Une odeur d’humidité dans la chambre, probablement liée au climat et à l’environnement très humide de la région. Cela ne change toutefois en rien mon avis très positif sur l’établissement et sur ce lieu magnifique.

Great place, well off the road, lovely location right on the lake. Lovely family. The dinner was the best we had in Vietnam, my wife is very fussy and she loved it. Highly recommended. 5*

Really nice location by the lake. The bungalow was spacious and comfortable. Host were so welcoming and invited us to join their family party and share wonderful food and a few drinks of happy water (not sure it is though done every night, we might have been lucky). This is one of the best place to experience Vietnamese family welcome and will be one of the best memories of our trip to Vietnam. The morning after we had beautiful breakfast sitting by the lake. So sad we only stayed one night as they also offer plenty of activities.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié le calme du lieu, la vue du bungalow et la gentillesse des propriétaires. Je devais me rendre à Hanoï et ils m'ont conseillé de prendre le bus au lieu du taxi et ils m'ont même emmené au bus stop. Le bungalow est équipé de la clim et c'est très appréciable car il faisait chaud. J'ai pu manger à l'hôtel le soir.

Tout était très bien. Le lieu est excentré (normal quand on cherche le calme) mais il est possible de louer un scooter avec les propriétaires si besoin.

L’accueil chaleureux, le lieu paisible et très joli au bord du lac avec une belle vue. Le gérant est très sympathique, et nous a même emmené faire du bateau sur le lac pendant 1h. Le repas du soir était très copieux et délicieux.

Il faisait très froid dans le bungalow, peut être envisager de mettre une couverture chauffante ou un petit radiateur d’appoint lors la météo est fraîche.

Schöne Anlage direkt am See, die Familie ist super herzlich wurde direkt mit Tee empfangen, Abendessen war super lecker, Frühstück war auch gut. Gemütliches Lagerfeuer am Abend und Zimmer waren auch in Ordnung. Sehr gutes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis

De gastheer was heel verwelkomend. We deden een boottocht bij zonsondergang, het was super idyllisch! Je kan ook zelf kayakken of varen met een bootje. De locatie zelf is heel mooi en het eten was fantastisch! De kamers zijn ruim en proper. Zeker een aanrader!

Hébergement au bord d'un lac dans une nature superbe !! Même si nous n'y avons séjourné qu'une nuit nous en avons vraiment profité. On y mange très bien également.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Giang. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Giang et sa famille qui sont d’une incroyable gentillesse. Le logement est idéalement situé, face au lac. Endroit calme et ressourçant. On recommande !

Je recommande vivement cet établissement situé dans un site naturel magnifique, loin du bruit et de la fureur de nombreux lieux touristiques... L'hébergement est à taille humaine et possède beaucoup de charme avec ses 5 petits pavillons faisant tous face au lac. La famille de Giang est d'une grande gentillesse et la nourriture excellente.

Giang family is very friendly and hospitable. The place is very calm and beautiful. They organized us a great boat trip around the lake. The bungalow was sparkling clean and comfortable. Food was delicious. Highly recommended!

The host family were so welcoming, went above and beyond to help us out and make us feel at home. The food was exceptional, amazing to try local recipes and ingredients which had obviously been lovingly prepared. The location was spectacular, very clean, very quiet, amazing wildlife, and we had an especially memorable boat tour on the lake which we loved. Overall, couldn't fault it.

We had an amazing stopover at VuLinh farmstay! The bungalows are beautiful, very comfy, and have a gorgeous river view. Giang and his family are very sweet hosts. They speak English super well and it was great to be able to exchange so much. We had dinner there and it was delicious. We also did a little boat tour in the morning and Giang told us a lot about the history and culture of Thac Ba. We highly recommend!

It was like being in heaven. I don't have better word to express that...if i could materialize heaven it would be like this place. It was fantastic....really it was perfection made homestay

I only booked around 15 mins before arriving. Upon getting there i was greeted by name and a hot tea. Made to feel welcome straight away by the owners wife and family. Great location, fantastic views across the lake.

Just beautiful. Perfect location to escape and relax. Clean nice room directly at the lake. Perfect place to explore the countryside and really good food in the evening provided by the host. Good English skills for every question you have.

Incredibly family-run homestay right by a gorgeous lake. Very peaceful and quiet, just what we were looking for for after staying in busy Hanoi Comfy beds, private parking, very secluded, has everything you need. Plus, one of the best meals we’ve had in Vietnam!

