Large spacious condo with full kitchen. Comfy bed and all the amenities of home,

Unfortunately, I requested a preference for the first floor accommodations due to mobility issues, I was given the second floor unit. I guess from talking to the staff the first floor units are hard to come by since these are time share units. She suggested trying to book in March or April for a summer vacation. Other than the amount of steps we loved the place and would stay there again if a first floor was available.

Spacious rooms, loaded with condo styled amenities. Save $$$$ cook for the family as there is a full kitchen with plates, pots and pans. The bedroom has a ceiling fan. HOWEVER, there is no A/C. Very quiet location. TV w DVD player in living room and facility rents movies for free. Small community hot tub. Effective and working. The pool is lovely.

No Air Conditioning. There is heat! But this A/C addict would have benefited.

We have stayed here many times however we were stuck in a situation where we could not get back to the lodge in time for 11 o’clock check out we asked for a one hour extension and they said that was not possible and they are nowhere near capacity

The rooms were spacious and the rooms looked newly remodeled. Furniture was new and matched the decor. Would definitely recommend it to friends.

I like the quaint style of the condos and that they are very well located in the center of town.

Just some TLC needed for carpet which smelled of pet and the extra blankets had lots of dark strands of hair which is not ours 😬

Overall everything was great. The only minor issue was that the internet connection on the third floor was occasionally unstable during our stay.

Spacious suite with everything you need - full kitchen, two bathrooms, separate heaters. Everything was clean and comfy. Two fireplaces is a bonus.

Even if the property is non-smoking, some guests did smoke in the parking lot near the building, and the smoke went right into the suite.

I am writing to formally express my serious concern and dissatisfaction regarding the handling of my fully prepaid reservation at your Big Bear property. After arriving late at night with my family, including small children asleep in the car, we were unexpectedly informed that our reservation had been canceled. This was extremely alarming, especially given that the booking had been fully paid in advance. For nearly two hours, I was on the phone attempting to resolve the issue, while being told that the agency had canceled the reservation. Simultaneously, the agency indicated that no such cancellation had occurred. Meanwhile, my family remained waiting in the car at night, unable to access the room we had already secured and paid for. This situation was not only inconvenient — it was stressful, uncomfortable, and deeply disappointing. It significantly impacted the beginning of what was meant to be a relaxing family vacation. Although the manager eventually allowed us to enter the room for one night while the matter was clarified, and the issue was later resolved, the emotional stress and disruption caused by this incident cannot be overlooked. A confirmed and fully paid reservation should never result in uncertainty upon arrival. Given the circumstances, I believe a formal review of this situation is necessary. I would also appreciate consideration of appropriate compensation for the inconvenience, stress, and disruption caused to my family. Whether in the form of a partial refund, future stay credit, or another suitable gesture, I trust the hotel will acknowledge the seriousness of this experience. I look forward to your response and to understanding what steps will be taken to ensure this does not happen again. Sincerely,

Great value for location and sq ft - two full bathrooms with two young boys were awesome, loved x2 fireplaces and kitchen with everything needed to enjoy a healthy meal - super close to everything, we were on the 3rd floor so enjoyed some extra high ceiling!

Their door key system is glitchy which is quite frustrating when you are on the 3rd floor and the front desk makes a substitute but that doesn't work either. This happened twice to us. Or they are making errors making the keys. One evening in the middle of our stay keys didn't work. We walked two floors down to get a new key. Didn't work either. We called front-desk they sent maintenance who had a master key. On the day of the checkout, we asked for a late checkout they gave us extra 30mins to 11:30. Great! I go out to load bags in the car 11:05 the keys stops working. I walk down to get a new key still doesn't work. I called maintenance which shows up after 10mins.

Excellent facilities and value for money; our one-bedroom suite was cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped.

Customer service of front desk staff was average

We didn't have the breakfast but it was a wonderful stay. The room was beautiful I recommend the top floor with the high ceilings. There was an air conditioning but the windows open and let the cool Mountain Air in. You also have to walk Three flights of Step but we're healthy and we didn't mind. The staff was wonderful the location was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay there. Best value for the money.

Staff is fantastic. It is basically a small apartment for rent instead of a motel.

This place is great. I hope they stay in business for a long time. Maybe have longer hours to use the lobby to play pool or play games.

Vintage, had everything I needed

Make sure to record the room before you leave. They will charge you teling you break things in the apartment. I left the apartment in perfect condition and they told that i left something broken, what is not true. The place is good, comfortable and clean.

They were not honest about broken thing in the apartment.

Jacuzzi was cold

Worked well for me while we are renovating our house in Moonridge. It was like being at home with all the amenities. The staff is wonderful. My only suggestion would be to do something about the tub/shower. The walls are peeling a lot.

