The staff were friendly.

The bathrooms were very old and need refurbishment. The bedrooms are in a field. The staff failed to change the towels, even though I never asked, but the customer doesn’t need to ask the stuff for the towels to be changed or the room to be cleaned. My egg omelette had ants in it. The cleanliness wasn’t their forte.

The location is really good and the staff is very attentive.

The place is really rundown, it looks nothing like the photos and its super dusty in the sleeping area, it looks like they dont have many bookings and while the linens are clean, they remain unused for long and they get very dusty and smell old..

It was smelly and ac was too cold

Bed was comfortable. Breakfast included, had 2- 3 options. Staff was friendly.

There's loud construction noise from a construction site right across. Will wake you up in the morning. (Looks like it will take some months to complete). The floor towels are very moldy and need to be replaced. Smell in the bathroom was terrible when I came, got better after use. No free massage, no social activities. The upper pool smelled weird and got greener by the days.

De kamer was prachtig, maar helaas een Modder poel en verbouwing voor mijn kamer, zwembad was niet uitnodigend en van het hostel Leven is geen bestaan. Lieve mensen, locatie top, maar geen succes voor mij.

Staff were very nice and friendly, was in a good location, quiet but close enough to popular destinations and plenty of food/shops nearby. Breakfast and dinner included which was delicious!

Honestly it looked nothing like the photos, everything was quite rundown. The main pool was out of use. In the shared room the curtains were completely see through which wasn’t ideal when after some privacy.

It was different to the pictures online, however the room was very comfortable, with good aircon and slightly off the Main Street.

El personal fue bastante amable y la ubicación del hostel es fantástica. En pleno centro pero lo suficientemente escondido en el fondo de un callejón que no escuchas el ruido de la calle principal. Tiene dos piscinas, una con más sombra y otra más al Sol. La habitación me pareció cómoda, fresca y espaciosa. La cama era muy cómoda también. Se preocupaban bastante por la limpieza. Por otro lado, ofrecen desayuno y cena gratis lo cual me pareció súper acogedor

Estaba muy céntrico y podías ir andando a muchos sitios. También me gustó mucho que teníamos desayuno y cena y eso no lo he visto en otros hostels

Le lit était correct ainsi que le dortoir. Cependant les toilettes et la salle de bains n'était pas tous à fait propres.

In de ochtend kreeg ik een gratis water en een ontbijt dat lekker smaakte. De locate is in het centrum.

Ik kwam ‘s avonds laat aan en ik werd een bed toegewezen in een slaapzaal waar van ik constateerde dat er vuile lakens oplagen maar het bed was netjes opgedekt. De kamer stond vol met schoenen waardoor er een walgelijke geur hing. Ook in de bedden lagen er nergens verse lakens op. Deze lakens en kussens slopen stinken verschrikkelijk. Het personeel is opgeleid om de lakens te stofzuigen ipv verversen. Echte schande… ik heb dus geslapen om het deken en mijn eigen Shari gebruikt als deken. Ook over het kopkussen heb ik een t-shirt van me geplaatst om te kunnen slapen. Nooit zou ik hier nog komen. Het personeel is vriendelijk en beseft wat er hier gaande is maar krijgt dit van de eigenaar opgelegd.

The staff were very kind and always willing to help, which made my stay really enjoyable. The hostel includes breakfast and dinner, which is definitely a nice bonus. As a suggestion, it would be great to have a bit more variety in the dinner options. Also, adding some music during the day and making a few small improvements to the facilities would make the overall experience even better. It’s also worth mentioning that they offer free drinks on Sunday nights, which is a fun touch and a great way to meet other travelers. Overall, it offers very good value for money and I would recommend it.

it was really dirty, especially the bathrooms. i actually dreaded taking a shower and didn’t feel clean after. the pool was so dirty you couldn’t see the bottom. ants EVERYWHERE.

Buena zona

Las taquillas hacen mucho ruido, aún con tapones. El baño estaba sucio, una de las duchas estaba llena de arañas y polillas y no cerraba el pestillo ni de la ducha ni del WC, además estaban llenos de óxido, así como el chorro de limpiarte. Tenías que ducharte apoyando el pie en la puerta para que no se abriera. Apenas salía 2 minutos de agua caliente, tenías que aclararte con agua fría. Además ponen botes de “champú y gel” que son todo agua, la primera vez que me estaba duchando tuve que salir mojada a por los míos, así como el jabón de lavarse las manos, también todo agua. Por temporada baja el bar y el restaurante estaba todo cerrado. La piscina sucia. El desayuno no es como en las fotos que he visto de otras fechas. Los dispensadores de agua que tienen están mohosos y sabe mal. Cogí Bali belly de esa agua o del desayuno. En instagram y en varias aplicaciones para reservar sigue apareciendo que dan yoga cada mañana (nada más llegar pone lunes, miércoles y viernes), que la cena está incluida y te dan masaje gratis y excursiones gratis para los huéspedes. Todo es mentira, me alojé ahí por esos motivos y no cumplieron nada, excepto el desayuno que probándolo mejor que no me dieran de cenar. Anoche dije que haría el check out a las 7 AM y pregunté si habría alguien en recepción, me he tenido que ir porque mi coche estaba fuera esperando y estaba todo cerrado y no había nadie. Además el Hostel de enfrente en la misma temporada de lluvias y por 1/2€ más la noche cumplía hasta con los masajes diarios gratis.

El precio, amabilidad y disposición del personal

La puerta de la habitación no se cierra completamente y por lo tanto entran mosquitos, lagartijas, etc.

El lugar es amplio .