The location on the lake is so beautiful, the host and his family so welcoming, the home cooked food was delicious.

Three of us stayed at this Homestay recently, and quite enjoyed the experience. It is situated on a lake and our host Giang was there at all times to welcome us and look after us. The Bungalows we had were functional and fairly clean, although the windows could have done with a clean on the outside. The beds were softish by Vietnamese standards and the shower hot. The evening meals we had, were basic but good, as was breakfast. As a final note, we were unsure of the condition of the roads leading to the home stay ... however the main road has been recently resurfaced into a nice 2-lane highway and the road leading to the home stay has been concreted, apart from the last few meters which is a gravel track. In summary I would not describe this as luxury, but is a nice quiet retreat, at a reasonable price and would recommend.

I stayed in a private bungalow that was large, modern with hardwood floors and a big clean modern bathroom. Balcony right on the lake so the view was amazing. The staff were helpful and the whole place was mellow, relaxing and friendly and they had created an atmosphere where the guests talked and enjoyed each others company. Sunset boat tours of the lake are offered by the owner. The meals were excellent, easily as good as restaurant quality and plenty of it. Fresh fish from the lake, a selection of grilled meat, plenty of vegetables form their own farm including brocolli, carrots potatoes, corn etc etc etc. Google Maps shows the location away form the lake but the water level was good and it is lakefront.

The location is breathtaking! It seemed like it would be so easy to get there from Hanoi but after messaging them, the property quickly helped us find the right bus. It was a much needed escape from the chaotic life of Hanoi and a great opportunity to know a less touristic, more authentic, rural Vietnam. The food was good, activities were nice, and the family that welcomed us to their homestay was amazing. Will definitely come back if we ever find ourselves in this part of the world again!

The host family where extremely accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed an awesome dinner with the Host and made some new travelling friends along the way. The views from the property of the lake were superb and the place is extremely tranquil.

Such a beautiful stay right on the lake where you can swim and chill. There are beautiful blooming flowers that attracts the most amazing assortment of butterflies . The owner and his wife were so warm and welcoming to me including dinner inviting to join them for dinner. I also got taken out on a private boat tour at sunset and it was one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. I stayed in the dorm room which had a comfortable mattress and mosquito net. It is a traditionally built homestay in the fact the dorm room there are gaps between walls and ceilings which personally is something i love as it feels I am more at one with nature. But for anyone who wants a bit more comfort I was told by other guests that their private rooms are also great! it's a really great way to get a good experience of vietnamese hospitality including a bit of happy water and karaoke ;). thankyou so so much

There is somehting with the smell of the rooms. It wasnt distutbing too much, but you wouldnt necessarily associate it freshness

The location on the rice paddies within the village farms was unbelievable. The whole family were so welcoming and did everything they could to provide us with what we needed. The bungalow was small but sweet, with mosquito net included and toasty hot water which was needed after a day on the bike. Our friend stayed in the shared room which was also cosy and comfy for him. Food was cooked by the family and it was absolutely beautiful - the fried pumpkin is my favourite thing I ate in Vietnam!Rice wine was shared between us all whilst we played card games and shared stories with the family. They have dogs and cats (and chickens, of course!) which are super friendly.

Wonderful farmstay with a very friendly family that welcomes you. 2 adorable cats and two cute dogs, beautiful views and a freshly cooked dinner made the experience special.

I had one of the bungalows water front. Room had mold smell. I left all windows opened during the night and slept with the provided bug net to compensate the smell. Otherwise really nice and clean.

Amazing Farmstay! The best accomodation we could ever book. Host incredibly thoughtful, willing to accommodate us with any of our needs. We did a loop boat tour with him on the lake, helped us to organise a trekking around the area and also to book our bus back to Hanoi. We stayed for two days and two nights and both food and breakfast were extremely tasty for a very reasonable price.

Price displayed is not relevant. Owners should state the meal costs prior to purchase as this was significant to the final bill and while the dinner was acceptable it came as a shock the actual price of the stay.

Hosts are really nice and welcoming. Beautiful, healthy and delicious supper. I am vegetarian, they prepared a good selection of vegetables, rolls and tofu. A lot of food. Price very reasonable for food. The landscape around are ricefields and mountains, beautiful, worth the detour.

The room was a little bit damp smelling but the air con helped.

Nice nature amidst the rice fields, practical and comfortable bungalows. Giang and his family are great hosts: we had a nice dinner with them and other guests and we enjoyed it very much!