Spacious rooms and very clean. Close to everything and the free shuttle stop is steps away from the hotel.

The location was Great. It was in the middle of everything. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. The barbecue area outside was a very nice feature. We will definitely stay there again.

I was disappointing to discover no AC. I literally lost a day of doing anything because windows needed to be opened because I could not open. One window was broken. Next water was leaking next to dishwasher so maintenance had to come up and fix, run two cycles and come back to ck on it. Also three stove burners were not working. Maintenance had to take the stover grates off, fix the burners so pilot can light. Lastly the communication was lacking in that at times you could only leave messages. Not all messages were returned even after power outage when I message if they had any flashlights or candles as Insat in the dark waiting for power to come on. As much money the room cost per night you would not expect these issues to come up but they did which is the reason for my rating and review

EXTREMELY friendly staff. Clean facility. Great rooms. Will be back soon. Just be aware that there is no air conditioning. We were well aware and it wasn't an issue for us. Bedroom and living room have ceiling fans and a box fan was available in the closet.

Snow Lake Lodge is our go-to place in Big Bear. We love how spacious it is, the ability to have a full kitchen and two bathrooms - great for families or groups of friends. It is located right between downtown and the ski slopes, so it is very convenient. We've never had a bad experience.

Just a piece of advise - if you are traveling with a family, make sure you ask for a room that has a dining table rather than a bar in the kitchen - it is a lot more comfortable.

Clean and comfortable place to stay, nicely equipped kitchenette, tubs could use resurfacing, noise from floor above made it hard to sleep last night we were there.

This place was super clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and communicative. They even had a nice happy hour with free rootbeer floats. The room was spacious and very well equipped. A fantastic value. Will definitely stay there again.

A wonderful place to stay. Overall one of the best hotels we've stayed at recently. Two bathrooms is a great feature when you are on a holiday with your family. Lots of space, a well-equipped kitchen, a perfect location of the hotel - you are close to all main attractions. Definitely recommend.

Property is nice, pool was nice- very clean & all necessary amenities. Loved they even provide a-tio’s & cotton balls, lil things I often forget to pack. Beds could use a mattress topper for better comfort. Otherwise rooms are very spacious. Loved they even provide 2 bathrooms.

No stairs Tv mount in living awkwardly high, couch wasn’t comfortable.

Perfect for our family of 4. Very comfortable, private enough for the parents and prefect for the kids.

Location is great. Centrally located for all of Big Bears shops, restaurants and activities. Room is spacious and clean. Front desk staff are courteous and helpful. BBQ'S, pool and spa make this a great place for families. Kitchen was well stocked with refrigerator, stove, pans, plates and utensils if you want to cook.

Parking is limited. We came with 2 vehicles and had to park one off site. Was still close, but a little inconvenient.

This trip to this lodge was terrible!!! The power completely when out two hours after I arrived and did come back. The next morning the power was still out and I decided to leave due to the power being out. I asked the lodge for a refund and they refused to give me a refund. So they basically wanted me to complete my stay even though we had no power. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED in the way management handled my situation. I will never go back to this place again!!!

Always a great place to stay.

It is a very old condo complex. The rooms need updating. Furniture and decor very old. The sleeper couch VERY OLD, needed replacing

They sent a text the day of arrival that we could only have one vehicle. There were 4 of us with 2 cars. We were told it wasn’t a good idea to park on the street behind the hotel as car might be towed. The hotel was not full and there was plenty of empty parking spots. I pointed this out to the desk clerk and she said no matter, that’s our policy. Many of the rooms had yellow tape across the corridor and we were told they were not available because of inventory. So again, there were many parking spots available for the 3 nights we were there.Also no elevator, steep stairs and we were on the 3rd floor. No one to assist with luggage. We’re 80 yrs old.

I stayed at the Snow Lake Lodge. In the past, I had some great experiences there. This time, I found the staff attentive and friendly, and the property very clean and well-maintained. My only issue is that my mattress was terrible. I was in room 201, and I could feel the springs on the mattress. It is clear it needs to be replaced. It was bad enough that my girlfriend and I left early the last day to go home and sleep in our own bed. But for this fixable issue, it would be a 5 star stay!

We wanted peace and quiet for our stay in Big Bear. We have been returning to this lodge as we were satisfied in the past with their customer service. I had requested the 3rd floor a month in advance but was given 1st floor. Our upstairs neighbors had kids running around all day and night. When we complained the front desk stated they can’t do anything except send a text message out. We didn’t get any rest at night or was able to sleep in due to the guests that keeps stomping the whole time we were there. Please don’t stay here if you can’t get the top floor. You hear every noise your neighbors make from toilet flushing to water running;very thin walls.