Deberían darle más amor al lugar . Paredes despintadas . Duchas pequeños que con costos cabe uno. Aires acondicionado como en mal estado .

I loved my stay! The place offers free massages (the best ones!!!), breakfast, dinner and yoga classes, which was such a wonderful surprise. On top of that, everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming :)

Abendessen inklusive (ich hab's nicht probiert, aber nice to have). Bin zweimal nett von anderen Gästen angesprochen worden. Das war das positivste an dem Hostel. Das Bett war okay.

Ich habe mich sehr unwohl gefühlt und bin nach einer Nacht "geflüchtet". Das Hostel ist extrem in die Jahre gekommen und ich verstehe beim besten Willen die positiven Bewertungen nicht. Das öffentliche Badezimmer war einfach eklig und ich habe mich nicht überwinden können, dort zu duschen. Generell wirkte alles sehr abgenutzt. Die Bilder sind alt. Das Frühstück war auch nicht besonders ansprechend. Eine Rückerstattung habe ich nicht erhalten, weil das Hostel nach eigener Aussage nicht genug cash da hat (klang nach Ausrede). War mir aber egal, ich wollte nur weg. Meine eigene Schuld, dass ich direkt vier Nächte gebucht habe.

30 min gratis Massage inklusive Frühstück und Dinner ist gratis, allerdings nicht sehr gut Theoretisch gibt es mehrere Pools, sind aber nicht einladend Wifi ist gut Personal sehr freundlich Es gibt eine WhatsApp Gruppe um sich zu Touren etc zusammenzuschließen Lage nicht weit von Ubud Main Road

Sehr veraltet, Sanitäranlagen rosten überall, Wasser stinkt metallisch, die Bettnische ist okay allerdings sind die Vorhänge sehr dünn und das private Fach auch verrostet

Great location down an alley away from any noise but close bike ride from main centre. Really nice staff and additions (free meals yoga and massages) and lots of activities to book with them. Had a private room which was really nice and separate from main hostel.

The price was high, including in theory dinner and yoga, however only offered half of the days, and using half of the installations (the worst ones in the front). When claiming, the personnel was covering up each day and lying about next day, thus waking up again for inexistent yoga at 8am or passing by for dinner without free service. Moreover, they directed us to stay in the front of the hostel. There are 2 swimming pools (one newest and maintained at the back, the other one with dirty water) and 2 common areas (for breakfast, utilitarian and half empty, and the real resting area we were unable to go)

De massage, er staat wel dat je gratis massages krijgt. Maar je krijg er maar 1 gratis. Per dag dat je boekt krijg je 15 minuten

De bedden hadden veren en die kon je goed voelen en niet zo sociaal. Ook zou er een rooftop zijn met zwembad, maar die is er niet meer. Er is ook veel schimmel en de badkamers waren niet zo schoon. Weinig sociale activiteiten, er worden familie diners gegeven maar niemand komt of praat met elkaar.

The beds were large, there were multiple pools and free breakfast which was nice but small. The free massage was also great and the lovely gave a great massage. The place is close to main places in Ubud, usually a 15-20 minute walk to places you might want to go.

The water didn’t work for a while in different areas of the hostel and it smelled very bad in the showers all the time.

good location, friendlyish staff

The entire place is run down and not very cared for. Bathrooms are gross and the showers weren't cleaned at all during my stay. The Mattresses are uncomfortable, the sheet would always come off and there were stains (mold?) on my pillow. Generally unclean. I originally came here for the social vibe and to meet people, but the hostel was dead. There were maybe five to seven guests in total (and that in the middle of high season). The price is way to high for what you get. Go somewhere else if you're staying in Ubud, you can get something way better for half the price. Also the free dinner that is misleadingly advertised on social media and Hostelworld doesn't exist, so read your booking details carefully.

Location, staff , masseuse and yoga teacher are great.

Lack of cleanliness, smell of humidity in some rooms, they don't change the water in the big drums and it's green. A girl didn't notice, drank it, and vomited. It seems that the hostel is abandoned. It's a shame because the staff is very friendly, the masseuse and yoga teacher are great, and it's well located, but the entire hostel needs a thorough cleaning and a good coat of paint.

Très bonne auberge de jeunesse, le lieu est vraiment sympa, le personnel est vraiment adorable. Et c’est très très bien situé. C’est très calme, les gens respectent assez le côté « dortoirs et partages »

The staff was lovely, perfect location close to everything and a couple of free amazing massages.

The staff are excellent. AJ was always friendly, out talking to guests, offering advice and being a genuinely star. The receptionist was helpful; she arranged my Mount Batur walk (AJ waited with me for the 2am pick up so I was not alone) and provided very honest and helpful advice when it came to onward travel, where to go, etc. Additionally, the masseur was lovely. The location is very central and is close to many cafes and restaurants (the free meals offered at the hostel were very good though so you may not wish to go to any), as well as being close to attractions such as the museum, monkey forest, art market, etc. Overall, a pleasant environment to stay. I felt very comfortable and safe here.

I stayed in the dormitory which were quite old and not very well maintained. The beds were comfortable but the bed sheets had marks and stains on them. The shared bathrooms were unclean; one of the showers’ drains was completely black with dirt and hair, and both showers had live spiders and dead moths trapped inside for the full three day stay. After speaking to others who were in the private rooms, it sounds like the private rooms are much better cared for.

The solo room was incredibly comfortable, I loved the included massage and meals, and the family vibe at dinner was a wonderful way to meet fellow travellers. Being in my 40s was no issue either, get out there and see the world!

The bathroom is starting to show its age and may need work in the next few years, but otherwise it is still functional.