One of the main highlights of our month in Vietnam! Perfect, tranquil location. Would love to see the transition of the farm and land over all the seasons. We visited in late January and it was gorgeous. Lovely family who welcomed us so wonderfully. We had the most delicious dinners prepared for us and we were invited to have a Vietnamese hotpot with the family on our second night which was such a treat. This is a proper homestay that every traveller looks for. Yen Bai is also the perfect stop off point between Hanoi and Ha Giang / Sapa. Definitely don't miss out on this hidden gem. Thank you!!!

We had such a lovely stay with the family & their 2 dogs & 2 fluffy cats 😍 The room was perfect, we visited while it was freezing cold outside but we warmed up with the wood fire that was setup and the 2 blankets. There is hot water aswell and AC for warm days. The room was super clean, well maintained, spacious and the shower had decent pressure. There were 2 big terraces aswell and the owner had 2 boats for exploring the lake. Just ask for a trip to the cave and you'll be amazed how beautiful the environment is. The wife was pro chef, doing a hot pot for dinner and banh mi with omelette and veg for breakfast. Also we got to taste the fresh shrimp & fish from the lake due to father's fishing skills. Overwall it was an extraordinary experience and we decided to come back later on next year when the weather will be better. Lovely family & stay! ❤️❤️❤️

This is probably my favorite homestay I’ve stayed in! It’s my second time coming back and it was even better than the first time! Giang and his family are amazing and welcoming! The views and tranquility you get here are something everyone needs to see for themselves

Giang’s Homestay was so beautiful! There is so much beautiful wildlife and I’m never seen so many butterflies in my life! We ended up staying for a couple of extra days. We stayed 6 days in total. Giang helped us organise a bus to the Homestay from Hanoi and helped us organise our return back. The rooms were very clean! We enjoyed kayaking and canoeing on the lake. Giang offered to organise easy rider tours and treks. We were served an amazing spread of locally sourced food each night and happy water every night. We had fresh shrimp, duck, pumpkin, chicken, banana’s and watermelon. We ate every meal at the Homestay. Giangs family were so kind and hospitable during our stay. We hope to come back again. Staying with Giangs family was the highlight of our trip. We also are big cat lovers and enjoyed all the cuddles from Be and Thom!

Such a wonderful homestay in an idyllic location with the best, most delicious family dinner we've ever had. Was the perfect stop on the way back to Hanoi after our trip on the Ha Giang loop. We were even able to organize the boat trip around the lake in the morning which was very relaxing. Will definitely return for a longer stay next time!

The owner was amazing and the kid-daughter was a delight (she didn't know our language, but she was happy to play Uno with us. It was a blast).. We only stayed one night, but I would have loved to stay a full day here. If it fits the schedule, stay for two nights and ask about a boat tour on the lake

Giang and his family are very welcoming hosts. We stayed in a bungalow right by the lake. There are options for activities like a boat ride or kayaking, which are both highly recommended to take in the excellent views of the lake. We stayed for 2 nights, and the dinner was great both nights. Our room was comfortable, with a/c, a hot shower, and a soft bed.

A bit of a rough road to get here, but worth the drive.

A well deserved 10 for me. Giang and his family have made our stay memorable. Great location by the lake, with plenty activities to do (kayak, boat, motorbike rental, etc..). The meals were some of the best we experienced during our whole stay in Vietnam. Giang's family is lovely and our daughters will remember their days spent with Giang's children. Great location we loved the boat ride on the lake and giang took us to a small island where we could go swimming. Then had a wonderful dinner with his family in the evening. A fantastic place to stop between Hanoi and Ha giang

The location is perfect! The road a bit slippery but it is so worth it. No troubles getting there. The staff are so kind, helpful and thoughtful. Puppies are a big 10!

It is a nice retreat outside of everything. our can relax very nice. But the very best thing is the wholesome and welcoming host family. The are such nice people I wished I could stay longer just for them. The dinner provided was also very nice (and a lot!).

Some things weren't perfectly clean. But this is a little nitpicky. It's a little hard to find because it is at the very very end of the village and the address isn't 100% accurate. If you think you're there and you can still drive, you're probably not there.

Our stay at Giang Tien Homestay was an absolute delight! The host was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The comfortable accommodations provided us with a peaceful and relaxing stay. The homestay's location next to the lake and rice fields was simply breathtaking. We enjoyed waking up to the stunning views and taking leisurely walks in the serene surroundings. It was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. If you're looking for a cozy and charming retreat in a beautiful natural setting, Giang Tien Homestay is the place to be!
