad sowie die Möglichkeit, sowohl vor dem Zimmer im Erdgeschoss als auch auf der Dachterrasse zu entspannen. David, der Besitzer, ist sehr freundlich und gibt tolle Tipps für die Umgebung. Auch die ruhige Lage hat uns überzeugt, gleichzeitig gibt es zahlreiche Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe.

The Double Room was perfect. Comfy bed, clean, good Aircon. The Owners are very nice and offer tours. Its very quiet. Location is convinient. Many very good Restaurants and Bars nearby.

Could have stayed longer.

Der Mann vom Personal ist so super nett und hilfsbereit. Jeder Wunsch wurde uns von den Lippen abgelesen. Alles ist super unbürokratisch und fühlt sich leicht an. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im EG mit Außenbadezimmer. Das war super schön. Auf der Dachterrasse kann man sich für 45.000 Bier gekühltes Bier nehmen.

Das Bett war für uns nicht so gemütlich, aber Matratzenhärte ist ja eher subjektiv. Wir hätten uns eine richtige Bettdecke gewünscht.

The place is really nice and there is a kitchen on the rooftop which is a real must. We felt very good in our room which was very clean, well decorated and spacious. Every morning, we had hot water and biscuits on the table in front of our door. Finally, the location is exactly what we needed : near cafes and restaurants, perfect after a long day of visits. I recommend !
